The Wiltern is a beautiful, nostalgic old Hollywood feel venue. We've been there for a few concerts, recently for the Calum Scott tour. It's an intimate venue that has multiple bars upstairs outside and inside the general admission area and downstairs. This makes it convenient so you're not having to wait in line too long or miss parts of the concert. We were in the general admissions, standing area. No matter where you are standing/seated, acoustics is good. Parking was easy, close and prices reasonable ($20) compared to today's going rates. read more

My experience from start to finish was pretty great. I arrived 1 hour before doors opened. Parked at the Wiltern garage next right next to the building, which shares a lot with Ralph's. Parking was very smooth & quick, totally worth the $32. Bag check was quick and very thorough. The interior of the building was beautiful and unique, definitely a nice change. Bathrooms were super clean. Water stations set up everywhere. Nice bars and sit down areas. I got a seat on the Lodge and it was the best decision I ever made. The views were fantastic and the seats were super comfy. I was relieved to not be standing for hours. I got out very quickly and was able to get out of the parking smoothly. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would love to attend another show at this venue. read more

first time at the wiltern and it's a pretty nice venue! the area is great with lots of businesses if you're ever in need of finding places to go to before coming to the venue. there's a few parking options around the venue that might cost more the closer you are to the venue but spothero might show some options that are walking distance to the venue. the theater kind of has strict bag policies as they took away my sharpies but the bag sizing is pretty generous. the bathrooms were spacious and lines moved quickly. they had a staff member making sure toilet paper and toilet seat covers were stocked. i had top mezzanine balcony seats which were far but the view wasn't bad at all. i had trouble finding the row i needed to go to since the seats are old and the letters are written small on the seat handles but thankfully there's staff guiding people. i also liked how the venue has water dispensers for people if needed. read more

Honestly such a pretty concert venue. Parking was simple & so close by. It was also pretty quick to get inside. I love the little marquee sign they had for photos and inside the main room itself, it was such a vibe. It was my first time coming here for a show & I really enjoyed it. Venue - older type of seating but it's a nice vibe - intimate venue so pretty much every seat is pretty good Food -there is room for growth here. The selection was just okay 2.5/5. The old building is the only thing charming about this place. Came here to see Hayley Williams on May 15th. The security staff were so unprofessional. Having people jump from one queue to another, just to be sent back to the same queue, and having nowhere to put the contents of your pockets, that they tell you to empty. The drinks are weak and expensive. I ordered a Makers and Coke and they tried to pour me a Pepsi and Bullet. Not for $28 dollars you won't... Immediately asked them to stop. Pepsi is NOT the same as Coke. Bullet is NOT the same as Makers Mark. Stuck with a Tito's and cranberry, which I'm wondering if there was even any Tito's in. The venue itself is terribly lit and the seat numbers, aisle numbers are on extremely small metal placards, which are of no use if someone is sitting on them. There is no signage indicating the rows at all. So, good luck... The cherry on top of this hot mess is that it's literally a hot mess. The venue is as hot as a sauna. Could not wait to leave. NEVER AGAIN. Nice looking building... But that's about the only redeeming aspect. read more

I will not be back to this Venue. I went to see Leon Thomas, who was great! But the building is historical so it doesn't have an elevator and I needed one. Bad back & knees. I also made the mistake of buying tickets in the first row of the Loge balcony. The seat is so close to the wall that I couldn't stretch my legs. It was terrible, I couldn't even stay til the end. I have lived all my life down the street from the Wiltern and have missed many opportunities with bands I knew or wanted to see play here. I finally came here because my friend came up on some free tickets from a friend for a band I have never heard of. I was happy to finally walk inside and see the architecture, the old school décor and how the main stage looked like. We sat on the upper balcony and we could still see and enjoy ourselves thoroughly. I loved the upper lounge area. A good place to hang out and drink with friends. There are about three places to get a drinks up there. I loved just seeing everything inside the venue. If you like a band that is playing here, don't miss out and just watch them here! read more

