    Worst orange chicken ever

This place serves the worst orange chicken. It's mushy it's wet it's nasty. It doesn't even look like chicken.

This is food from the teriyaki chicken bowl w/chow mein. We put it on a plate for our girls (young kids)
    Sarah M.

Food was very average. The employees were very nice and friendly so that is always a plus. I wish I actually would have taken a picture of the orange chicken because my husband commented on greasy it looked behind the glass counter. He usually always orders orange chicken and wanted some but did not because of the way it looked. I actually love Kung pao chicken but didn't order that either because it did not look very appealing. I ended up ordering half and half (rice and chow mein) with beef/broccoli and "spicy" chicken, which actually was almost like a different version of Kung pao in my opinion. It was pretty good and it actually was pretty spicy, it had a nice little kick. We also got egg rolls- they were average. People kept coming in and out ordering, so you can tell it's quite popular despite being right next to a Panda Express. My husband mentioned he'd rather go to Panda next time because he felt like the food is more fresh there. We like supporting local businesses so sad to say we might not be back again :(

Good spot for some quick Chinese food. Good flavor and portions are good. Nothing fancy just basic but sometimes that all you need. I had the Teriyaki Chicken, BBQ Chicken with chow mein and fried rice which is good. My Wife had the Sesame Chicken, Kung Pao with Chow mein and fried rice another good choice. We also had an order of egg rolls and cream cheese wontons that we enjoyed.

We've been coming to the Wok experience for years and we have always gotten fresh and tasty food! It's unfortunate that others have had bad experiences as it's a great affordable option for Asian style foods. "Chinese food" authenticity obviously is arguable, as it is fast food Chinese food, not Chinese fine cuisine restaurant food. Luckily the Wok experience doesn't claim to be authentic other than wok cooked Asian style food. We love the dishes and have favorites such as teriyaki chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and sesame chicken. Never soggy and always fresh. I always order the cream cheese wontons and egg rolls, always crispy and tasty! The staff is cordial, there sometimes maybe a language difference but in all fairness they are not in any way rude. The dining area is clean, has plenty of seating of tables and bar top tables as well. Give them a shot, they are definitely worth it!

    Assorted noodle soup

Don't know why this place has a lot of bad reviews but it's actually THE BEST. Love their service , ladies are so nice , food amount is great, food in general is good. I love their entrees and the assorted noodle soup.

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception. (She was white and had unique, colorful, round glasses)

It's flavor is for those who like panda express but want restaurant service. The Tea duck $23 was horrible. It came out dry and I couldn't tell the meat from char bones. I only had a short time to eat so had not time to send it back (I should have). It doesn't even look the picture and came out as if it was just reheated/recooked. The eggplant garlic lunch special was decent and hot/sour soup with fried rice tasted fine. Spring roll was ok, nothing I would rave about. There's special for dine in, 2 for 1 but it has to be entrees and NO lunch special. Female staff was friendly and quick. The service was fine the food was the problem. Duck was so bad, I have no idea how an entrée this bad could get 4.9 on reviews. It also says traditional Chinese. Unsure what I got but it wasn't Chinese. The Peking duck served in Gardenia (Sea Empress Seafood) is much better. Still can't beat regular duck from Sam Woo in Valley. It seems they can do carbs with sauce well but anything that has meat seems to be a disaster.

I've grown up in the area and have branched out to living all over california. However the sense of entitlement the locals here have is insane. China Town Fast Food has delivered good tasting AND affordable Chinese-American food for quite some time! The portions are the best bang for your buck in the Loma Linda area, and the staff is also very nice. There are language barriers to some extent and a plastic wall that could make it hard to hear for both the customer and the server, but pointing fingers at the food and putting extra emphasis on enunciating my words have always helped, and if they can't hear, both the customer and the server can go to the side to hear each other clearly. The place is also small and can easily get packed during the rush hour. There are usually only TWO people in the front and a cook in the back, so I believe it's very key to have patience for when you go out during these hours. In all forms of service whether it be food, retail, etc. please remember that they are still human and working at a pace that tries to accommodate for us. In hours closer to closing, it does slow down and it does get quieter, I believe those are the best times to go when it's not so busy. Food wise, I'd highly recommend getting their Orange Chicken and House Special Fried Chicken. The orange chicken has a nice bit of sweetness, tangyness, and crunch to each bite and the House Special is just that... it's SPECIAL! Freshly fried chicken, usually about a 10-15 minute wait. Paired with a side of a garlicky, green oniony, shoyu sauce helps create just the perfect bite when combined with some rice. Their teriyaki chicken is also very delicious with a beautiful char on the outside. It's not your typical, Seattle, Japanese-esque teriyaki chicken, but it will taste very good! I hope this review helps with all the negative feedback I'm seeing and introduces you all to a classic spot to check out. Enjoy the food and have a great day!
