If it matters to you at all, just know this guy isn't vaccinated and says it's for "allergy" reasons but also has several family members who aren't and doesn't require it if his crew. So, I don't buy it. People who would fundamentally prefer to get the vaccine but have a legit medical reason why they can't are MORE careful to surround themselves with vaccinated people, not less. We should have asked before he showed up to do the work but we've had a lot of renovation work done lately and this is the first time this has happened. Honestly, even if he'd been up front about it at the outset we would have scheduled on a day when we and our under 12 y/o kid could have been out of the house but now I just don't trust him, his crew, or his judgment. I don't care how good his work is and I'll never find out. Per his response: yes he did. But at the end of the day I don't really care. His family isn't who's going to be in my house and he shares just as much air with his crew as with his family all day so this isn't really a hair worth splitting. read more

Gargie's the best. My tenant had rust around the drain of her tub and even though she was cool with it, I don't think as a landlord that is right. I first looked at professional bath remodelers, but they just kept saying that I should remodel. We were already having serious pandemic problem woes and that was not an option at this time. I wrote some handymen and all of them hemmed and hawed about what the fix was and pricing. Many said they weren't sure if they could fix it (even though I sent them clear pictures) and said that it would cost, at least, $300 and then after they looked at it it would probably cost a lot more. No warranty. One of the honest handyman, admitted that no one can patch that well and it would just start rusting again within the year. Then I saw Discovery Coatings. For $500 he sealed the whole tub and gave me a long warranty. Gargie and his crew were professional and sweet and the tub looked like it was brand new. I'm now kicking myself about another tub that he could have easily fixed at a third of the price, but I can't get out of the contract. Killing me! See 2/22/18 for my first (glowing) review. I'm writing another because I needed two small chips and a small scratch repaired in the tub he resurfaced. I called Gargi and he schedule a time to come out. He expected it would take under 30 minutes. He worked for close to an hour and a half.