Okay, this venue was EVERYTHING!!!!! I was lucky enough to score tickets to Lady Gaga's MAYHEM: REQUIEM. Since it was my first time at The Wiltern, I truly didn't know what to expect but WOW. It completely exceeded every expectation!!! The Wiltern has such a stunning old Hollywood vibe that instantly made the experience feel special and iconic. The architecture alone is breathtaking, like are you kidding me?!!! The event I attended was a live taping with a phone-free policy, so no photos or video recordings were allowed; but honestly? That made the night even more magical. Being fully present, soaking in the moment with my friend and connecting with all the amazing Little Monsters in the pit was unforgettable. Everything about this night felt special, from the energy of the crowd to the atmosphere of the venue. 10/10 location and 100000000000/10 on the experience. I can't wait to come back! read more

Not a fan of how GA works as it's literally just glorified pit. Security squishes so much people into one area and it feels like a fire hazard. I've been coming to multiple shows and the only time it didn't feel as crowded was when a show wasn't oversold. Venue overall is nice with cool decor. I've been to a few shows and events here now over the years. I can say that every experience has been great. It's an awesome venue with what seems like a lot of history. In the past year I did both a concert and a comedy show. Although the concert was standing while still in the rows with chairs, it was still a really good time. And the comedy show, even from far back orchestra, was awesome. Acoustics are great. I love the decor. The bartenders are friendly. And they have good options for both food and drink (basic food but it's nice to have more than chips). Can't wait to go to another event here! (Only qualm is the parking... I don't want to spend $30 on lot parking so I always try for street and it's really hard around there). read more

A lovely venue with plenty of history behind it, but also lacking in several ways - especially when it comes to entry. Yes, I know that there's only so much that can be done with such a historic venue when it comes to capacity and its entry procedures...but I just honestly find it SO ridiculous. The line always wraps ALL the way around the block and it becomes such a mess. Once inside, the venue itself is very lovely and I love the vibes within. Everything DOES feel a bit tight and cramped, but I suppose that's the trade-off for being in a historic building. Nevertheless, I enjoy the set-up & it's relatively easy to find good vantage points for viewing a show from general admission. There's a few food items such as popcorn in concessions - I rarely get anything other than perhaps a beer or cocktail when attending a show, however. First time at the wiltern for book tour event for Kamala Harris. I'm not the type of person to frequent Ktown because the parking and traffic is overwhelming, but this location has no parking and has random unsecured lots with an uncharged rate to park. Once we approached the venue there were signs posted about no bags, however it was never frequently mentioned. My friend had a clear bag to adhere to clear bag policy but they told her it was still large and needed to pay a fee to check the bag or walk back to her car. Once inside, the venue was beautiful and the event was well organized. Staff didn't really welcome people but they weren't rude. Cocktails were strong and delicious but the seats are oddly uncomfortable. There is no leg room and the seats are so close you can't even comfortably enjoy your beverage in your seat. Because the cup holders aren't adjustable, if you're over 5'7, your knees will be pressing into them. If you can't get floor seating, I wouldn't bother going to this venue. Now that I have been, I won't be coming back for any concerts. read more

Parking structure behind the theater was charging $40. The lot a block away was charging $10. There was metered street parking if you're lucky. Our ticketed time was 7pm. We started lining up at 6pm on Wilshire Blvd. There were people selling hot dogs. They don't let people in before the ticketed time. We got an hour to roam around and purchase merchandise before the show started at 8pm. Place was dated, but clean. It was a small venue and got crowded quickly. There was a bar on every floor. There was a good amount of staff. The seats were old and small, but cushioned. Didn't like that other patrons were vaping and talking during the show. The Wiltern is one of the staples of LA's music scene. I have seen many shows here, ranging from Dark Star Orchestra to Sheng Wang's comedy tour, and each visit feels truly special. The architecture of this historic theater is stunning, and the sight lines and sound are quite good no matter where you are in the venue. The staff here are always very professional--I have never had a bad experience during the many times I have been here. There are multiple lounge/hang areas throughout the venue too to hang with friends with some drinks or popcorn before the show starts. There are plentiful bathrooms throughout as well so you never am stuck in lines during the show. The venue itself is quite easy to get to, with a parking lot nearby and easy access to many Metro buses and the D line. The only thing I wish they'd improve is line management before the show--multiple times the line stretches multiple blocks with confusing gaps to let cars go into the lots that cause a lot of people to cut. It'd be great if this got more under control. Otherwise, definitely come see The Wiltern at least once if you can! read more

