Terrible decision I made using these guys. My job was over $30k and most of that was sod installed in the backyard of my new home. They dug trenches for the irrigation but left hundreds of large rocks in the dirt and then laid sod right on top of that. They told me, "Don't worry, soon the grass will grow right over the rocks - no big deal. Give it a year or two. That was 3 years ago, and my yard is disgusting. I can't mow it as the wheels of the lawnmower drop down into the depressions where there are large rocks all around them. As you walk in the grass, there are pits and rocks that you can feel under your feet. Half of the sod has now died, even tho I spent hundreds every month over the summers on water and fertilizer. It makes me sick to even go into my backyard. I have asked the owner to come look at my yard and talk to me, and no replies - ever. He knows he did a cheap crappy job and now he just wants to hide from me. Stay away from this 'company'. read more

My elderly mother called these guys on my recommendation because her sprinkler system is leaking. They called her back and made an appointment for today at 10am. They never showed up. Noe & The Yard Guys did us a solid. As spring was getting warmed up, we realized our sprinkler system was in need of repair, but couldn't figure out what was wrong. Noe was able to devote a day with a crew digging up sprinkler heads and testing the system to diagnose the issues we had. Instead of a more costly re-install of the system, Noe figured out which valves needed updates and quickly repaired them. This got our sprinklers back on track for more efficient use of water on the lawn. It may have been a small job but it made a huge difference in our yard just as summer weather was coming on. Disappointing experience. Didn't show for first appointment, late for the next, grace was extended as I know life happens; goals reviewed, offer received, tentative plans made, guy 'went on vacation' then disappeared - tho I was still receiving their automated 'let's take the next steps emails' until I changed my filters. Our house was built in 2016, and the first owner did not finish the back yard. We bought it from the first owner in 2018 and... didn't do anything with the back yard because we thought it would be expensive and onerous to work with a company to make it better. In 2022, we were finally ready. Noe and his team did a great job turning our unfinished back yard into exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend. My work friend recommended The Yard Guys to me in late 2020, and I was hooked by the social media content they shared of their team doing good work and getting the job done. Landscaping is hard, y'all, and as a desk-worker, I especially appreciate the practical know-how and labor required. For just under $4,000 they installed 10 yards of DG, 5 yards of rock with weed control fabric to make a super cool rock "river," and added 6 low maintenance bushes that connected to our existing irrigation drip line. It only took working days to complete the job, and they were respectful of our property and did excellent work. The team did the project in August, and it's December now, and it still looks great. Our plants are thriving (now in winter mode) and the weed control fabric keeping out unwanted plant life. As a millennial, I appreciate how easy they made it for us to hire them. Noe came on-site to do an estimate, sent a quote, and we revised our ask easily through email. The new quote was perfect, and we were able to pay in two installments through venmo. This is our first home and the first time we've ever contracted with a landscaping company, and The Yard Guys did a fantastic job. I wish that we had invested in this project sooner! read more

This company did an amazing job on our backyard. They easily tripled our usable space. We were on a budget, and they were able to use some of the existing materials in our yard to save on costs. While we don't have a completely re-done yard due to our budget, we now have an enlarged, beautiful paver patio space with installed poles for sunshades and a lawn area for our young boys to enjoy in the spring. So easy to work with, from getting a quote and working out the details. Don't be afraid to ask questions, they're willing to work with you! Their quote was VERY competitive, and they did beautiful work in a reasonable amount of time. It's heading into winter now, and we're enjoying that space every time we have a chance before we are trapped inside. Seeing my boys enjoy our new yard is a joy, and we're so grateful. Noe's crew were there every morning for 3 weeks making sure they finished up our project just in time for Christmas. We couldn't be happier with the results!
