Seems like a great crowd of regulars also friendly and welcoming and so the vibe is just what I need when I want to take a few minutes after work. There's a big selection of beer of all kinds on tap, ciders, and other beverages including Abita Root Beer and even kombucha! I had the Abita Root Beer...haven't tried the kombucha. LOL! I'm a fan of Hazy and liked what I had. Aside from the beverages and people, there are board games to play, they have had DJ's playing good music, and it looks like they have live music, trivia nights, and other events to entice people in. He was cooking and taking orders and delivering food to tables. Needless to say he was extremely busy, especially with the event happening at the moment he said they're completely out of french fries because he had to go back and cut more potatoes. All I heard is that fries are made from potatoes in house. They were also out of onion rings for the same reason so we ordered two orders of tots and three dogs Chicago dogs that is it wasn't cheap food but it sure was delicious. We even treated to a order of fries on the house since he got some more prepared like I was super friendly. In fact, we ran into him the next day at another establishment and he remembered us. Love the small town feel love the college feel loved the food loved everything about this place. Looking forward to visiting on a day that it's less crowded in town.

Food truck available, see menu, but we were scheduled to go to Smalls Fusion Comfort (another 5 star review). I am so glad I did not get fries here and ruin my dinner at Smalls. Ambiance - Good size location. Less activities than Arcata. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Bar and table seating. Plenty of mall parking. Well, we also got here early and for HH. HH is $1 off each pint. Service - Counter service. Fast and friendly. Tasters offered if you are unfamiliar with their beers. Price - $13+ tip. Expensive for HH, but worth it for good beer!
