Every single appetizer and entrees are all so tasty. This is the best restaurant w the best food that I've had during my trip to Tao. Service was nice. Ambiance is really great for date night, friends gathering and family. Will definitely be back again to try other dishes next time.

On the recommendation of our lodge in Taos, we enjoyed a light meal at Medley. The restaurant side is reservation only but the bar dining is walk in. That's more our speed anyhow. The Bosque Elephants on Parade cherry beer and Tractor Brewing Cider hit the spot. We shared falafel with corn relish and beet hummus. Yummy. Our waitress was delightful and we visited about her being a potter and she invited us to she her studio the next day. Everyone in there was chatting and seeming to have a great time. The bathrooms were clean and well appointed.

Bar dining area or fancy dining room, We opted for the bar, it was packed already at 5.45 but we snagged two seats. Baby Kale Ceasar Salad (no romaine) with extra anchovies was delicious. Tuna Tartare Tostad with cucumber, red onion, avocado, sesame, sriracha, cilantro - delicious. Pommes Frites, special mention because it is so hard to find pommes frites in USA let alone really good ones, these were perfect shoestring. The portion sizes were huge and 2 of us spit everything and were full....but no so full we did not attack the Pear and Hazelnut desert with Chantilly hazelnut cream. Whilst delicious it felt a little overpriced at $15. When I make this at home I triple down on that chantilly cream. We had a couple Manhattens and Gimlets which were Ok in glasses that were a little on the small side. Bartender was extremely busy but still managed to humor our questions and comments. Personally I don't like to see any staff rushing around at this speed, it is unsettling as a client. Overall our bill was $103.74 pre-tip. More than we intended to spend at Happy Hour but we felt it was worth it. Shoutout one more time for those pommes frites.

Had dinner tonight at Medley in El Prado just 10 minutes North of Taos. What a beautiful setting, great ambiance and our server Skylar and the rest of the team waiting on us were super personable, knowledgeable and efficient! We had the carrot tomato bisque, the creamy green chile chicken enchilada soup ( oh so good!), the cheese platter with various cheeses, sliced fruit, homemade jam, and apple butter with grilled baguette, and the super delicious lamb chops with that golden raisin gastrique, cumin and crispy leeks! For dessert, the Mexican chocolate flourless lava cake with cinnamon ice cream! What an incredible unforgettable meal we had! I'm so glad we picked this place due to the awesome reviews this establishment got in Yelp. It was the perfect evening! Earlier that afternoon we had driven up 2-1/2 hours from Rio Rancho to spend the day and overnight in Taos for our anniversary. In the near future, we'll definitely be coming back to dine at Medley and will be bringing friends with us!

On a recommendation from a local, we went "out of the city" to dine at Medley tonight. So glad we did, it was great, worthy of the praise online! Aaron was our waiter, he did a great job... thanks Aaron... attentive but not intrusive! We started with cocktails of course, a Tanqueray martini, very good, and we swapped out a lesser cocktail for the Mesa Breeze. Cocktails were good! On the menu, we started with the tomato and peach soup and the crispy crab wontons... the soup was good, not the flavor explosion we expected, and the crab wontons were what you'd get at your neighborhood Chinese restaurant... good but not great... not a knock against Medley, they were just average... Up next we had the lamb chops! Now we're talking... we paid to have the extra chop added to the order (we got two a piece), and they were off the charts good! We also had the white shrimp small plate which was divine... yum! We discussed just having more chops to end the meal, but we decided against that... tempting as it was! We opted for the Dorado entree, which was delicious. The fish was a bit over cooked and dry, but the other parts of the dish evened that out. It was good! For dessert we opted for the profiterole trio... which was delicious! A cool thing about Medley is that they had an afillated wine shop next door. You can go there and pick your wine and it will be delivered to your table with a modest corkage fee... very nice! We had a nice white from France which was a great value and delicious! A good dinner! Recommend Medley if you're in the area!

