What a great somewhat surprise that there was a fully functioning bar at the top of the mountain. We were in the town the other day, we had plans to do the Red River Disc Golf Course. After a bit of driving around and calling, we found that we had to take the ski lift to the top of the mountain ridge to play. The ride up was really nice. It was well worth the few bucks to take the ride up and take in the sites. The views were incredible ,and impossible to put into a photo properly. The payoff at the top was about as good. After playing 9 holes we properly stopped into the bar for a round. there were plenty of other people at this spot on the top of a mountain, and it seems like most were just there for the beer. There was even a bachelor party taking place and it was only 11am. I should mention we had on jackets thinking it would be cold but the round got us hot. The place actually ditched our jackets in a cupboard until we were done playing, free of charge. Great spot; I may go again just for the view and the beverage! read more

Took the lift up for lunch and the views. Views were so amazing and the food really surprised me. Great steak fingers, hamburgers and good ole frito pie. Portions were enormous and the service was fantastic. Planning to go back soon. read more
