I truly cannot say enough about how impressed I am by the Wheel House. FINALLY! a BMX/Skate/Scooter shop that understands what their customers want and are up-to-date with current trends and merchandise. I am happy to make the drive from Reno to support a local shop that honestly takes pride in what they are doing. Perhaps the most impressive part of the Wheel House is their passion and dedication for the sports that the place embodies. The customer service and friendliness of the staff is second to none. Even the horse shaped dog that greets you at the door is as friendly as it gets. The guy I was talking to about bike parts was very interested in knowing what kinds of brands and stuff that me and my friends would be interested in them carrying. This type of dialog was super cool. Its not often that you go into a store and they ask for suggestions and tell you about how they want to improve and base their products around every customer that walks through the door. If only every shop had this level of customer service, the world would truly be a better place. The shop is huge and easy to navigate. They have designated sections for bikes, scooters, skateboards, and apparel. There is even a mini ramp and work out area for kids to stay active and engaged when the weather is less than favorable. The Wheel House has everything that you could want and more! These guys are doing so much for the community and I would recommend them over all others. If you have kids that are into action sports or you are into them yourself, I promise this is the place that you want to go to. read more

Amazing prices. The owner is extremely personalable and hosts community events. He only hires kids who need it which is amazing and helps bring work ethic and love back into the young bmx, skate, and scooter community. I bought a knee scooter off of Amazon because I am currently unable to use my ankle. The wheels on it are just hard rubber and would stop and flip the scooter over the smallest of pebbles or debris on sidewalks and in parking lots. I went to the Wheel House and asked the gentlemen if they had anything that would work on the front of the scooter. After much digging to figure out a combination they were able to put actual tires on it! It works amazingly now and at a great price! Thank you so much guys!!! read more

Have gone twice during business hours on Saturday, they are never there. Always a note taped to the door they are off somewhere else and we are driving from a couple towns away just to go here. If you are going to be closed Saturday then just put that as your regular hours, so people aren't wasting their time and gas. read more

Great store. Picked up a cult bike there for my 12 year old son and he is loving it. A little bit pricey but in the end its worth it! I got to see my son do his first trick! Overall i give it a 10/10 they have s huge selection of bikes,scooters,skateboard clothing and much more!!! read more

Great place to get a personal deck although from looking around you can tell they have a little of everything from BMX to Scooters. Teek is super helpful and approachable. Helped me build the right deck for me in about an hour, even though I didn't know exactly what I was looking for. Great selection of brands for both decks and clothing. I met Teak the manager, he was SUPER friendly and approachable. Very helpful. They have an indoor half pipe there, but it is not open to the public which was a huge turn off for me. It is only for "team riders". If they made it open to the public to ride it and advertised that, they would get a ton of business there. Limited amount of gear, boards, scooters and apparel but it is all legit and quality stuff. Overall I liked the store, but if you don't know where to look, you'll drive right passed it. read more

First heard about they guys from my kids. They visited our skate park in Reno and my kids couldn't stop talking about going to their shop. A few weeks later went to a comp they put on. Met the owner and employees and what a great crew. Went to the shop now a few times and their customer service is deserves 10 stars.. Stayed an hour after closing time to help us out. This is a review from around April. I was SO impressed with this place. My 3 daughters play for Carson Junior Victory Rollers. When it was time to buy pads we were referred here. I live in Reno and called ahead to make sure they were open, drove the 30 minutes and when I walked inside was greeted by the guy I talked to on the phone. He took the time to fit each of my daughters for wrist guards, elbow and knee pads so that they would be as safe as possible. I really feel he went above and beyond. Also the prices were very reasonable, and they gave my daughters free t-shirts and stickers that they proudly rock on their helmets. You know kids grows so fast and my girls are just about ready for new pads, there is no where else I would go. They truly are excellent. read more
