What a neat place. We drove past on the way to our Air BnB and decided we definitely needed to stop in before we left. The outside is super cool, and is exactly what I would expect from something known as the "Mothership." I'm not really sure how to rate the experience, because The beer itself was excellent. We shared a flight of six four oz. pours, and they were all great. My personal favorite was the German IPA. You could choose which ones you wanted by writing them down, one through six, on a piece of paper, which you then gave to the person serving you. They gave that paper back with the flight to keep things labeled, which I though was a seriously efficient process! The experience was not as great. We were a little confused how it worked, and the staff was not very warm or friendly while explaining it to my confused self. We also didn't see the beer list or description anywhere except behind the bar, and it was hard to see with people waiting in front of the bar, the staff behind it, and my bad eyesight. There also was very little seating, though it looked like they were reserving open floor space for dancing since a band was setting up. We were able to share a table with someone else, so it all worked out, it was just a little uncomfortable because we wanted to talk and our table partner was trying to read a book.

Love this place for an intimate music venue. They are mostly a brewery, but also have food, and they have a full service coffee truck. The grounds are like a rambling garden, with pathways leading to fire pits and intimate seating areas. There's copious outdoor seating, much of which is shaded, and there is an indoor and an outdoor stage. Even with hundreds of people attending the concert, I somehow never waited in line for a restroom. Quick shoutout to the brewery's T-shirt's... they're amazeballs. Softest soft cotton, with super cool designs and only $20 or something. Got one for my husband and it's his new favorite T! Oh, and the IPA is pretty tasty too.

This is another one of those Taos must-dos. (TMB now has a tap room in Taos proper, but make the trip out to this vast complex!) You can see the artistically imagined quonset hut from the highway. Pull in to see all the venues. (The day we were there, they were actually getting ready to host an event---I think a wedding---in event tents set up in the back.) This is a great place to chat and meet the locals. If weather permits, definitely sit outside so you can admire the views. There's a stage inside and one funky one outside for lots of musical events. Open mic night is supposed to be fun as well. Your order food and beverage inside and then the food is delivered to your table. I remember a bit more variety on the menu from a previous trip (about two years ago) but now it's mostly tacos. But, what tacos these are. I did the veggie ones with lime creme and they were delicious!!!! We also tried the chicken tacos. Awesome as well. It's weird that they come with fries, but whatever. They were good as well. Tastings are available if you ask. It's a great spot to spend the afternoon. (Dog friendly if on leashes.) Go hike the rim at the gorge and come back here to relax and refresh! Aside: Behind the brewery campus, it looks like there will be vintage camping available---air streams and other retro campers were being set up with permanent decks---all facing the majestic view.

Large, open space. Still managed to feel welcoming and comfortable.

We are staying next door at Hotel Luna Mystica and stopped in while we waited to check-in for our stay. We arrived just when happy hour (hoppy hour, they dubbed it) started. Since they don't have a liquor license, they offered an agave wine margarita. I ordered that and my husband had a blood orange drink (I can't remember the name). We ordered chips & salsa (just $1 during hoppy hour - I posted a pic of that menu for reference for other prices), and a taco dish. That came with two tacos and fries. The tacos were okay(I am guessing cooked in a crockpot because they were fairly greasy), but the fries were really good! We will be back to see what their dinner menu has to offer! The staff was polite and prompt and they have glasses setting out with a free water tap. There are service dogs welcome, but pets are only welcome on the patio. The music was reasonably loud (although we went at 3 pm - and saw they had a mega stage there for live performances). They had a TV with National Geographic playing which seemed fitting for Taos. All-in-all, a great stop!

Decent brewery in the middle of nowhere. In all honesty I stopped here in the middle of the day on a Friday when it was empty so I'm not sure I got the full experience. I saw a stage which is probably awesome when they have live music, and the outside area looked cool on a nice day. I grabbed a couple beers and had chips and salsa/queso and everything was pretty good. If I ever am back in New Mexico I will check this place out at night when they have a band so I can get the full experience and re-review the brewery.

My boyfriend and I were staying at the Hotel Luna Mystica and decided to try this for happy hour. We were not disappointed! Beers were $3 (as long as they were below 6% alcohol- $4 if over). My boyfriend got some pork sliders and we shared the sweet fries. We also ordered the chips and salsa for $1- which included the pineapple salsa! It was snowing when we came, but they had a patio that looked nice when it's warm out. There was even a stage inside! Next time I would like to stop again for a show!

I stopped by here this past Thursday with my wife. We happened to pass by Taos Mesa Brewing while on our way to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge and so decided to stop on the way back. This brewery is massive whenever you consider both their inside and outside seating. Even though we didn't go outside, we could see plenty of seating and open space, a lot of art as well as a place for bands to play. The inside was similar with a bar on one side, then some seating before open space and a stage on the other. Since it was right before Halloween the bar here was decorated with white and orange pumpkins as well as skulls. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. They were 4 oz pours and I could choose between 4-6 different beers at 1.50 a pour. Pretty reasonable if you ask me! Anyways I went with the Rosetta Probe Comet Smash IPA, session IPA, Pale Ale, Jonesy's Cross Eye rye, Dr. Okto (Octoberfest) and How Now Brown. Then my wife and I also decided to split a basket of sweet potato fries. The fries here were up in no time at all and were pretty decent. I had a few that probably could have been cooked a little longer but the ones that were cooked well had a nice flavor. I especially appreciated the larger than usual granules of salt on the fries. All of the beers were good representations of their styles with my favorites being the Smash IPA and Rye with my least favorite being the Dr. Okto, not that it was bad. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Taos Mesa Brewing has a cool space and their beers are pretty good too.