Hostess pulled some strings and got us a table even though we didn't have a reservation. So happy she did. Hands down the best food in the greater Taos area. Will be returning any time I travel here

Had a great meal and experience at medley. Our server, Nieve, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering some good recommendations. Although it took a while for the cocktails to arrive, they were creative and well-crafted. Plus, we weren't in a rush, and they didn't appear to be either! We appreciated being allowed a leisurely pace, even though we were their last table of the night. We ordered the ahi tuna tostada, which is a must-order dish! It was delicious and very fresh. We also had the kale Caesar--the only change I would make is adding a couple of extra anchovies, because I like white anchovies. The lamb chops were also well seasoned and perfectly cooked. By this point, we could have stopped, but we had also ordered the tonkatsu and the trout. We knew the tonkatsu would travel, so we concentrated on eating the trout. The fish was very moist and yummy. My partner said it was some of the best trout he's ever had! The tonkatsu was presented in a more traditional manner with appropriate accompaniments and was also delicious. No room for dessert, so we'll have to go back. Overall, we enjoyed the food, the environment, and the staff. I understand why this is one of the best-rated restaurants in Taos!

The food was delicious at medley. Our server was very attentive to our table. Service was quick and we got seated immediately, having a reservation before hand. Our food came out fast with everything tasting delicious.

Magnificent. Marvelous. Medley! We got there by the hair of our chinny chin chin at 8:50 pm. Even though the kitchen was closing at 9 pm (Oh Em Gee - 10 minutes!), staff was kind enough to feed us b/c we had one crazy-ass long day! Friend and I ordered cocktails - signature Medley Marg which is spicy b/c of cumin salt & Watermelon Marg. I thought my cocktail would be totally sweet, not realizing it features habanero AND jalapeño. Yowza! Bartender kindly topped it off w/ more sweet watermelon juice. Hit the spot. My dinner featured a melange of Pan-Seared Wild Bay Scallops on a sweet potato puree bed w/ broccolini. Friend ordered Tacos of the Day - Sword Fish - and the Simple Arugula Salad. Our food may have been simple but top notch ingredients and presentation! What an exquisite ending to the day, finishing our drinks on the patio, admiring the moon. I look forward to next time I'm in Taos, when we can sit and linger and drink and visit here again. Thanks for the hospitality Medley!

Went with my Sales Team while visiting Taos. They have a full bar and the food was very good. We started with several appetizers: The Bread Plate, Crispy Truffle Fries with Aioli, Brussel Sprouts w/Parmesian & Bacon and Sushi Grade Tuna Ahi Tartare on Tostada. All were really good! I had the Braised Beef Short Rib w/Garlic Mash (HUGE!) and my team had the Grilled Scottish Salmon and Pasta Schiaffoni. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and our Server - Jupiter, was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. Bar drinks were all made well and good selection of Beer and Wine. We had a very pleasant meal. I would recommend!

Despite its cuteness however, it doesn't look like it's been visited by many based on the number of photos uploaded as of April 18, 2026. It might be its location as it's tucked in a quieter area from the center of Taos (it's still very much walkable from it though.) Well, I shall (thus) contribute to it. Great selection of whites and reds. Unfortunately however, none of the reds I got to sample didn't strikingly impress me and yet the Rioja was the best one out of the 7 displayed upfront. I hence went with a glass of it. Despite the beautiful weather on a Saturday at around 5:25pm, nobody was there. The live band for the night had just gotten to it where they were doing a little rehearsal. There was a good hour to the start of the show. The food menu also had a good selection of small bites from charcuterie board to hummus plate to meatballs to dumplings to flatbread etc. And the prices of them were mostly $10 to $15 (except the boards.) I had stopped at a different wine bar earlier where I had gotten me a few food for me to eat at the hotel so I didn't get anything at this place. Maybe next time. It's a great place for girls' night out, a date night or a solo dining as well. As I have mentioned already, live music every night. You can sit close to the band or a bit away from it near the entrance. Wherever you sit you'll be surrounded by the great ambiance. I enjoyed it tremendously.