Recently came here to watch a band that I grew up listening to as a kid. This time around, I was eight months pregnant. I was already a bit hesitant to go to the show as my body has been telling me to slow down, but the staff at the show did an exceptional job making me feel as comfortable as I could. From giving me accessibility access, to providing me with a private bathroom, and giving my earplugs, I felt comfortable here. The venue is great. It's located in KTOWN. I think the con is the parking here. It's next to the Ralph's grocery store and cost me $40! Overall, a great place to catch a show still though. read more

Went to see The Fray on 8/24/25 at night. It was a smooth process with the check-in. We had general admission, but the layout was great. You can easily go out to the bathroom if needed or buy drinks. This is a great venue for small concerts. Bathrooms: located on the bottom floor, so you will have to go through the stairs Parking: We didn't have to park but there are garages nearby. We parked in the lot next door where Ralph's is located. I liked the aesthetic of the old vintage vibes the theater gave off. And it doesn't help when the combination of body heat and weed aroma mix because it made me nauseous - but overall I still had fun! I would highly recommend if the bar had water available as well. We returned to The Wiltern to see James Arthur for his Pisces World Tour, and this show held extra meaning for us--he sings our wedding song, so hearing it live together was a moment we'll never forget. This was our second time at The Wiltern, but the first time we've done general admission on the floor (last time we were seated upstairs). It was great to experience the venue from a different perspective--more immersive, a little more personal, and surprisingly comfortable. We found $25 parking directly across the street and got inside quickly after security. We missed the opener (The Army, The Navy) but made our way into GA and settled into a spot with enough space to move around. A friendly security officer near the sound control area gave us a heads-up that we were in a great spot and even mentioned that the production manager was surprising fans with upgrades to the front. We didn't get picked, but it was still cool to be in the loop. The air conditioning was working well, which made for a really pleasant experience on a crowded floor. When our wedding song played, we got to dance together--and that same awesome security guard even recorded the moment for us without us even asking. One of those simple gestures that made the night extra special. Drinks were fairly priced for a concert, and bars were easy to access throughout the venue. There were even photo op spots for keepsakes, which we appreciated. Downstairs restrooms were clean and spacious (a win at any concert venue), and there's a seating area with tables and food service, too--not to mention the unexpected bonus: free popcorn! We already liked this venue after our first visit, but after experiencing the GA floor and that incredible performance from James Arthur, we're even more impressed. A group of us saw Wolf Alice here last month. We prepaid for parking but had difficulty locating the lot. There could have been instructions included in one of the many emails I received about the upcoming show. The facility is old but in an historic way. Charming. They added cup holders somewhere along the way but in the upstairs balcony it leaves little room for your knees. The seats are incredibly small. And it was uncomfortably warm. I really should come here more often. A couple things: parking in this area is a nightmare so find the cheapest lot instead of driving around looking for a spot. Or uber. We parked right across the street. My first time here was eons ago. I remember seeing Adele while she was touring 19. I digress JoJo was supposed to be on tour 5 years ago, but the rona happened. The tour happened 5 years later. She sold out her show on a Tuesday! I suggest eating before you get here. Their food selection is like if you're at a HS football game. My friend and I came to see Jimmy Carr at the Wiltern. We both hadn't been here before but it reminds me of an older theater where we are from in Bakersfield. We didn't try any food here but they were selling food and drinks at the Wiltern. The staff we talked to were kind and helpful. The inside of the theatre is beautiful and the only complaint I have is my seat was old and lumpy. I felt like if I adjusted too much it would fall off its hinges and I'm not that heavy but the show was great. The sound was great. Most of the audience was great. We had a fun time. read more