    Taster flight. 8 4oz pours for $8!

We stopped in to the brewery a few times when we were traveling through the area. We had a salad which we liked and a few pints and tasters. They've got pool tables and a stage inside. For us, the outdoor patio was where it was at. A lot of space out there, another bar, a place for a band, many tables and even a frisbee golf setup. Good times. There we sat sampling our flight and checking out my pics of the Bighorn sheep we'd just seen at the gorge. As for the brews, the Pale Ale, Brown Ale and Scottish Ale were best of show. Cheers.

Beer is good, had the black widow porter and hubby had the kolsch. Meager veggie options. Had the calabacitas and black bean tacos. Tasty. Playing was sloppy, my side of sweet potato fries were in the taco. But those were tasty as well. I liked the atmosphere. Cool venue for shows!

This place one of the most fun places I've ever stopped to grab a bite to eat while charging my car. There was live music, dancing, and the staff was super friendly! We sat outside on the patio with my dog and I have to say there patio is one of the most gorgeous places for a sunset. If I'm ever in the area again I'm definitely stopping by for another drink!

What a super fun place! In a converted airplane hanger next to the airport, this beer hall is definitely one of a kind. We were staying across the road at Hotel Luna Mystica and this was a perfect dinner and drinks spot. They have a great space and a lot of beers and food to choose from. As a vegetarian, I appreciated that there were a lot of options for me as well as my non-veg counterpart. We were able to walk over here, which is a huge draw, as was their awesome happy hour, which featured a bunch of highlights from the menu from $1-$3. I had the conspiracy burger as a veggie burger and it was GREAT! so much flavor and the green Chile was a huge kick of flavor. I loved the fries and the chips and salsa had a smoky, homemade flavor. Everything we ate was great, but for us the standout was the kolsch beer. So delicious, probably the best we tried on this trip, and unfortunately at this time only sold in this location! As it was Monday night they had a casual DJ, ping pong and were supposed to have karaoke which didn't happen, maybe because the bar wasn't super full. I bet it's hopping on Tuesday nights for trivia.

While I would give the food and service a five, the only reason why I knocked it down a star is because our food did not come out at the same time. Not to mention the parking issues! What we ordered: - Pepperoni pizza (12"): crust was good, crunchy but chewy at the same time. A perfectly executed wood fire oven pizza! My son devoured it and enjoyed it. If you're watching portion size, you can share this easily with someone else (3 slices each) - 6" personal size cheese pizza: perfect size for one person, the sauce and cheese had just the right amount of flavor. Crust is the same with the 12". My daughter liked it. - 12" Smokey Quartz: this is the crème de la crème of pizzas!! The dough itself was perfectly made, again chewy but crispy. The basil pesto sauce, the prosciutto, the sun-dried tomatoes, smaller pieces of cherry tomatoes, smoked mozzarella and that "I can bathe in" lemon vinaigrette drizzled on top is a chef's kiss! This had to be one of the best combination of pizza's I've ever had! I'm usually a Margherita kind of girl but this!!! Wow! I would drive 13 hours again for this pizza! I would definitely recommend this pizza if you like flavor, are adventurous and just want something delicious! Highly recommend this pizza! - Pollo Parmesan sandwich: similar to a chicken Parmesan sandwich only with a twist. The pickled jalapeños have it a nice kick. It wasn't as thick as you would think a chicken Parmesan sandwich would be but it was flavorful and filling. It came with a Caesar salad. The sub came out first and we waited about 10 minutes for our pizza afterwards. In my opinion that isn't quite acceptable. They were apologetic and we appreciated it but they should definitely work on their timing. It might have been a fluke, and this wouldn't be a reason why I wouldn't come here again. I would still recommend it!

However rather than it being a pleasant and memorable experience it turned out to be a total disaster, a nightmare. One we asked for a table they said it would be 15 mins when clearly there were two tables open which I was told were not reserved. So we proceeded to go to the bar. They had one chair available so I sat and proceeded to order a drink for myself and my friend which did not have a chair. In a very rude and obnoxious way the bartender said they cannot serve people who are standing. I said pull up a chair he said no. I said fine I will order one for myself and he will not. Again he said he can't serve people that are standing although I was sitting. So I went back the host which was as lost and ignorant as anyone can be. I requested to speak to a manager. She said she'd get one. No one came no one showed up but a woman looking very unprofessional in her attire. She just went to the stand and said nothing for 5 mins. She finally said "are you waiting for a table?" lol not hello I'm the manager how may I help. I explained the situation. She said we would still have to wait because the kitchen is behind. I said can we sit in one of the empty tables available she said no I said why she said because of the kitchen delay. I said I won't order food only a drink. I just want my friend to be able to enjoy one also so can we just sit? Finally after giving it much thought which seemed quite comical she said yes. We sat ourselves. The reason I explain this situation is simple. I do not want any tourists or people unfamiliar with this location to go through want we went through. Not only was it embarrassing but it was plain prejudice and extremely racist. Medley you have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. No understanding of the word courtesy and are clueless when handling a very simple situation. The shameful way of how you treated me and my friend is unacceptable. I don't know if it was because I was dark skinned or simply because it's that poorly run. But most certainly had to share this horrendous and disgusting experience I had at Medley. 0 Stars not recommended at all! And you all should be ashamed of yourselves for treating a new potential client in this manner. The blatant display of IGNORANCE shows how absolutely clueless you all really are. @aliciasnowwolf