I pondered if a 2-star rating would be appropriate but he was a lot nicer when I was leaving (he said a firm thanks) and extra stat was added to the whole rating. During my visit in Taos, I had a chance to go to a few different wine places and none of them did "flights". Whereas the other place was generous enough to let me taste more than a handful of their reds this place only gave me one of them (which I didn't care for.) I didn't want to be an entitled customer so I (out of politeness) refrained from asking me for a few more samples. I hence opted out on ordering a full glass for something I might not enjoy as all I could get were the descriptions of several other reds he said. I sure was hungry though so I ordered the mixed green salad and the rotating dessert (some sponge spice cake with date in it.) Both of them (when I ate them later in my hotel room) were okay to decent but I wasn't nowhere near "impressed". Will I go back here when I am in town again? Maybe but I can simply go to the other one I liked more or some vineyards that are 20-30 minutes from the center of Taos. It appears that some other people experienced the same questionable customer service experience (based on their reviews) when I felt "unwelcome" or even "being dismissed" I know that it wasn't personal. BFF and I were visiting the plaza and I wanted to eat linner somewhere different. As I researched restaurants prior to our trip, I found this gem and they have happy hour 7 days a week! After reading the many great reviews, we arrived approximately 15 min early prior to them opening as we were not sure how busy it would be on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived prior to the bartender but she showed up shortly after we did and took a seat at the bar!. Now, I genuinely do not like bar seating as I prefer a table, and they have one that sits 10 people but since there was two of us we did not want to hog up that much space. Our server was great and we started off with the brussel sprouts and elote corn ribs with red chile butter. Both were delicious and off the charts! I opted for the chicken sando and BFF ordered the steak frites. Both were delish and full of flavor! We also had a really good pinot cab. Our bill was a bit pricey for their HH menu (116.00 incl 5 glasses of cab total) but worth every penny! Ambience is totally cool, laid back, classy (but not pretentious) with a modern rustic flair on the inside. Will definitely be back if I am in Taos again!

Adorable (well, everything is adorable in Taos; it's the southwestern charm for sure!) but it's more than what its appearance says it all. You have to try their products and see for yourself. What I got me were a few bon bons and a chocolate torte (the whiskey kind). -Miso Caramel: is shaped like a mushroom. Even if you might not be a fan of miso based (everything), you should try these bon bons anyway as they don't taste like miso at all. I was quite shocked with this myself (well, I like miso soup; miso taste doesn't bother me at all. Even so, Miso chocolate candy was something I didn't know what to expect out of. That is why I am saying that I was surprised by it.) -New Mexico , Spicy: was also surprising. The kick in these tiny pieces was quite mighty and yet it was tolerable. -Whisky Torte: All sorts of organic ingredients are used to make these delightful tortes. Tortes tend to be a lot heavier than traditional cakes as their texture is that of fudge. And yet, that shouldn't be a reason for you to steer clear from it as this chocolatier perfected the torte in a way that it will not be too rich or heavy for your taste or stomach. At least that is what I thought when I tasted it. Another must-try item on their menu offerings. For its interior, it's mostly and simply grey on walls but this emits the "chicness" that doesn't overshadow the theme of its business. You should also pay attention to the ceilings and the floors. A careful attention to entertain the guests' eyes is seen throughout. Service was good. I first went here late in the afternoon (close to its closing time). I quickly glanced at each section of the store inside. The kind gentleman upfront wanted to assist me but after asking him if it was open tomorrow (it would be Sunday), he said yes to which I gave him my promise that I would be back tomorrow. The same man assisted me when I was back the very next day to make a purchase. Not sure if he remembered me or not. It's not chocolate bon bons or tortes you can enjoy at this store. The café offers tasting trios, mocha, chocolate mouse, ice cream, affogato, hot chocolate, and espresso and so on. This is a haven for chocolate fanatics.
