Super cute coffee spot! Stopped in on a Friday morning around 10:30. The place was popping, but we still managed to find two seats. This would be a great place for meeting up with friends or getting some work done as long as you don't mind the noise. Despite the crowd, my latte was made quickly. The coffee was delicious and prices were normal.

Cocktail bar? But also kinda divey? They show NFL games.. but don't put on the sound.. and also play a lot reggaeton? Honestly wildly confused by this place I literally don't know what vibe it gives or how to feel about it but I think I like it

Somehow this is the only place that serves breakfast burritos during breakfast time in the neighborhood.... Its on the smaller size and they don't have salsa, only hot sauces (the san diegan in me died a little lol). I recommend just getting the plain burrito, the bacon isn't worth the extra $2. There's barely in it and its actually canadian ham not crispy american bacon.

Came in for a kombucha on a weekend morning. Quiet and laid back, quick eats available. Plenty of seating and lots of people here with books/laptops/journals. Staff is kind and swift!

Cozy neighborhood coffee/shop bar in Williamsburg. It's like a mix of a dive bar and a coffee house - there's plenty of seating inside and WiFi so you'll catch folks working here. Definitely want to come back and do that as well. Salted Caramel Latte ($5.50) - tasty and tasted the salted caramel flavor. It was super sweet and warming - though the caramel does mask the coffee flavor. They have a $6 breakfast burrito that I want to come back and try as well.

Cool and lively bar on a Saturday night. I thought it was very cool that it's a coffee shop during the day and bar at night. Had a few drinks and ended up buying the turkey provolone pressed sandwich. I wish it had pickles or jalapeños, but it was a tasty sandwich for a good price.

The draft beers here are so good. They have lots a varieties to choose from. Came here two weeks ago and had the Beer Project LIC sour hour. And couldn't wait to have it again and they switched it out for another sour beer that I wasn't too fond of. So opted for the Brooklyn Ale. Cozy backyard seating. But tables need to be wiped down every once in awhile. Especially the table with the umbrella. Being that it's tiled. Bartenders are pleasant and welcoming and allow u to try any draft beer u like! I believe they have some food options. Just haven't tried them. Just here for the beers!!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem after an afternoon of thrifting with my best friend and it was the perfect break. Upon entering the bar/cafe, we presented our IDs and Vax cards then ordered our drinks. I ordered the Bells Two Hearted IPA and sat with my friend across from the bar near the round tabletops. Overall, I enjoyed the beer, the ambiance and the service. The staff were so kind and considerate, and opened/closed my tab easily. I also enjoyed the music and the energy. Perfect place to catch up with a friend or study and grab a drink.

I got the chipotle breakfast burrito. It was pretty good - just didn't really get much of the chipotle flavor. I wasn't the biggest fan. The coffee was pretty good though! I got the iced caramel latte and I enjoyed it.

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

Came here on a quiet weeknight by a total mistake!…read more We came to grab some drinks at the rooftop bar and catch the sunset and gorgeous views. When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

I discovered Kokomo because I knew I wanted our wedding celebration to be in Williamsburg -- a neighborhood that holds so many memories for me growing up in the Bronx and exploring the city as a kid. We flew in from Los Angeles and truly made it a full wedding week experience. I planned the wedding myself, so I had been communicating with Joel for months leading up to the event. We reserved the Champagne Room, which felt like its own beautiful oasis. As a Jamaican-American woman, it meant so much to know my disabled mother would feel culturally comfortable, welcomed, and safe in the space and with the food. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and calming. Our server especially helped ease my nerves while we were finalizing seating and guest details, and after that, I genuinely did not have to worry about a thing. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Truly perfection. As a vegan, it meant so much to fully enjoy every part of my wedding meal without compromise. The rum punch was fantastic, our guests loved the open bar package, and the entire evening flowed so seamlessly. The aesthetic is pure island luxury -- elevated, warm, vibrant, and beautiful. The communication from the owners and management team was excellent throughout the entire process, and I even had the chance to finally meet Joel at the end of the night after months of planning together, which was such a lovely touch. I was also able to personally thank the chefs. We even accidentally left my bouquet behind, and the team kindly helped us retrieve it the next day. Kokomo NYC is officially a staple in our family now. I already know we will celebrate future milestones there and visit often whenever we are back in New York. It makes me proud to support a Black Caribbean-owned business that creates such meaningful experiences with so much care and excellence. I truly cannot imagine our wedding without Kokomo, and I'm so grateful they were part of our story. : @lensofher

The Sweet Potato Beignets with hot honey & parmesan were definitely interesting--sweet, savory, and a bit unexpected. Not my favorite item of the night, but still worth trying if you like unique flavor combos. The BK Sliders (3 pc) were solid: thick applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, Russian dressing, and pickle on mini brioche buns. Simple, satisfying, and nicely done. The real standout though was the Calamari with shichimi pepper, jalapeño, lime zest, and herbal dipping sauce--absolutely amazing. Crispy, flavorful, and the seasoning had just the right kick. Easily the best dish we ordered. Service was friendly and the atmosphere made it easy to linger. Overall a great experience, and I'd definitely come back--especially for that calamari and another hot toddy.

It is too bad Yelp doesn't allow half stars as I would honestly put this one at a 3.5 and am rounding up. While the quality of the elevated seafood bites is immaculate, they are just that: a bite or two of food, for an elevated price considering the amount of food you get. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind. Our waitress pointed these two out to us and we're grateful for her guidance because it was spot on. Paying for bread at a Solomonov joint is odd. No dessert menu is odder. Wheelchair access details: The bar is on a terrace. The accessible entrance is through the Hoxton hotel. A staff member will take you through the k'far kitchen and up via a service elevator. No barriers once you are upstairs and plenty of accessible outdoor and indoor/outdoor options, including a small length of wheelchair height bar. A perfectly functional though unexciting wheelchair accessible restroom is available.
