His crew came in and incorporated the RV pad using pavers to match the existing landscape design, reconfigured the irrigation and insured proper drainage. We cant be more happy with the outcome and honestly cant see using anyone else for our landscape needs.

A Backyard Transformation by Rock Solid Landscape…read more From our very first conversations, Jeff approached the project with a rare combination of vision, creativity, and care. He took the time to truly understand what we were trying to create and made it even better. With the help of his designer, he provided a detailed visual rendering that allowed us to see what was possible before construction even began. Beyond the aesthetic transformation, Rock Solid Landscaping brought expertise that solved real, long-standing challenges. They completely addressed our severe drainage issues in both the front and back yards, protecting our home and creating peace of mind. Throughout the entire process, their professionalism was unwavering. The team showed up every day on time with consistency, discipline, and respect for our space, always leaving things clean and organized at the end of each day. But what truly stood out was their spirit. They were positive, kind, and cheerful in their work, and they worked very hard. Even during adjustments or changes, we were met with patience and openness. It never felt stressful; it felt like we were supported every step of the way. Jeff remained closely involved throughout the entire project, maintaining constant communication and showing up regularly, often multiple times a week to ensure everything was progressing as planned, to address questions and make sure we were happy with the progress. Jeff is not just an exceptional professional, he is an exceptional human being. He leads with integrity, kindness, and heart. He understands that what he builds isn't just landscape, it's part of people's lives, their memories, their joy. We are beyond grateful to Jeff and the entire Rock Solid Landscaping team for creating something so special. If you are looking for a company that excels in custom landscaping, outdoor living design, water features, patios, drainage solutions, and complete yard transformations, this is the team you want. They didn't just exceed our expectations, they created something magical. THANK YOU Jeff!!!

Requested bids and designs to remove all the grass in the backyard, install sitting walls around trees with flag stone steps and zero scape setting. The rabbits and voles wreaked havoc in our backyard. We've had to replace our lawn twice. Jeff with Rock Solid Landscaping responded. We agreed to meet and walk the yard. We wanted 3 mounds with larger rocks around with native plants. The crew started everyday at 7am and worked until 4pm. They were always on time and worked a full day. This job was completed in 2 weeks. They delivered a porta potty, bobcat in front of our home. They put cones for safety. They are very organized, when dirt, rocks were delivered they moved to backyard. Then they swept the street and/or driveway to keep clean. Our neighbors complemented on the nice job of keeping street clean. Juan Carlos and his 2 workers were very well organized. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. I asked for a few Day Lillie's be transplanted back into the area. They installed a new drip system with an extension for me to plant my small veggie garden. We are very pleased with the entire process, price and worked they did. We highly recommend Rock Solid Landscaping.

Like most people do with major projects, I had a few companies come out to discuss and provide quotes. I was generally underwhelmed and started to think about delaying the project until we met Alfredo. Not only did he listen to my ideas and talk about how to accomplish them, but he came up with additional ideas that were even better suited to our ultimate goal of a family-friendly yard. And then he patiently explained material options so we could make a project that fit within our budget. When it was time to start construction, Tito led an amazing team. They were incredibly professional, and so accommodating to my requests for project tweaks and attention to small details. I really feel like we were given the all-star team. They took their time, and did beautiful work. My small family now has an incredible backyard to grow and play in. I'm so glad we didn't rush this project, and I can't thank Alfredo and his team enough.

Some wanted us to give them a plan; others wanted a fee ($500-$1500) to come up with a plan; and still others wouldn't let us see their plan until we had agreed to hire them. Once we agreed to proceed, Juan Gomez, the onsite project manager for The Paver Company and his crew worked hard and quickly and did a great job. They also left the job site clean. Not sure that I have ever seen a more efficient, hard-working crew.

Creative Gardens has an actual retail store in Sparks so you can always find them. We dealt with the owner, CJ, who was very knowledgeable on designing a backyard. He listened to what we wanted and then produced a virtual reality model of it on a large screen right there in the office. He had the ability to make real time changes as we requested them. This is a family operated business with CJ being the 3rd generation owner. His mom is the office manager and his sister runs the retail operations of the store. From the minute we walked in the door, they put us at ease and made us feel very welcome. The fact that they could make real world changes on the computer sold us on going with them. It was that and how well they treated us from the moment we walked into the business. During the build we had multiple changes and additions. The field supervisor, Jeff, is awesome to work with and doesn't know the word "no". He always says "we can do that". Their work crews were also great. Their crew leader, Cruz, can build just about anything and runs a tight ship. We really couldn't be happier with our backyard and the relationships we built with the Creative Garden staff. They have our full support and recommendation for their work. Oh and they are priced very reasonably.

They dug trenches for the irrigation but left hundreds of large rocks in the dirt and then laid sod right on top of that. They told me, "Don't worry, soon the grass will grow right over the rocks - no big deal. Give it a year or two. That was 3 years ago, and my yard is disgusting. I can't mow it as the wheels of the lawnmower drop down into the depressions where there are large rocks all around them. As you walk in the grass, there are pits and rocks that you can feel under your feet. Half of the sod has now died, even tho I spent hundreds every month over the summers on water and fertilizer. It makes me sick to even go into my backyard. I have asked the owner to come look at my yard and talk to me, and no replies - ever. He knows he did a cheap crappy job and now he just wants to hide from me. Stay away from this 'company'.
