I'm so glad we found This and That Fence to get a second opinion: the price was lower than what the first person was quoting, but also the level of detail, responsiveness and service Paul provided was incredibly top notch. After walking the yard with us, we received a highly detailed quote of the work ahead (both drawings and written details). This was enough to give us confidence to move forward and schedule with Paul. Every step of the way leading up to the scheduled work date, Paul kept me informed and kept in the loop which I really appreciated. Paul also was able to adhere to what our HOA guidelines asked for, so that there was no risk to the job performed. He was also able to modify the quote based on a shared fence line with a neighbor, bringing the price down a bit more while still providing a good section of fence to be replaced for confidence. Paul finished in a solid two days and we are so amazed by the quality of the work his team completed for us! Thank you, Paul - we will highly recommend you to anyone in need!

Note to self, when you have a 20+ year old fence, it makes more sense to take the recommendation of an expert vs thinking your way is better. Jesse had recommended a brand new fence and at first pass, I wanted to save some money. Wrong decision. The weather always wins if you already have more nails in your old fence that there is wood. I love my new fence and I am ready to take on any upcoming weather. Plus the new wood looks nice. The crew is trustworthy, price is great. Quality is top notch and very quick. Thanks Jesse and team!

Florence Fence has completed four neighboring houses in this timeframe. They are unreliable and not showing up on time. Both gates that have been installed are sagging and look like crap. They left cement splatter all over the fence posts and the fence is still not done. We have been struggling to contain our dogs during this time frame and had to go buy an electric fence for the time being. Their excuse is there are schools up in Tahoe that needed to be finished first. Shouldn't those have been finished over summer. Maybe don't take the contract if you can't complete the work.
