He suggested visiting the Pearl District, which turned out to be fantastic advice. We made it there later in our trip and had a great time, so his recommendation ended up adding another memorable experience to our vacation. We enjoyed the Esquire Tavern so much that we visited twice during our week-long stay. We primarily stopped in for beers, but the food always looked tempting. On our second visit, we finally ordered some bar food to share, and it was delicious.
