We live in a community that the HOA has strict requirements and a permit is required for all work. I contacted 3 qualified landscaping companies. Requested bids and designs to remove all the grass in the backyard, install sitting walls around trees with flag stone steps and zero scape setting. The rabbits and voles wreaked havoc in our backyard. We've had to replace our lawn twice. Jeff with Rock Solid Landscaping responded. We agreed to meet and walk the yard. We wanted 3 mounds with larger rocks around with native plants. The crew started everyday at 7am and worked until 4pm. They were always on time and worked a full day. This job was completed in 2 weeks. They delivered a porta potty, bobcat in front of our home. They put cones for safety. They are very organized, when dirt, rocks were delivered they moved to backyard. Then they swept the street and/or driveway to keep clean. Our neighbors complemented on the nice job of keeping street clean. Juan Carlos and his 2 workers were very well organized. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. I asked for a few Day Lillie's be transplanted back into the area. They installed a new drip system with an extension for me to plant my small veggie garden. The crew was always on time, friendly, and if we had to pull out of the driveway they ran to move anything that may have been in the way. Every evening the entire project site was kept clean and tidy. The end result was fantastic. From having a failed, never growing, builder installed lawn on one side and the sandlot from our neighbor extending to our property on the other, we now come home to a neatly "trimmed" green front yard every day of the year. The crew from Rock Solid finished up early this morning. Here to make sure everything was spotless when they finished really last night. I can't say enough good things about the business or crew that were here for 7 days and a couple hours extra. Everything went smoothly, all questions were answered prompt and my only complaint is not hiring them when I built the house. That's on me not them. If you need a yard designed and installed per your desires, done on time and on schedule. With crews and an owner that puts the customer first. There is only one place to call. Warning it is a bit of a wait cause these guys are in high demand but the wait is so so worth it. The job site is cleaned every day, no trash laying and blowing around and these guys don't sit on their butts waisting time. If you don't call them your rolling the dice I've seen others doing yards in the neighborhood and let's just say everyone was happy when it was over and the construction debris was finally cleaned up and the streets were cleaned up at last Don't think any of my neighbors were annoyed with this job site or crew. We loved how our project came out with Jeff's expertise in guiding us through our planning stages to submitting plans and paper work through the HOA for approval, and of course through out the project! Due the positive reviews, I called Rock Solid Landscape to book an appointment even though the job was small potatoes compared to the pictures I saw online. Jeff contacted me very shortly after I left a message and agreed to come by and offer an estimate. He admitted that he doesn't usually do such small jobs, but he graciously accepted the work even though he was completely booked. As soon as a time slot opened up, he contacted me and the work proceeded. I simply couldn't be happier with the final product and overall service. The pavers were perfectly installed according to specifications, the rock work and plants superb, the French drains so cleanly installed that one might assume that nothing had been done. Again, this was quite a simple job as landscaping projects go, but Jeff's crew treated it as if it were something quite special. Aside from the quality of the labor and product, Jeff and his team have perfected the art of communication. Jeff explained not only what he would do but the rationale behind it. He responded promptly to text messages and phone calls, yes, even while in the airport on vacation when I contacted him with a question about the time frame. It doesn't get any better than that. I'd like to add a special comment about Foreman Juan: This guy is a perfectionist's dream. Yes, I'm pretty picky about the quality of work and even more so about the attitude with which service is provided. Landscaping is a messy job, but you'd never know it with Juan in charge. No matter how many times I asked him questions, he would patiently respond with an interesting combination of politeness and a certain conviction that demonstrated a confidence in his expertise.
