Unprofessional. And they price gauge, the tech , the front desk, all suck. Avoid avoid avoid

I recently had a very disappointing experience at GT Wheels. I received a previous quote of $600 to get my damaged rims powder-coated. I decided to purchase new rims and caliper covers instead. When returning for installation, a reasonable cost of $200 or $300 was expected. Alex (the individual who appeared to be in charge) quoted $600 for the installation. This was the same price as the powder coating. When asked to explain the cost, the response was an arrogant attitude and a repeated statement that "that was the price." The demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive. The poor customer service was extremely disappointing. It is advised that others seek service elsewhere for fair pricing and respectful treatment. 8/27/25 Update: I got the work done at Arden's Motorsport LLC, 342 Washington Ave #348, Belleville, NJ 07109, for 250.00 The same work that the unprofessional and dismissive jerk Alex wanted 600.00 NEVER GO TO GT Wheels, they are a ripoff!!! The Owner named Richie sold me lug nuts for my Ford F-150 I paid $100 cash and come to find out he ordered them from AMAZON LOL AND PAID $26. Also never gave me original lug nuts Which are worth so much more than the ones from AMAZON, I had to go back and get them. I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

I drop off my car lexus sc430 to fix my wheels they did know what they was doing terrible ppl and not good to deal with them they charge me $426.50 and i have to go to another place after and had to pay $200.00 they broke the center spacer it was plastic so the wheel did not seat nice and that was the problem and gave to the car a lot of vibration . i did see that when they did it and i ask the about that and they told me that not the issue and they told me that my car has mechanical issues!!!!! go figure out with what ppl i had to deal DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE !!!! read more

Horrible customer service, called to inquire on a quote to spray 4 BMW 328i rims, asked about same day turn around and materials used for job. Was immediately told "just come when ready" and hung up on. Called back and asked the question again, was told "we're very busy and don't answer questions over the phone". If you can't trust them to answer a question over the phone you probably can't trust them to work on your car. Dodged a bullet. read more

Great services get my rim and tire fixed and got me on my way in no time definitely recommend.

Went in to get 4 rims repaired. Going in my rims had 2 minor curb rashes on them and were spotless. I left for an hour to kill time. When I got back they were installing the tires and I noticed all 4 rims had tons of scratches and curb rash on them. Deep dark/black scratches that were not there before. I had cleaned the rims prior to going there so I know what they looked like before heading in. One of two things happened, when going to this shop, either they completely destroyed the rims doing their work or they changed the rims and hoped I wouldn't notice. When I asked them what happened they stated that the rims were that way when i brought the car in and played dumb when i asked further questions. I'm checking with the previous parts list the car came with at sale to see if the rims part #s match. I'm almost positive they swapped out my rims and put another pair on. These are not cheap rims so I will be pursuing legal action. If I were you I would avoid this shop at all costs. read more

I went here with 2 of my friends. I drive a Porsche Cayenne, one of my boys drives a BMW 535 M Sport, and my other boy drives a VW GLI. They were able to get all 3 of our cars done in the same day. They sand blasted the original color off, fixed both of my boys bent rims, balanced all wheels before putting them back on, and powder coated all of them in the same day. But it wasn't just the quality of the work that was worth every penny, it was the customer service that the owner Roman provided. I work for Apple and we really focus on customer experience, but this guy was just outstanding. Never been to a shop before where the owner and the employees were so cool, and willing to talk to their customers about what they do for a living. I recommend this place to everyone that wants to get their rims done for a great price by people who treat your car like their own. read more

in my opinion this place makes up prices as they go.they want you to come in to see if you look like somebody they can get.for just a bent rim not cracked. one week its $75.00 then the next time they will tell you $150. read more

I had a very very sad and tiring experience at GT. I repaired my rim there, because my rim has damages me after hitting the curb, and when i drove the car, I could feel the car was vibrating, so I took my car there to have my rim fixed. and it took a little time to fix it. I looked at it and thought everything was ok, then I took the car and went back to the road. But again I could feel obviously the car was still vibrating, and I know they were not doing good job on fixing it. So I went back to them, and the person who handled my issues was hispanic guy in his 40s, I believed is manager or the owner told me it's not their problem it's my tire issue, I told them I recently just replaced the tire, the tire was fine. They insisted on saying you should go back to your tire shop to change the tire. By then, I was very doubtful about his words, but I still went back to the tire shop, and the owner was very experienced. He knows it's not the problem of the tire, the first question the owner of the tire shop asked me was did they balance your car? I said no. So he spent 30 minutes balancing my car. I'm very thankful for what the owner has done for me, and surely I'll go back to them for my further issues, that's really the attitude to do business. Ok so GT you fixed my rim but did not balance my car to get everything fixed and blame everything on other people??? Fixing the rim and balancing the tire to make sure everything is working is too much for you? This won't take you too much time. Helping customers get all problem fixed and make sure they are satisfied should be your job. It's not even tire shop's job and the owner of the tire shop still helped me balance my car without any words. it's you GT who took my money and failed to do it and blamed on another place. You made me go back and forth the whole day, my day was totally wasted. Shame on you. I'm very disappointed the way you treated your customers. read more

These guys were great. I Loved the new powder coat and refurbishing on all four rims. Excellent quality product! My rims were chewed up after a drop into a wicked pothole--one was cracked and the other bent. It created a slow leak. I did not buy my tires there; instead a brought my tires to them. They balanced and mounted my tires and installed my caliper covers for the same price as refurbishing the rims! The pricing was very reasonable the quality outstanding. The rims looked better than new! read more
