New to the area and went to the Wave for dinner last Thursday night. Was very pleased with my service, the waitress was so friendly, service was excellent, food was delicious. It was a great place before it changed ownership. But it is now terrible, food, service, and cleanliness are all lacking. Don't dare get any seafood, fish smelled of ammonia, chowder is still making me nauseous, and even the calamari was gross. Literally will never even think about giving it another chance. I just hope my family doesn't end up getting sick. read more

The menu is huge, the food is decent and the prices aren't too bad... usually. I must admit I agree with Gary when he says this place is going downhill so fast. I have been going here since they opened and in the beginning this place was a fresh new spot with a lot of menu options. Recently, my parents and I ordered to go and as my mother had called it, they messed up the order. The order was pretty simple; a chicken parm dinner with ziti and two greek salads with chicken, one with ranch instead of bleu cheese. Looking forward to eating here again, I was disappointed when my salad was missing ranch dressing. Not to mention, when I went to the restaurant to pick up the order, paying took over fifteen minutes. There was so much confusion because the computers were not working correctly which was an inconvenience, which later was even more frustrating. The first time I went to Pizza Wave was for takeout. The waitress standing at the door did not greet us and was EXTREMELY rude when I asked her where the pick-up counter was located. She acted as though it was the most annoying question she had ever heard. The second time I went to Pizza Wave was again, for a Togo order. They told me my order would be ready in 30minutes (a small cheese pizza and a meatball sandwich). When the wait time was over my food still was not ready so I waited a few more minutes- not a huge deal. But when I got home (a 1.5 minute drive) I discovered that my pizza was just a tad warmer than room temperature. I actually considered zapping it in the microwave (ew). The sandwich we ordered was hot but SURPRISE- it wasn't a meatball sub, it was some kind of chicken parm sandwich. I could have drove back for a corrected version but I didn't bother. It wouldn't have been worth the wait. In regards to the taste of the food, the general consensus in my house seems to be "its ok." But it's somewhat more expensive than other local pizza places that offer faster service, BETTER service, and much better food. I don't see myself going back. read more

Just tried the wave for the first time. Delivery. Pizza special and an order of chicken tenders. The tenders were what you would expect, previously frozen, fried served with side dipping sauce. Pretty standard. Next the pizza...Now I had been looking forward to this all day...I open the box and...what happened?!?! Someone must have carried it vertically under their arm or something. All the toppings were on one side of the box, half the pie was bare. How hard is it to carry a pizza rightside up and get it to a house without rendering it almost unedible. I spread the toppings the best I could back over the remainder of the pizza. Decent flavor but the presentation left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

We stopped in one afternoon for lunch, thinking we would get pizza, but when we saw they had fish and chips made with Haddock not Cod and used a beer batter, we thought we would try it. I am not a big fan of fish and chips, but have to say they do a great job here! The batter is light, not that heavy batter that you bite into and then wonder where the fish is. The fries are great and even the cole slaw has a good flavor. We have been back many times, for both lunch and dinner, and while we say we will get a pizza, we revert to the fish because it is so good! We have had burgers and found them big and juicy, but it is our go to place for seafood. We are going to try to get the Prime Rib some night because we have heard how good it is...maybe they will be out of fish and we will really get the Prime Rib. read more

The service was not that great. We decided to try it for the first time as we live in Bristol and love to try new take out. We had it delivered to the house and when it got here not only were the french fries cold but the chicken pizza we ordered came without the chicken. When we called the girl on the phone was very unhelpful and told us there wasn't anything she could do. Food is okay but customer service could definitely use some improvement. read more

This place is great. Very dependable for good food. I think the question here is what HAVEN'T I ordered? The chowder and clam cakes are great. I've had the tilapia, calzones, pizza, chicken stirfy, etc. Oh and their pulled pork nachos, I got those a long time ago and I don't even know if they still have them, but if they do... ORDER THEM. they are superub. All the food is good, very reasonably priced meals. The service is quick and every time I've come here, it's never busy. I hope they don't close, but I enjoy that there is never a wait! read more

I just recently had take out from them and it was "Great". They have a huge menu, not just pizza. It ranged from fish to prime rib. The prices are fair. I highly recommend the restaurant! Go and give it a try.... read more

My second time here and last.The first time I ate here both my brother and I ordered the same thing. We both had stomach problems within hours said we'd never go back. However, last weekend was my dads 80th birthday, he chose this place to have lunch. (Not where I'd go for my 80th but oh well). Because I was surprising him I didn't have a choice and had to go ( I live out of state). I ordered the seafood platter but wanted the fish baked instead of fried. When the plate came I took a bite of the fish and noticed something wasn't normal. On the second bite the whiff of AMMONIA from my fish was extremely strong. I called the waitress and she sent it back and said she would replace it. No thanks!! She said she would take half the cost off of my plate. She should have not charged me as I found myself within hours with stomach problems AGAIN!! Humans are not meant to eat ammonia! God forbid my dad had ordered the fish, which is obviously NOT FRESH! How could the cook not have smelled it?? Never again will I set foot in this place. They obviously have no standard in place for tossing out expired food, instead they choose to serve it anyway. The health department should shut this place down! NEVER AGAIN! read more
