After the initial inspection, we went out for a drive to try and confirm the issue. We returned to the shop and he lifted the car to take a further look. He took some pictures of what he saw when he was under the car and showed me the issues. I had discussed with him I wanted to get a new car soon so he said that the car is safe to drive (my main concern) and that it would cost a decent amount of money to fix the issues I had if I wanted to. He told me what I needed to do to ensure the car drives fine with the issues and I was on my way out. He didn't charge me, the only thing he asked was to send people his way if they needed anything fixed. I've lived in Kearny for a couple years now and this is my first time taking my car to a shop to get it checked. Good businesses are around everywhere, but an honest business are few and far between. If you call first and make an appointment, he can service your car more quickly. Plus there is a Dunkin Donuts about 1/2 block from there if you have to wait for an oil change. Once I got there they immediately took the car to work on it, while I lounged in their waiting area and very comfortable chairs. Anyways they were extremely attentive and customer Oriented. I asked so many question in regards to cars and I'm sure they were over it but they were so enthusiastic about it. They have a fridge that holds complementary waters and also a coffee/tea station if you like. I thought it was going to be super loud in there, being it's on a major highway in a large city plus it's a mechanic shop with heavy machinery that normally makes a lot of noise I was mistaken. I could hear the guys behind the counter talking about their pets and families, that's how quiet and sound proof that shop is. The bathroom is the one that takes the cake, anywhere I go if the bathroom looks like trash I bet you the service and everything else is too. Their bathroom is pristine, very clean bathroom especially for a male dominated shop I was shocked but at the same time I was so impressed. They had a table that holds magazines and newspapers for the readers out, just be prepared to read anything from sports, car and local menu's. Time of service...well depending on what you are getting it will determine how long you will be there. I was getting tints, I wasn't in there too long and I also did notice some customers coming in and leaving before me. Mainly because they were getting something else that took less time. I called and spoke to Zach and we agreed on a price so I made my appointment to come in. It was Zach's knowledge on installing "Caliper, Rotor and Brake kits" that made me comfortable in giving him my business. When I left it was Zach's honesty and quality work that made me at ease. Installing new brake kits is a bit nerve racking since if done incorrectly can cause you to be hurt badly. Zach not only knew how to install this special kit, but did the job right. I also asked him to put aside my old calipers since I will be getting my core deposit back once I mail in. Zach not only put it aside, but placed them in the original boxes and packaged them for me. So my hands did not get dirty at all. Zach stated to me he was experienced in many aftermarket installs.
