My initial meeting with them took about an hour, where we discussed all phases of my desired landscape. I asked about cost and was told that the design fee is $1000, and the landscape should cost about $60,000. I told them that my budget was $75,000, with $10,000 of that being to have a large tree removed, leaving $65,000. The designer came out and charged me $1500??? After a couple months and 2 revisions to the plan, I was presented with a design that I liked. 3 weeks later I got the estimate. There were three significant items on the plan that were not on the estimate, meaning that the estimate would go up substantially. The estimate was for $179,000!!! All that FireSky did for me was to steal $1500 from me for a design that can not be used. I am considering legal action to get my money back.

The waterfall looks nice overall, but a couple of things are disappointing. The black hoses from the pumps are connected with bright white fittings, which really stand out in the pond and don't blend in. Secondly we actually saw them drop a boulder on our concrete patio walkway, leaving a crack from edge to edge. When we brought it up to the salesman's attention, he said the crack was already there - even though both he and the foreman had checked the area before work started and it was fine. He said he'd get back to us, but it's been over a week with no follow-up. They did however, cash our final payment right away. Just wanted to share our experience so that other neighbors know what they could expect. For the price we paid, we were hoping for better attention to details and accountability. SK

The Sierra Outdoor Services found and repaired the broken valve then re-covered the hole with beautiful pavers that matched our back yard walkway's perfectly! He diagnosed a leak and did some initial work, with no charge that day. He returned on May 6 with a helper, René. They arrived on time and about four hours later we had a watering system that works as it should. They pinpointed the leak, corrected it (which involved digging trenches), made sure all plants, front, back, and sides were receiving the appropriate amount of water, and kindly set the timers for us. Anthony was also generous with his knowledge, and I learned quite a bit about watering plants that I did not know when I woke up that morning. My husband was the one mostly involved with the project so I asked him what he would add to the review. He said Anthony and René were "fantastic." And my husband is not easily impressed. And they didn't need to take out my fence to bring in equipment like the other two wanted. Good old-fashioned tree climbing. While he was here, I asked him for a quote on four other trees. again a reasonable estimate and they got it done the same day.
