I was recommended to Dean Tire in Morristown so I made the trip from NY. I worked with Sean and he was friendly, professional, and attentive. Sean reviewed my driving habits, miles I travelled, etc. to give me the best tire options for my driving and my car. I appreciated his efforts and thoroughness. Their skillful staff made sure the work was done quickly and efficiently. The price I paid was great too. I will be using Dean Tire for all my tire needs. I Highly recommend them to anyone who needs tires or repairs. It was definitely worth the trip! Thanks for the great experience. read more

I bought 4 tires for my Audi. I immediately had to have all 4 wheel balanced due to the car shaking. Within weeks of the tires being installed, I then had a slow leak. When I checked where it was leaking, there were two spots by the bead where air was leaking. I went to my regular mechanic who said that Dean didn't clean the bead of the tire before mounting them. They were super fast when they installed them. Now I know why. read more

Fast service. Good quality work. Reasonable price. Definitely recommend for all your tire needs.

I have dealt with Dean Tire several times and have been extremely satisfied with the prompt service, quality of service, honesty of the staff. They explain in detail the work needed and always go above and beyond to make sure I understand completely what was done and that I'm happy with my repair. And, of course, I always am. I would recommend Dean Tire to family and friends without any hesitation. They deserve a 10 in every categor. Marianne Barlotta read more

Blew two tires on the same pothole. That sucked, but I was glad to know where to bring them. It's worth going out of my way to go to a knowledgeable, professional, independent shop. Sean's recommendations when it's been time for new tires have been great. read more

Got a flat tire before work and got to Dean's as soon as it opened. Sean took great car of my tire and I was out of there quicker than I expected! Price was fair too for what he did for me, which included plugging a puncture in my tire and adding a sealant to an old plug for good measure. Highly recommend this shop! read more

Had a slow leak and they patched my tire while I waited, did it all in my lunch break, very quick and efficient service.

Could not have been a more enjoyable transaction. Tom is very knowledgable and worked efficiently to accommodate my timeline. I also must say that the pricing was great and he offered a comparable product at a $300 savings. It really is quite special to go to any auto repair and not be uncharged!! The new set of tires were ordered and installed within about 30 minutes. They were careful (without my asking) to ensure that all of the pressure sensors were placed back in the corresponding tire location. Thank you Tom and team!!! We couldn't have been happier:) read more

My local, independent tire guy closed seven or eight years ago and was replaced - phone number and all - by a chain. My only phone conversation with them told me that their staff didn't know what they were talking about. I looked for another independent shop and found Dean. I've gone there for leaks, for replacement of worn-out tires, for snows, and Sean always knows what he's talking about. Never tries to upsell, always presents the options. I'm glad he's there and you should be too! Shops like his are 100x better than the McDonalds version of a tire shop. Enjoy their expertise and honesty and help them compete against the corporate places. read more

Perfect experience ! I needed tires and looked around at reviews. Dean looked very good so I gave them a call. I stopped in and Sean checked my tires. I knew I needed 2 tires . Sean didn't try to up sell me on a third tire that is getting worn but still ok. I was given very fare price options and was told I could wait while the service was being done - most places make you drop the car off ,get a ride home, and come back later , which is a PITA. I went into the lobby planning on sending some emails etc... I barely got through one email and was told my car is ready ! They even added air to the other two tires and the pesky pressure light that I couldn't get off despite my routinely filling the tires is finally off ! At no point during the experience was I even slightly pressured to upgrade or spend any more than necessary . That is a rarity when dealing with auto work. What could have been an all day hassle with aggressive sales techniques elsewhere was a stress free, unbelievably quick experience at Dean ! Thank you Sean ! I will recommend you to everyone. read more

Great shop. New "go to" place for tires. Got a flat tire fixed in minutes at very reasonable price. Sean and his assistant were very courteous and attentive. They checked pressure on all tires, including the spare that went back in the trunk. Happy to have found this gem. read more

This place is quick and easy. In and out with no hassles. It's the second time I needed a tire in 2 years and they have come through with great service. read more