Was excited to see one of my favorite bands play the classic LA venue, the Wiltern on a Saturday night. The staff is always pretty efficient. My friends opted to get the cocktails in shakers and thought they were good for the price. It was my first time sitting up in the loge/ balcony. While the seats were comfy, I don't think I'll be opting to sit up there again for any rock shows. While the band plays more mellow rock, there were two songs that people kinda bobbed to that made the area feel like it was bouncing. Other note that another friend agreed based on a different show, the opening band's audio mix seemed off with the drums overshadowing the vocals. This wasn't an issue for the headliner. read more

So we were extremely excited about Nate Jackson's show at The Wiltern on Saturday night. We've been looking forward to it since we got the tickets in February. We arrived just after the doors opened and got in with no issues. Security was friendly and directed us without being rude. I was carrying a small wristlet and they did check every part and wouldn't allow my sharpie in which I always carry just because. Apparently they've had issues with people tagging walls of this vintage theatre. The lobby was beautiful! The modern additions were minimal. The theatre was well maintained and dripping in history. The art deco architecture is gorgeous. An usher escorted us to our seats which were on the floor, house right and in the middle. We then went in search for cocktails and merchandise. There were two well manned bars in the lobby so the wait time was minimal. The bartenders poured the perfect stiff cocktails. Couldn't ask for more. The merch table was empty which meant we were able to take our time and check out multiple shirts. We both bought the camo hoodie which was the best merch for a hoodie lover. Now for the show...we were pleasantly surprised to see it started in time. The host came out to pump up the audience which would have worked for everyone if we could have heard him. I'm not sure if it was the sound or the comedians or both but you could see the comedians clearly lowering their voices including Nate Jackson. It was frustrating and after five opening acts when Nate came out and did the same my bestie usually the patient one was done so we left. So disappointing. read more

I'm really torn about my review. What a gorgeous space to see a show. However, the security here made the concert living hell for me. I understand that security on high alert (even if it's intense) can potentially keep people safe. It just seems a little bit overkill. I poured out a Tylenol bottle into my partner's hand to grab a different medication I threw in the same bottle to save space. We had our phone flash light out to see where it was. A security guard came over with a flashlight and demanded I come with him and to put the meds back in the bottle. He pulled me to a tiny security office all the way in the front of the venue and demanded to know why I dumped the bottle out. I was honest that I had another medication inside (medical cannabis edible) and he continued to insist I had possibly taken a bunch of pills. I thought he was concerned I had hard drugs but he was just checking I hadn't downed a ton of Xanax or something I guess? After they were confirmed to be Tylenol, he still treated me pretty rudely like I had done something wrong. He then made me check the medication at the coat check even though the other security officers weren't sweating it. Again, I understand this type of vigilance can protect concert goers, but his attitude felt overbearing. Additionally, the security in the disability section was also being overbearing. We weren't allowed to stand whatsoever. This is understandable - when there's someone behind you who may need to sit. However, there were only empty chairs behind me. He insisted I move off to the side and continued to insist it wasn't far enough off to the side. A lady felt bad for me and let me stand in front of her because I couldn't see due to my height. The space they wanted us to stand had a bad view of the stage and had us back to back like sardines. It was a little ridiculous, as there were plenty of other spots to stand off to the side that wouldn't impede the ghost's view behind me. However I had a photographer for the band blocking my view for quite a few songs, so I suppose theoretically blocking people's would-be view if they were sitting there is a worse offense than actually blocking their view. At this point, I'd been accosted by security so much that I couldn't fully enjoy the show. This sadly seems to be a trend at the Wiltern. The venue is absolutely beautiful, though. This was my first time at this theater and I have a couple of gripes! There is no lighting going up and down the stairs, you have to focus on the white duct tape that's on the ground to make sure you don't fall. Also there are no clear seat numbers. I love an old theater and I can tell a lot of it is original, including the old school seating, but if you can put duct tape on the ground you can put tiny light up plaques with seat and row numbers so people can efficiently find their seats without having to interrupt the whole show. We were given attitude asking the docents where to go several times. We ended up having to interrupt the crowd around us to find our seats and everyone around us ended up being in the wrong seat as well. There's gotta be a better way to do this! read more

