Depending on what your taste is, the yard line is a unique bar that draws an interesting crowd of people. The craft beer list is very good and the cocktails appear to be delicious. The bartenders are very good and entertaining, and have a great personality. The ambiance is not inviting to people and can turn people away once you walk into the establishment. There are pool tables and games which are good to play and keep people entertained, but it can get busy and you may have to wait to use the pool tables. They do serve food and it looks good, but have not tried it. I personally would not recommend this place unless you do not mind a place with a not so great decor and unique crowd of people. I will say the beer list is good and the cocktails appear to be excellent, so it is a good place to visit for drinks. read more

Don't waste your time. The bathrooms are about as clean as an outhouse, the pipes are broken and the faucet has no water. When you call the bar, they send it to voicemail, all the time. The staff is nice, I must say. Some of the patrons are rather ghettoish, if you go for that sort of thing, but for the most part a good crowd. If you have any issues, don't bother contacting the proprietor as he won't handle anything. If they cleaned up the place, ie. bathrooms, they'd probably do a lot better. read more

We didn't look at a food menu but she was really knowledgeable about the full bar and gave recommendations on mixers when we asked about a bottle we'd never seen. She offered to call a Lyft to people that needed a ride home and found a way to converse with all the different groups of people at the bar. I really like the arcade games, lounge areas, beer pong and ping pong set ups but it is seriously dark in there. I think that makes it feel more divey than it actually is? Went here with a friend for dinner.  We sat at our table for a few minutes before anyone came over to us.  There were quite a few people there for a weeknight and it looked like there was only one waitress/bartender, but she wasn't very attentive.  We both ordered tot-chos.  They were huge and delicious!  If you don't know what tot-chos are, shame on you, get to yardline and have some! This place is a cool place to hang out for any age of person. The staff is always amazing and friendly! Drinks are always great! You can eat, listen to music, place games, play pool or just chill out! The cried of regulars are above and beyond welcoming. I come to Yard Line regularly for a weekly pool league. They have 6 pool tables, a beer pong table, ping pong, giant Jenga, darts and a few other games too! There are at least a dozen TVs, so it's great place to watch any sports game. In the fall, it can get pretty packed for Thursday night football. There's a large selection of beers on tap, and the food surpassed my expectations for what I was thinking would be a regular ole sports bar! My favorite thing on the menu is the fried cauliflower bites! Their salads are quite large, so you may have leftovers if you're looking for something light. Some of the reviews on here are a little harsh. I personally have a different experience. I used to go to the Beer Seller quite a bit back in my single days. Now I'm married with three kids, so I don't go to bars all that often. However, when my wife and I do get a night out with our friends, this is always the place we want to go. The new ownership took the concept of the Beer Seller and improved it to what is now the Yard Line. I think their menu is unique and edgy, granted, if you are dieting, then you might want to eat before you go, because I can only imagine the calories in the Craig Burger! They have several different beer choices, and the staff has always been very helpful, and quick with what you are requesting. It's a fun environment. The bar has pool tables, shuffle board tables (my personal favorite), and various arcade games. They also have karaoke nights, which is a great way to hear people try to sing, then tell them they are actually good, and hope to see the American Idol judges rip them some day. I enjoy going there. It's one of the few bars in the Castleton area that hasn't turned completely ghetto, and where I don't fear getting shot! read more

The bartenders were friendly, quick at getting drinks out and making sure everyone was taken care of. Even though I didn't try the food it looked good and the prices are definitely reasonable for the size portions they serve. Plenty of TVs, pool tables and places to sit. Very little changed here from the Beer Seller it appears. They added some couches, they moved the pool tables and they moved the stage, but otherwise it has the same type of feel. Drink specials are pretty good and there is usually no wait on Pool, Shuffleboard or the Skeeball. I was here during an 80's cover band night who were really good. I really wish i remembered their name. I'm not sure if they had a Nintendo and Sega Genesis hooked up because it was 80's night or if they always have it there but playing Mario Brothers on a comfy leather couch with a few drinks was pretty fun! Only issue is that there is only 1 console and people tend to not move so if you get there and someone is already sitting down on that couch, you may be waiting a while if you had your heart set on some retro gaming.