Quick, friendly service for a tire patch. Maybe not the least expensive fix I've ever gotten but they took me right away and got the job done. Didn't waste my time trying to sell me new tires. If you get a flat on 287, head over here and get right back on the road fast. read more

This morning I came outside to find my car's front left tire completely flat. After putting the spare on, my next move was to search tire repair in Morristown. Dean Tire Service was at the top of the list. A vehicle repair shop with 4.5 stars and double digit reviews? Seemed almost too good to be true. So I threw my jack, crowbar, and the flat tire in the trunk (where they didn't belong) and set off to Dean. I drove to Dean's and rolled my flattened tire in to the garage. I was met by a guy who told me he'd take care of it, no problem. So I waited in the customer waiting room, goofing off on my phone. 15 minutes goes by and the same guy pokes his head in and says that he just needs the glue to set in the tire and then it's good to go. 7 minutes later I was in the car and on my way. Here's what really impressed me. The last tire place I went to to fix a flat just returned my tire to me and charged about $50, leaving me to change the spare myself. Dean not only fixed my flat, but took the spare off and put the newly fixed tire on, and put the spare, crowbar, jack, and jack turner-thing back in their proper place in the trunk, all for under $25! If I ever catch another nail on the road, I'm going right back to Dean. read more

Found this shop based on the good reviews. Stopped by to get my tires rotated and the gentleman told me that the tires are going to need replaced in the next few months and a rotation wasn't going to do me any good. He DID not try to even make a sell, just told me what I had heard from another mechanic. As I was already there and winter was coming I asked for a quote. It was $300 less than Madison Honda for the best tires he had! I got them on the spot and 20 minutes later my car was driving like new again. It had not been driving well due to the wavy tires. The guy was nice and straightforward, no shady sales tactics here. My family will always use this place going forward for any tire needs. Wish they did everything car related!!!! read more

Dean has the best gas prices in Morristown (cash only) and arguably the worst hours. I always see the same notably pierced guy at the pumps, he's very friendly. This location is only one turn off Ridgedale Ave. I've noticed that their gas price isn't always available on GasBuddy, don't let that slow you down. If they're open, they'll take good care of you. We're here regularly. read more

Dean Tire Service - Dean's lot - Tires Near Me - Morristown, New Jersey

See all

I have been coming here since I moved to morristown two years ago and deans has become the place I recommend to all my coworkers and friends. The guys here are honest and reliable, and they always give me good advice. There have been a few times where the cold weather has caused my tire pressure to go down and they checked them for free and pumped the air in for free. If my tires have a real issue, they will certainly tell me but if not, they don't lie to you either. Most recently my front tires were worn out so I got them replaced. The guys recommended a slightly higher end tire (think ten to twenty bucks more) because I was really worried about snow. I was in and out in about twenty minutes. Happy to be a customer here and will continue to come when I need their help and advice on my tired! read more

I saw this place has good reviews on Google when I looked up used tires on Google Maps. I saw another shop nearby that had some bad reviews and immediately looked for the next one so I'm glad I found this one. Lucky for me he just had my tires on hand today from someone else who came in. The tire was in fairly decent condition for a used tire I actually wanted another one but he was honest and showed me a plug that was in the other one which allowed me to make the decision. They were fair with the price and friendly with the service I will definitely keep them in mind if I'm ever in the area and have tire trouble! read more

Love these guys! I was there this morning to get 4 new tires at the last minute. No BS here and great price. Very efficient and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! Great service! read more

This shop is great. I call a few places near me about repairing a flat tire - $34 and $40 at the popular Gogel's on Rt 10 East Hanover. Read the reviews and called. A friendly voice answered the phone. I mentioned its late in the day can I pick it up the next day. He said come over and we'll do it right away. There were 5 other customers waiting but they had plenty of workers. All were friendly. Fixed it with a new valve stem at no extra cost. Twenty dollars and that was it. Great place. Everyone seemed happy and a few of the customers I saw were regulars. High;y recommended. read more

This gas station is cash only but that works for me since this is the cheapest gas around. The same group of guys work the gas pumps when I go there and they are always friendly. Only fallback would be that they are sometimes closed when I get home from work but I just make sure I stop by another time when I'm working from home or on my way to the grocery store, it's worth the short trip out of my way. read more

