The food was phenomenal!! ‍‍ I don't think I've ever had a better chopped cheese sandwich in my life. The fries were are amazing fries! Fresh and crunchy!

No seating so grab and go, took it to a park. Super busy and they are on top of it, moving quickly. The cheesesteak is delish! I'd add some more veggies next time, personally preference. The meat is so well seasoned and generous! The Italian was great, really loaded. $33 for 2 sandwiches. In line with other spots in the area that aren't corporate chains. I couldn't finish half of one. Will definitely be back to try other things.

The sandwiches here are elite. I am working my way through the entire menu slowly but surely and I have loved every single one. I think my favorite so far has to be the spicy classic. They don't just make stellar sandwiches though, the staff here is amazing! They are so friendly every time I go in. Beware they close at 2pm and are only open Wednesday - Sunday so plan your cravings accordingly.

Note that Yelp hasn't been updated for their brick and mortar! Check Google for the correct address for breakfast and lunch in west Ashley but the food truck is still doing dinners all over town. Always a great sandwich! Their breakfast options are huge and so well prepared. Their lunch sandwiches and the smash burger are great - especially the buffalo. Easy parking and super friendly service. This is a take out only spot so very low key.

This place is my favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Great food, great staff, great prices.

When I heard the Wedge had a brick and mortar I just had to make the drive. It's a ways away from where I live but I just so happen to be out that way so I stopped in for a take out. The food really is delicious, just a little pricey. Would certainly go back though.

We are fortunate to live right around the corner from The Wedge. So far, we have been four times and enjoyed each time we ordered here. The place is small but pretty much operates on a takeout basis only with no tables to sit. People sit on some chairs outside or drop their tailgates. The staff are very friendly and even at peak hours you won't have to wait long on your order. On our first visit we went for breakfast, my wife getting their bacon, egg and cheese and I tried the Taylor ham, egg and cheese. The sandwiches were packed with lots of meat, perfectly fried eggs and ooey gooey cheese. I ate mine at 8:30am and at 2:30pm I was not the least bit hungry. We ordered the hashbown which was only one dollar, and it was very crunchy and nicely salted. The next visit was for lunch with my wife getting the cheesesteak and I ordered the chopped cheese. The cheesesteak was loaded with tender meat and was very flavorful. The chopped cheese was outstanding with its spiced ground beef swimming in yummy cheese. The jalapenos provided a nice spicy crunch, and the lettuce and tomato gave it some freshness. I will be getting this again! We tried the seasoned fries, and they were crispy and full of flavor. Our next visit was for the parms. We shared halves of the meatball parm and the vodka parm. The meatball parm had huge meatballs, plenty of sauce and cheese, and was one of the best one's I've tried. The true star and my wife and mines favorite was the vodka parm. Loaded with juicy chicken cutlets that vodka sauce took it to a whole new level. You must have this in your life.! We tried the potato salad which was made up of red potatoes and was a good-sized portion for four dollars. For our latest visit we tried the double cheeseburger and the newly added Reuben sandwich. The smash patties were juicy with a nice signature sauce on them and when we added bacon for only one dollar, they did us right loading it down with perfectly crispy bacon. The Reuben was piping hot when I got it home and the corned beef wad sliced super thin which made it very easy to eat. I was surprised that the marbled rye made it through the whole meal and didn't turn to mush. Definitely a competitor for top Reuben sandwich! They have added online ordering which is definitely a plus. Be sure to try one of their amazing sandwiches they do not disappoint!

Genuinely so delicious. The girl was so nice too! Thank you for bringing a lil piece of New York to Charleston I wouldn't recommend eating there! Just mobile order and take it home :)

    Hangover add chicken! 20/10

Okay after coming here 3 times now since I heard their store front was open I'm blown away every time. First trip was my first time ever trying to food I've followed for a year or two now but couldn't ever make it. I got my husband and I both the buffalo chicken sandwich and we shared a classic. Second trip I got it again because it was amazing but I told them I'll be back because I really need to try the breakfast side of the menu. The next day I came for breakfast. I got the hangover but I added chicken cutlet to it. 20/10 it was so good. Everything I've had so far 20/10. And I can't wait to continue to work my way through the whole menu!! Not to mention the staff is great and I like the space not to much going on. Can get crowed but honestly you can't beat good food and the wait isn't bad either. So if you haven't go try them out you won't be disappointed! Great job Wedge!

Doesn't get much better than these sandwiches!!

I had their Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich as well as their Italian sub sandwich. Both were awesome, people working there very nice & accommodating. Highly recommended!

    Hot honey ham special

Solid deli food truck in the Charleston area! They pop up mostly around breweries and usually have specials. I ordered the vodka parm, which is a staple, and my husband ordered the hot honey ham special. Both sandwiches were super good and had great flavor. They don't skimp you on the meat, and the bread is nice and fresh! We also got a side of fries which were fine. We waited a while so we were hoping the fries would be warmer, but they did the trick. The staff is nice and they have plenty of options. They sometimes do run out of menu items so make sure to get there on the earlier side, but you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches!

Several people had told us how great the food was, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to finally check it out -- and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, every single person working there was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You can tell the staff works really well together, and that kind of energy makes a difference in the overall experience. We started with the wings and onion rings, which were both delicious and a great way to kick things off. Three out of the four of us ordered the Barburger, while one person got the Company Salad. The Barburger was smashed and cooked perfectly with that great crispy edge you hope for in a smashburger. The Company Salad completely surprised us in the best way -- the salad itself was fresh and flavorful, but the dressing? Absolutely crave worthy. We also tried the regular fries, sweet potato fries, and cole slaw. The sweet potato fries and slaw were a little mediocre compared to the rest of the meal, but honestly, everything else was so good that it hardly mattered. Overall, the food absolutely lived up to the hype. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and some seriously delicious burgers. Definitely give this place a try.

They were super crunchy and packed with flavor. And of course, I have to mention--they're pet friendly with plenty of outdoor seating, which is always a huge plus for us. Ambiance is nice and inviting! Inside isn't very big just keep that in mind. This is a must-try spot!

Super crispy but creamy and smooth on the inside, just enough Cajun seasoning and salt to make me want to shovel them into my mouth forever. And the price? Also, this place is huge so they were able to accommodate my friend's post-wedding party (about 20 people) at the last minute and we had a blast. Everywhere else we tried to go either didn't have the space for us or were closing so it totally made our night! We just made sure to call ahead to check and they were more than happy to have us - the bride was happy so you know it was good :) Bottom line, the Peacock is a local gem hidden in plain sight on East Bay and, as a local, it's become one of my top go-to's in Charleston. (Post Script, the handshake is pervasive here, literally both bartenders were introduced to me and both came up and shook my hand.) I had checked this place out from other Yelp reviews and already knew I wanted the Fish and Chips, so after my beer order, I was shocked and awed that without asking, he brought the Malt Vinegar! You know it's gonna be the bomb already! The fish arrived very quickly! Bruh...this fish was legit. A large solo iceberg of fried perfection crested upon a wave of fresh made "chips " and they were clearly fresh made, not the frozen variety. The beer batter on this fish was so good I was in heaven. I thought it might be heavy and greasy, and yet somehow it held only flavor, crunch, and absorbed my Malt Vinegar to perfection. This place is packed with regulars and it clearly seems to attract other service industries personnel. All good signs of a good time! This may have been my first visit, but won't be my last!
