We went to the Wildcat's Den after a horse riding tour (this place was recommended by the guide). We ordered chicken wings (unfortunate shrimp and fish was out). And it was very solid. The fries were fresh and the toast that went with it was also really good. The service was very nice, it took the food a while to be ready, but they were busy. Recommended by the cowboys at horse back riding. Pretty good spot. They ran out of fish when we got there so we split an order of the wings. Wings came out sauced a crunchy. Not terribly overcooked. It does come with a lot of fries and toast. So it's a lot of food. This place can get packed during lunch so food can take a bit of time. This place is an absolute shit show! We placed an order for pickup in advance during the slowest park of the afternoon and their system gave us a time it would be ready for pickup. We got there after that time and it was packed. I asked when it'd be ready and they couldn't tell me and so I asked for a refund and the manager (Hispanic guy) was so incredibly rude and unprofessional and yelled at me for having an attitude for asking for a refund. People were getting refunds left and right, it was that bad. A note for the manager - Obviously you need some restaurant training. If your front of house is packed and all tables are taken, you clearly need to shut down online orders until you can meet demand. Food service 101. There were people in the restaurant who had been waiting hours and got no food. Also, you're lucky I walked out the door and you didn't have any consequences!!! You better be careful who you speak to like that. I hope your days get better before your head spins off! read more

Excellent quick stop on our drive of the enchanted circle. Everyone was following rules and the food was delicious. My son and I chose the wildcat burgers and they were delicious. Hubby chose the deep fried steak sandwich and said it was very good. No indoor dining but they have added picnic tables that have a gorgeous view. Highly recommend! I've been a regular customer here for over a decade. Sadly, the new owner is clearly in over his head. His response to any kind of customer question is to publicly berate, humiliate and shame the person who is questioning him. The last three times I visited, it took an average of 45-60 minutes to get a couple of burgers. If you decide to eat here, whatever you do, don't ask about your food after you order! You will be yelled at and treated as if you are causing problems by the owner no matter how politely you ask. I have personally seen this response on multiple occasions. read more

We ordered food from here because the current airbnb owner where we were staying recommended we try. Due to COVID we only ordered for pick-up and the staff was very nice both over the phone and in person. Upon ordering we asked of the wildcat special which is a green chili burger (that we shared coz its was pretty good size) with very generous serving of delicious fries and a drink and we also ordered red chili bowl which we were recommended to try. I have to say that for a local hole in the wall the burger special was probably one of the best 5 burgers i have had in all the 50 states! I strongly recommend it if you are passing by or staying for a few days just a word of caution if u cant handle heat then stay away coz it does have a bit of it but not too much, at max a medium level. The red chili ordered however was much to be desired. It was very watery, lacked flavor and not to mention lacking any meat in it and instead of needing a spoon it appeared all we needed was a straw. Although one of the two orders needed serious help it should not discourage u from trying out that amazing burger. read more

Great prices and yummy burgers...what more can I ask for? This hole in the wall is a favorite spot of locals. They have quite a large menu including burgers, quesadillas, appetizer types of fried foods (jalapeno poppers for example), red chile bowls, fried chicken..and did I mention the burgers? The shakes are on point. My hub had a banana strawberry shake and it was thick and yummy. I had the burger special. I added cheese. The hub had the double because he was hangry. You can add bacon, cheese, mushrooms, and/or green chile if you'd like for $1/per topping. The fries were salty and addictive. The burger was meaty and delicious. There was no lack of meat or toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles). When in Questa again, I plan on stopping by to try something else. I expect the same quality. Stopped here on way back from hiking Wild Rivers. Hole in the wall but lots of fast food choices - burgers, burritos, quesadillas, fried chicken, fish and shrimp. The chicken quesadillas are excellent. And the fried chicken was small but very tasty and crispy. Don't hesitate to stop here if you are hungry! read more