Dean Tire is the only place I go for my tire service. Always honest with their prices and never try to make you spend more. I recommend Dean Tire to everyone! read more

Cool guys, great work, and very honest. Had a nail in my tire that Jiffy Lube said isn't fixable but they can replace it. Called Dean's to compare quotes, and they clearly knew much more about tires. They told me the honest truth that the tire is fixable instead of lying so they could sell two tires. I really appreciate their service and will be going to them for all of my tire-related needs from now on. read more

Great experience today -- Sean and his co-worker immediately went to work assessing a major leak in my tire when I brought in the car and had me out in 15 minutes. Luckily there were no punctures, faulty valve or any other significant problem, but they spent time cleaning the wheel edge and sealing the wheel/tire to ensure there wouldn't be a repeat -- and generously just waved me goodbye! Super honest -- while i was there I asked for a wheel rotation, but Sean checked the tires and said it wasn't needed, so I saved on that too. These guys have been around forever, which speaks volumes about their great service. I've been going there for many years and would strongly recommend them to anyone. read more

In and out in 10 minutes honest fair service. I was recommended here by a colleague and was skeptical but above and beyond great service.

Old school quick service shop with reasonable prices. All they do is tires and this is a good thing... can't find many shops that focus like this anymore. Balanced two front tires that were vibrating around 70 mph and the vibration is now gone. Also replaced a spare tire that had a leak and was rotted out -no more tire pressure warning light! read more

Had to get tires on my son's car. Scott called and told me we only needed 2 instead of 4, and we were able to do everything over the phone. They even straightened the rims out. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. read more

Came here because of the awesome reviews. I got a flat tire last night, and after some googling, I found this place and came to dean's today. I'm a total car noob and know nothing about cars or tires for that matter -- they helped me as soon as I walked in and I was able to get a new tire on in just 20 minutes, for a very fair price. I will definitely be recommending them to any friends who have tire issues around Morristown. Fast, efficient, and fair -- who can ask for more!! read more

Had to get a tire fixed. They got me right in and had me on my way in 10 minutes. Good service, with fair price.

Can not say enough good things about this business. Sean and Tom were fantastic. Excellent communications as they were extremely kind and patient and coordinated this whole process for me with my 82 year old Mother. Besides good pricing, these guts are very honest. Could have easily up sold me to a more expensive tire but gave me a good product at a better price. Highly recommend this business read more

You can trust them! I know I'm getting the best tires for my money! Service is always fast and friendly!

i just got my tires changed. it took less than an hour, and they were very professional. i want to leave a detailed review bc my experience is starkly different than that of the first two reviewers. they sell tires but will also mount tires that you purchased elsewhere. from just the hour or so there, i saw two main guys really helping every customer (~6) - answering their questions and providing a lot of additional useful info. There were others who also worked in the shop as well as manning the gas station. Professionalism: 1. They have a price sheet for how much it will cost to mount your tires according to its size. 2. They quoted specific prices for tires that you want to purchase but also check the warehouse availability right away. 3. They give you comparisons not just on tires (quality between brands, what is comparable for the tread design, noise, purpose of use, expected lifetime of tires, manufacturing country) but also the effects of the car (i.e. a heavier volvo may affect the tire so that it only yields a 40,000 instead of 50,000 miles). 4. They tell you the estimated time it takes to do the service. 5. They told me just when it was about to wrap up. 6. They added air to my other tires when I told them the pressure light was on and when I might need to change them later. all in all, i was very satisfied with the service. i heard about them through a family friend, and i'm really happy to support the local shops with these hard working, honest people. read more

Not going to beat around the bush. You are checking reviews to know should i or shouldn't i... well - you shouldn't..... SHOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE - THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!!! I was trailering from NY to SC, and blew both tires on trailer couple hrs apart. Brought them to Sean, who had a listening ear, as well as knowledge and a smile to get me back on my "feet" in 15min. He even loaned me a tool, on faith that i would bring it back after fixing up trailer. Dean's is one of those great local shops that puts faith back into customer service. Thanks Sean. Happy Holidays! read more