My friends and I have been here a couple of times for the Bruno Major and grentperez concerts. Since it's a historic venue, the architecture and interior design take you to a different atmosphere when you enter The Wiltern. It is a decent-sized venue with plenty of standing areas and seated areas. I've had experience with both, and they're both nice, depending on how you're feeling and how you like to enjoy your concert. The view is decent pretty much anywhere, but as a short girly, I'd like to be higher up to see better. Service-wise, I've had a wonderful experience. Everyone seems to be lovely, welcoming, and helpful! Plenty of bar areas for you to get your refreshments, too. For parking, it wasn't too hard to find because you can either find street parking or park at nearby structures. Definitely go early enough to park and walk over for the security check and such! If you want a quick and easy underground parking spot, there's a premier parking and club access option through The Wiltern. A plus about this venue is that it's in Ktown, so there are plenty of delicious food options you can explore in the area before or after the concert. Enjoy your concert experience! read more

Most of the time we've had general admission but a few times we chose seats in the mezzanine. The Wiltern has a beautiful lobby & they do sell food & drinks at a "theatre pricing." What I like about the Wiltern is there is a lot of seating and hangout areas around the lobby before you get into the theatre. This is cool because you can hangout and have a cocktail/snack before you go watch the experience you came for. The staff is always kind at the Wiltern. They always know what time each band starts & what time they end. The merch is on a good spot /not too overly saturated in the hallway. The only thing I will say is the sound could be improved at the Wiltern. I won't stop going to shows at the Wiltern but I would say compared to places like the Fonda, Palladium & the El Rey the sound could be a bit better. The lighting is great & the atmosphere of the theatre is cool because there are different levels making every spot the stand a good spot. Always a great time at this theater for good music! The venue is an architectural marvel. It's so gorgeous inside! The ushers were helpful directing us toward our seats. The line was not chaotic at all. If anything, it felt like we were lined up for church! At the start of the performance, a lady with the most beautiful head of hair sat in front of me, but her head obscured my view of the entire stage. It wasn't her fault at all but I needed to get the full experience of seeing the performers. After all, I paid full price. So I went to Guest Services to ask if they could help me. I showed them a photo of what little I could see from my seat and they immediately went to work to solve my issue. When I say they went above and beyond, I mean it. They felt so bad for me they upgraded our seats to an area where I could see everything even if a 7 foot dude sat in front of me. Shoutout to Leo for bending over backwards for me and my husband. We truly appreciate you! And fervently hope you win the lottery someday! The rest of my experience was phenomenal. If you run your business in a way that makes your employees happy, they'll take care of your customers. I found out for myself how true that is because I felt cared for by the Wiltern staff. They are the most awesome aspect of this venue. Can't wait to return. read more

Location 3: Corner of Wilshire and Western (hence the name Wiltern), in busy K-Town area of Los Angeles. Very limited street parking and plenty of paid parking lots. The theater does not have their own self-parking or valet. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurant around and some awesome Korean food! Venue 3: Historic, nostalgic Art Deco venue built in 1931. Well-kept. Medium-sized venue for up to four thousand people depending on seating, on three levels; Floor, Loge and Mezzanine. Main floor is convertible to standing room only for General Admission (GA) events. Floor seats are literally portable chairs ziplocked together. They have great legroom but very little elbow room. The Loge and Mezzanine feature proper upholstered theater-style seats and are fairly comfortable. Given the size of the venue almost all Loge and Mezzanine seats are good seats. Service 2: Staff were friendly and polite but the line to go through security and get in wraps around the block and it can take a very long time to get in. Food & Drinks N/A: I did not have any food or drinks there. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby :) The last word 3: Nice historic venue to enjoy some good entertainment at. I visit often and will visit again. read more
