The paint was overall not bad, not perfect, but I feel the job was not to what I asked. I asked for the light and plug plates to be removed and the blinds. The light plates were not removed, The blinds were replaced backwards or the string cought in the gear. There are a few places a spot was missed, Paint was smeared on my mirrors, fictures had paint on them, paint splatter in one shower side walls, tape was left where the trim meets the floor and can't get it up. It don't appear I have 2 coats in certain areas as when I put pictures up seemed very thin compared to other rooms. Floor boards were not painted in one bathroom. The walls were white and when a darker color was painted I see areas where they should have sanded and smothed out the divits. or uneven parts as they stand out now. Other areas like the floor boards missed in one bathroom. At a distance it does look good, there is no paint on the ceiling, there is no area where it is very obvious it was a horrible job or sloppy (except where sanding was not done) The worse part of it was Very nice at first, very accomodating and assured the wants were going to be done. When the job was done, told to let him know if anything is missed and they will come back and fix it. Texted afterwards with things to fix, I then got a different attitude, and because he did something extra he didn't feel they had to come back, then just didn't respond to fix like the blinds and missed spots. read more

This was an awful experience for me. I hired Chris to do a job he told me it would take 10 days and that his crew could and would work well with the other trades. Both turned out to be false. His crew took over the entire house and caused such chaos that nobody could work with them. Once my white marble tile was laid his guys came in and dropped black paint everywhere. When my wood floors were finished they dropped white paint on them. They painted over pet damaged baseboards and cut Sheetrock carelessly. My hardware was lost and I had to eventually kick them off my job 7 days past the 10 he said with work unfinished. Chris asked my husband for money every week and once he was all but paid they simply stopped even trying. Every day we find more and more flaws and mistakes...save yourself the heartbreak. I highly recommend using The Wright Way Painting. I contacted Chris on Thursday for an estimate on the upstairs of my house. He was able to meet with me the next day (Friday). I was impressed with how responsive he was. He was able to come out and complete this project Monday. I love when I can get my project done asap! Lastly.. I recently had The Wright Way Painting paint and repair cracks in the entire home at a cost over $6300. There was a crack that resurfaced. I called and had them come back to repair the crack. Per the owner, Chris, they completed the repair. To my surprise, it appeared again. I called again called and Chris stated they had completed the repair. If they had done the repair the correct way, cutting out the that piece of drywall, and reinstalling new drywall at the crack; the crack would not have reappeared again. I brought this to Chris Wright attention. The photo shows the migrated crack in the same area as before the first and subsequent repair. I'm saddened as a repeat customer that the cost for staff returning was brought up versus correcting the repair and having a happy customer. I have moved on to another contractor for the correct repair. I will not use Wright Way Painting again. read more

Chris Wright and crew did an excellent job in repairing our water damaged kitchen ceiling. They were punctual and kept our kitchen clean by putting down plastic wrap for protection. They even tolerated our sometimes rowdy dogs! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took over a month from the time of the quote until the start of the project and it was difficult to get an estimated date. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Chris Wright is extremely unprofessional, dishonest and disorganized. If you like sloppy and unfinished work, and enjoy dealing with a man that is aggressive and deceitful then this is the company for you. Here's a list of reasons to avoid. 1: his team placed my blinds on my working stove. Major fire hazard. 2. All baseboards throughout the entire house were to be painted gray however they left every baseboard in all my closets completely UNPAINTED. 3. His team ruined my kitchen floors. They got paint everywhere and even ripped the vinyl. When brought to his attention, Chris justified the damage by saying that he knew I eventually would be replacing the kitchen floors so caution wasn't taken. 4. His team got paint all over my deck floor which I had just painted. To "remedy" this, he had his team repaint the deck floor but he made me pay for the paint. 5. His team dented my brand new unused refrigerator. When I brought it to his attention, he denied that it was his team even though they were the only ones in the kitchen. 6. He did not finish painting the deck. I wanted all the exposed wood painted, however he left the bottom unpainted. 7. He refused to paint in between the garage door despite me requesting to have it painted, so now you can see the previous color when you lift open the garage. 8. His team painted some of my roof jacks but left others unpainted. And then he tried to charge me extra when asked to have the others painted also. 9. His team parked their van in my drive way and it left oil stains on my concrete 10. His team played very loud music the entire time they worked at my house. 11. His team left a paint mark on my roof shingle 12. He posted a picture of my house on his personal social media without my authorization 13. His team just left one day and never returned. Then I see that I was charged for the services prior to me confirming satisfaction with the job 14. He charged my account the $1000 deposit I agreed upon; then I was later charged for an unauthorized $5000 fee and then they returned the $5000. And then finally charged the additional $8500 prior to me confirming my satisfaction with the job. EVERY single time I brought any issue to Chris's attention, he found a way to deny accountability. And he was very mean and aggressive in his communication with me. This was the worst experience of my life. There are so many other painting companies out there. Take my advice and use another company. read more

Chris and his crew went above and beyond for the interior painting of our rental home in Davis. There were several settling cracks in the drywall, some of which had been roughly patched over the years. This was also the first time the interior had been professionally painted since the home was built 29 years ago, so lots of scratches, nail holes, etc. Chris took the time and care to assess all of this and even found a water spot on the ceiling in the corner of the master closet. Thanks to Chris, we were able to get a roof leak fixed before it became a major issue. After they were finished, the home looked brand new. Walls, ceilings, doors, closets, windowsills were all flawless. They even replaced our dirty HVAC filter with a new one that was sitting in the garage that we hadn't gotten around to yet. They even moved their car when my neighbor got (unreasonably) upset that one of his workers parked on the street in front of his house.
