Creative Gardens has an actual retail store in Sparks so you can always find them. We dealt with the owner, CJ, who was very knowledgeable on designing a backyard. He listened to what we wanted and then produced a virtual reality model of it on a large screen right there in the office. He had the ability to make real time changes as we requested them. This is a family operated business with CJ being the 3rd generation owner. His mom is the office manager and his sister runs the retail operations of the store. From the minute we walked in the door, they put us at ease and made us feel very welcome. The fact that they could make real world changes on the computer sold us on going with them. It was that and how well they treated us from the moment we walked into the business. During the build we had multiple changes and additions. The field supervisor, Jeff, is awesome to work with and doesn't know the word "no". He always says "we can do that". Their work crews were also great. Their crew leader, Cruz, can build just about anything and runs a tight ship. We really couldn't be happier with our backyard and the relationships we built with the Creative Garden staff. They have our full support and recommendation for their work. Oh and they are priced very reasonably.

However, I still called and spoke to Sherri, explained we didn't want a refund but to exchange for one that would fit. She was so helpful and understanding and allowed us to make an exchange. This company fixed the screech--and somehow returned the dryer with NO HEAT. That was only the beginning. They missed the first appointment without calling. When I called them, I got an "Oops, I forgot to call you." Their repair person was on "sick leave," so they took the dryer to their shop, said they fixed a bad bearing, returned it, demanded cash, and provided no receipt. The very first time I used it afterward: no heat. They then promised to fit me in the next day on Saturday. No call, no show. I called them and she acted like we hadn't spoken the previous day. "Sorry, it's too late in the day, can't fit you in." We rescheduled for Tuesday from 10-noon. Again: no call, no show. When I called after 1:00, I got another "Oops"--apparently they had put me on the wrong day. At my insistence, their one and only technician came out and spent nearly two hours taking the dryer completely apart. When he put it back together, the front panel wasn't properly aligned. Then he apparently decided the repair was complete by simply leaving. I stepped out of the room and when I came back, I found the dryer running and the technician gone. No explanation. No goodbye. Nothing. I immediately opened the dryer to check it. STILL NO HEAT. I happened to catch him before he drove away and told him it wasn't heating. He said nothing and left. The next morning, I was told he claimed it was heating when he left. No, it wasn't. I checked it immediately after he walked out. Either he didn't actually verify his work, or his version of events is very different from reality. So this company took a dryer that heated but squealed, and gave me back a dryer that no longer squeals BUT IT DOESN'T HEAT. Multiple missed appointments. Multiple "oops" excuses. Cash only. No receipt. Poor reassembly. And a technician who tried to leave without even speaking to me. I've already hired someone else. I would not use this company again if THEY paid ME.

He proceeded to tell me that every location carried their own product. (How stupid did he think I was) he then asked me if I had an I number like it was my job to know it!! I thanked him (for nothing) and walked way. Found them in garden Ps. The other store was no better. The older, gray haired employees seem to get bothered when asked for help.

Requested bids and designs to remove all the grass in the backyard, install sitting walls around trees with flag stone steps and zero scape setting. The rabbits and voles wreaked havoc in our backyard. We've had to replace our lawn twice. Jeff with Rock Solid Landscaping responded. We agreed to meet and walk the yard. We wanted 3 mounds with larger rocks around with native plants. The crew started everyday at 7am and worked until 4pm. They were always on time and worked a full day. This job was completed in 2 weeks. They delivered a porta potty, bobcat in front of our home. They put cones for safety. They are very organized, when dirt, rocks were delivered they moved to backyard. Then they swept the street and/or driveway to keep clean. Our neighbors complemented on the nice job of keeping street clean. Juan Carlos and his 2 workers were very well organized. They always cleaned up at the end of the day. I asked for a few Day Lillie's be transplanted back into the area. They installed a new drip system with an extension for me to plant my small veggie garden. We are very pleased with the entire process, price and worked they did. We highly recommend Rock Solid Landscaping.
