Had all four tires replaced here and had a great experience. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with. They got everything done quickly, kept the whole process simple, and just made everything really easy. More than anything, I appreciated how well I was treated. I'll definitely be back and would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation. Really good people and great service. read more

Phenomenal quality. Just as good as OEM. I came in with 4 bent wheels and 2 cracked rims. Left with my vehicle driving with perfect balance, exceptional ride quality. The service provided is so much cheaper than purchasing new wheels. However, you will be saving thousands of dollars using this service rather than purchasing new wheels. I was absolutely floored by the level of service provided. I highly recommend this place due to the value and the quality of service! read more

I don't usually post reviews. I do so only when a business exceeds my expectations (which are abnormally high). Phil and his group did an outstanding job on my daughter's 2013 Volkswagen Beetle 4 rims. They were curb rashed, OEM paint peeling and looked like the 12 year 100k mile wheels from a young lady's first car. When I picked them up (new tires mounted and balanced), I was amazed how perfect they looked... brand new! Phil during the whole process communicated well, was personable and just an outstanding person to deal with. If you are looking to have your wheels refinished from a quality place at a reasonable price, call Phil. You won't be sorry. read more

So I started out going to Costco for tire rotation, when I made appointment I ended up waiting 1 hour for them to tell me they couldn't rotate tire, because there was to much ware I needed a alignment. Then they said I had a nail in my rear tire that was new , Now I needed a new tire they couldn't plug it . they had to order it (stay with me it gets crazy) when they told me my appointment was Sunday 11:00 , then they said front tire was flat so I told them to replace it but they didn't have a tire this is crazy, they took the bad tire from rear and put it in front . good luck north Plainfield l read more

I came here with high expectations after reading the reviews, although was highly disappointed and lied to. I brought my Mustang here for a wheel repair after hitting a pothole, the damage was a visible dent around the lip. Upon arriving one of the guys greeted me and asked to "inspect" the damage, upon "inspecting" (he only took a quick look at it) he stated that the wheel was cracked and it was not repairable and said they cannot help me. I then left and drove to a DIFFERENT PLACE and they were able to asses the damage and even repaired the wheel while I waited there, the wheel came out spotless like nothing happened, and was way cheaper then what THE WHEEL RIM GROUP had quoted me of $200. Staff seems incompetent and lacks the basic skills for a job like this. read more

Quality work. Analyzed four wheels on my BMW 335, unbent two of them, re-balanced another two, all with professionalism and courtesy.

Great service! Dealership told me 2 the rims were bent and showed me when it was on the lift (they wobbled). Wanted to charge me $$$$$ to reshape them and that it would take 2 days, no loaner provided. I searched, came upon the Wheel Rim Group, called for a quote and to confirm the price. Made an appt for 9am, took my car in a week later, originally told me each rim would take about 1.5hrs. They were done in under an hour! Plus, I had brought 2 new tires and replaced the old ones for me. I drove home, did 80 on the highway, NO MORE SHAKE. The ride was smooth again. They were great and fast. I definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

As a small biz consultant for over 40 years, I became highly impressed with my recent experience at Wheel Rim Group. Phil? was the person with whom I encountered on the customer interaction side. Not just one but 2 wheels had been effected. The bottom line result came as I drove away after completing a very fair transaction. My 115000 mile, 2014 Audi A6 felt like it had 6 miles on the odometer, PERFECT, so smooth, like butter, read more

There I was, out in the war torn roads of N. Jersey/NYC just trying to make my way home. You know them well, these so called roads...unforgiving, merciless, bone rattling. Coming back from an amazing meal in NYC with friends, there it was laying in wait...the pothole that would launch a YELP review! Dark and deep enough to swallow a man's soul. That's exactly what it felt like when my unstoppable force met this immovable hole! I swear it felt like I drove straight into a curb and I imagined my car snapping in half like a Lego toy being discarded by an angry child or the front end simply shattering. After the gasp of OMG...there it was, the unceasing vibration. I thought I may have thrown a belt inside of the tires so I went to get them checked and as they were balancing them I was told "both of your front wheels are bent". I was sick inside because I looked everywhere online and the cheapest replacement I could find were used at $750 each! (BMW 19" Double Spoke 351M Chrome Alloy M5 OEM wheels) Enter Rich from The Wheel Rim Group. I called and told him what happened and we set an appointment for the next day at 8:00 a.m. He told me it would take about an hour and when he returned 55 minutes later, he says simply... "you're good to go!" I had seen the wobble prior to the straightening on the tire machine, so I asked Rich "how straight are they??" He answers modestly, "they are within spec, but you won't feel any shaking, wobbling or vibrating at all." HOLY COW! Really I thought?? So, if you have read my other reviews you know I am pretty exacting and fastidious when it comes to detail. So I went out to find this vibration, shake or shimmy. I drove and drove and actually started chuckling at 1 point because they felt like brand new wheels again! The price??? Beyond reasonable! So what I'm saying, if I'm saying anything is, if your baby has experienced the same demoralizing assault as my baby did... go see Rich and his cadre of Wheel Wizard professionals! I know you will be as pleased with the results as I am! Thanks Rich! read more

Fantastic service! Would highly recommend. Gave me an estimate of 2 days based on what I told them and then did the work in 45 minutes charging me much less after taking the Damaged wheel off. read more

Bent a rim on my 2018 Honda Accord Sport on RT 22 and needed to get it fixed. Made an appointment with The Wheel Rim Group and in less than an hour after arrival, I was on my way with a fixed rim. Seems to have been fixed correctly, as I'm not feeling the shake while driving any longer. I'm satisfied and would recommend read more

They straightened and painted/refinished 4 oem wheels for my m235i. 3 of the wheels were seriously bent and made the car vibrate a lot at speed. All of the wheels had significant curb rash and various defects in paint and clear coat. For $160/wheel, they did all of this and remounted and balanced the tires. Ended up costing maybe $150 more than my mechanic quoted me just to straighten the wheels and rebalance. Refinish job is quite good. It's probably shy of what you'd want for the concourse at a car show (there is some orange peel and one minor defect in the paint, but unless you're staring at the wheels from less than 2-3 feet away, they look brand new), but really quite good deal for the money. Most importantly, car now drives like it is new. read more

Rich got me out of there in about an hour today fixing my rim that was very bent from hitting a pothole. No refinishing, just fixing the bent wheel. No more shaking from that rim. Great experience. Highly recommend for the quick fix. If I ever need wheels refinished I will make an appointment with Rich to them done. read more

Wow - customer service and pride in one's work still exists. Had some pretty nasty curb rash on my 4 alloy rims (bad manufacturer design / not bad driving ha ha). Rich did miracles and completely fixed the damage - and then repainted the rims in 48 hours. Unfortunately a small amount of paintwork was damaged putting the tires back on. I was apprehensive about calling to complain - but Rich was very obliging and redid the work for no extra charge. I had access to a loaner car which made the experience that much easier. Not cheap - but the end result is well worth it. read more

Highly recommend! Had 2 bent rims from the horrible potholes in the area. Got a fast inexpensive quote and it both rims were fixed in an hour. read more

Although they may do good work on repairing the rim or curb rash, be aware that they don't apply clear coat on the wheels, they only air brush them. So the best analogy I can make is that if your wheels come in with gloss, they will be repaired with matte. I decided to have a minor scratch fixed and after 3 attempts to get a clear coat finish, I decided to go elsewhere since I realized that they aren't capable of finishing wheels back to factory specs. read more

I needed to fix the wheels on my car before returning the car in. The technician was just the perfect guy for the job.
