The fee is not refundable but it is applied to the project if you accept their bid. We said no. There was no other company who came and talked to us about the project who asked for a fee just to come out. We eventually went with someone else. Grand Design seems like they may do good work but save your $100 and call someone else. If their bid is the highest bid, you've given them $100 for nothing. There are others equally as good. If you do hire them, then you're $100 closer to paying the total. It's a gamble with your money.

They worked around a couple of trees we wanted to keep, and cleaned them up nicely. Our entire irrigation system needed to be rebuilt as well. We worked primarily with Tracie (and Juan!) and they were amazing. Ultimately they were able to complete our job in less than a week, a month earlier than originally planned, and made substantial accommodations to work around the new road construction on our street. We're really happy with the new yard, and can't wait to see it fill out over the next couple of years. We highly recommend. I explained I had a leaking irrigation supply valve and wanted to get it fixed fast due to hot weather. Johnathan came by for estimate on Tuesday. He noticed the PVB was very old and valves rusted so that needed to be replaced also, but it could wait. I said I only want to cry once! So added that. I had an estimate later that evening and it was quite reasonable. I had mentioned I wanted an estimate for another little job and he said he would throw that in as a courtesy! Awesome! I accepted the quote and they came out that very Friday, dug a huge hole, replaced all the plumbing with commercial quality parts including the PVB, filled in and leveled, and had it all up and ready to go by 4PM! Glue needed to dry overnight, so next day fired it up and all good! Very pleased with the work and the quick response. They take Zelle and checks so none of this cash only thing so many contractors want to do. They handle lots of different services so I'm sure I'll be using them again soon!
