If you are looking to hire criminals, or just like throwing money away, FireSky is for you. I contacted them on the advice of a friend. My initial meeting with them took about an hour, where we discussed all phases of my desired landscape. I asked about cost and was told that the design fee is $1000, and the landscape should cost about $60,000. I told them that my budget was $75,000, with $10,000 of that being to have a large tree removed, leaving $65,000. The designer came out and charged me $1500??? After a couple months and 2 revisions to the plan, I was presented with a design that I liked. 3 weeks later I got the estimate. There were three significant items on the plan that were not on the estimate, meaning that the estimate would go up substantially. The estimate was for $179,000!!! All that FireSky did for me was to steal $1500 from me for a design that can not be used. I am considering legal action to get my money back. read more

We recently hired Landscaper FireSky Outdoor to build a cascading waterfall. Their quote was much higher than others, but they could start right away, so we went with them. The waterfall looks nice overall, but a couple of things are disappointing. The black hoses from the pumps are connected with bright white fittings, which really stand out in the pond and don't blend in. Secondly we actually saw them drop a boulder on our concrete patio walkway, leaving a crack from edge to edge. When we brought it up to the salesman's attention, he said the crack was already there - even though both he and the foreman had checked the area before work started and it was fine. He said he'd get back to us, but it's been over a week with no follow-up. They did however, cash our final payment right away. Just wanted to share our experience so that other neighbors know what they could expect. For the price we paid, we were hoping for better attention to details and accountability. SK read more

(They also DBA LandArt) They charge a premium price for average performance. And on top of that, they are like most any contractor today...generally, most of the workers don't care and they don't respect the customer. Our project was concrete work and it was okay; the entire process was nothing special. But there were several instances where their condescending attitude towards the customer's property were very evident compared to the performance of a truly good contractor. They were to install new drainage pipe from the existing gutter downspouts down under the new concrete pad (which they did) but they don't make any connections. (picture) And why do they do this...because they don't care. The new drainage was terminated with pop-up drains which do not work because they don't receive enough flow and they are on level ground. Plus they leak since no one glued the connections. And why do they do this...because they don't care. When they removed the wooden form boards after the pour, they tossed the nails into the lawn so that, apparently, they could become shrapnel when I ran them over with the mower. (picture) And why do they do this...because they don't care. When excavating soil in the middle of the lawn to set the forms, a good contractor would put the soil onto a tarp to preserve the lawn. But they, of course, tossed the excavation directly onto the lawn, walked all over it and tamped the soil into a hard pack. And why do they do this...because they don't care. When pouring concrete very close to a house, a good contractor takes some time to protect the structure from splash-over. But they, of course, don't so now I get to repaint the newly painted bottom trim of the patio area. And why do they do this...because they don't care. They moved some sprinkler heads but when reattaching the heads, they glued them into a fixed position...sprinkler heads are supposed to be installed on swivels so that you can shift/raise/lower them to their finished height. One sprinkler head was left almost three inches too high. (I had to correct that so that the mower didn't cut it off.) And why do they do this...because they don't care. They generally know their stuff, but are expensive. The design was pretty nice, and they coordinated with the subcontractors. The planning and work took forever. Details I requested were ignored. Some plants chosen were not correct for their location. Once the final payment was made, no one answered my calls. I am still trying to get some dead plants replaced. read more

We are unhappy with our experience working with LandArt. We worked with Daniel Rockwell of LandArt DBA FireSky on a multi-phased project in 2020. We completed the first phase of the project, which included fence replacement, gas line installation, and patio extension. We chose not to complete additional phases following repeated miscommunication, poor project management, inability to receive multiple quotes for subcontracted work, and dissatisfaction with the final work product. We've chosen to write this review following the receipt of an email from Mr. Rockwell that threatened legal action for nonpayment 30 days after final payment was remitted and cleared the bank. We do not recommend working with them. read more

I did a lot of research to find the right company to design and build my backyard. I eventually picked Landart. I am so lucky to have found them because they did an outstanding job. From planning to construction everything went smoothly. I couldn't be more happier with the results. It would cost you some bucks but it is well worth it . I am enjoying my backyard now. LandArt is the best in town for designing your yards. We had several companies come out and were sold on Ron and Chris from the first meeting even though they weren't the cheapest. They transformed our front yard into a beautiful masterpiece. People driving by stop to tell us how beautiful it is. It's been over a year already and any issues that have come up they have corrected. A company who stands by their word is a rarity these days!!! By the way the price wasn't that much higher than the other companies, but it would have looked like everyone else's yard and this is definitely unique! Love love love their work so if you're looking for a great company to work with please give them a call!!! We highly recommend them!!!! read more
