Tyler is one of the most knowledgable people I've ever met when it comes to plants. He had suggestions and answers to every question we threw his way. His communication was spot on, understood what we wanted, offered suggestions when we didn't and was super chill through the entire project. He even recommended a fantastic landscaper to boot. His fees and costs for plants were well within budget and he made sure nothing was a surprise. And if he shows up with a fruit tree, just take it. Trust us. Who knew a nectaplum was even a thing? So delicious... We could not be happier with Tyler's work. If you're looking for a designer, or just want to learn the scientific names of every plant in your backyard, Tyler is your guy. A+, 5 stars, would totally have him pick our plants again.

Was given a wide ballpark number shortly after ($8000 wide window mind you. That's a huge swing for a peasant non tech bro like me). When inquiring about the design fee and wanting to better understand the breakdown of the cost for budgeting purposes ($8000 wide window as mentioned above), we pretty much got a "yeah, we're not interested go find someone else." Ok, so apparently it's not great to want to understand. Really wanted this to work, however I cannot say I'd recommend unless you're prepared to just sign over a blank check.

We told them we wanted a calm, relaxing space where my family and extended family can enjoy. Since neither my husband or I have green thumbs, we also wanted something low maintenance. Well, its been two seasons now and we have enjoyed every minute of our new backyard. I never realized how simple act of growing vegetables can be a relaxing and rewarding activity. As this was our first backyard project, we asked a lot of questions to which they patiently answered them all in a timely manner. They listened to our goals and concerns and kept us informed throughout the project. We enjoyed working with everyone on the Hansen Landscape Contractors team.

Both have a ton of experience designing and building ponds and this directly translates to the excellent design and implementation they put into their work. Originally I had wanted to build the pond and waterfall myself and perhaps have them consult on the project, but in the end I am so happy I left it to their capable hands as I would never been able to produce the workmanship and design they came up with. They blew away my expectations and its such a joy to enjoy the wonderful addition they made to our backyard. Since the installation they have been back to check up on the pond and make sure things are running smoothly and they are quick to respond to any issues that arise. For example, a few months into the pond I was cleaning the filter and I had misplaced the seal and I called Richard in a panic that the pump was not working and was sucking air. He gave me a list of issues that it could be and suggested ways to diagnose the problem. This was the first issue I had had with the pond since they had left and I was so relieved that they answered my call on the weekend and helped me resolve the issue. I would have no reservations recommending their services.

In addition to building the pond, Masuko built an extended deck and benches, added a water catchment system that stores 1000 gallons of rainwater, and did extensive terracing of my back yard that now is home to 50 species of plants, herbs and fruit trees. If you want ecologically friendly landscaping, a pond, or pond services, Daniel and Richard Masuko are recommended without reservation.

The finished backyard looks excellent and the quality of the construction appears high. Vanessa specifically provided excellent, white-glove service throughout the entirety of the project and was super responsive to all of our communication. We did have a number of issues arise with the crew (mainly excessive dust seeping into our house and trash being left behind on the neighbor's property line), as well as the accounting department (an accidental attempt at overcharging us), but Vanessa always did an excellent job of troubleshooting these issues and helping to guide everybody towards a resolution. She also worked diligently on our backyard design and expertly guided us through several iterations and unexpected construction issues. I highly recommend working with Vanessa and Black Diamond Pavers.

A man with a vision! Hiring Keith Stover, (Nature's Design), to beautify the front area of my house…read morewas an amazing experience. He already works on my mom's garden, which is breathtakingly beautiful, and for my birthday she split the cost with me to have him work his magic at my house. I know very little about such things so I really trusted him and his vision, and I am so grateful. He was very attentive to my tastes and listen to my ideas. He often gave me options to choose which I liked best. Very quickly we were on the same page about all of the little things that would make me happy. When the first estimate was a little higher than my budget, he pared it down and we focused on the most important areas - and he was still able to make it totally beautiful. Keith was a pleasure. He has a quiet demeanor. He and his assistant were super respectful and it was clear right away that they really care about doing everything right. He stuck to the schedule, he worked super hard and it was immediately evident that he is someone who is very proud of his work, regardless of the size of the project. I'm actually saving money so I can hire him again to add some of the things that were outside the scope of last year's project. They installed an irrigation system and showed me how to program the timer, but honestly I haven't had to touch it. It just works. Everything grew. Everything still looks healthy and gorgeous. It's really the gift that keeps on giving. I'm really proud of my garden, and it really is the result of Keith's vision, Keith's design and Keith's implementation. He's SO GOOD! You should call him and get on his schedule because I imagine he's pretty busy making magic happen :-)

I am so glad we took a chance and chose this relatively new landscape company! After looking at 4-5…read morevendors, we were impressed with Daniel's communication, personality, and his willingness to help turn our dream backyard into a reality (cliche but true)! Daniel grew up in the bay and worked with his dad in landscaping since he was young. We admire his passion and his dream to open up his own landscape company to continue that legacy and dismantle the bad rep that contractors/landscapers have. Trust me, we've been burned by previous contractors who left the job unfinished with poor craftmanship. We expressed our concerns to Daniel and he assured us that his team of 4 will be with us from beginning to end. Also, Daniel ensured that we can reach out to him anytime and he'll get back to us. He kept his promise and delivered on that! He responds to all our texts and his crew showed up to our home early EVERYDAY for a week. Our backyard project took no more than 7 days to complete - just as promised! During the design phase, Daniel and his designer Carlos would meet with us in the evenings to go over our design requirements and wants. Along the way Daniel gave ideas/recommendations, which worked out for us. Daniel even went with us to the nursery to pick out the plants. Dream Reality pricing is well aligned with what other vendors were charging, but I think their pricing is more reasonable. Daniel even offered to install lights and other stuff for us free of charge. I saw his ambition to grow his business and build good rapport with his clients. That means a lot to us! Overall our pavers, retaining wall, lawn, rocks, and more turned out amazing. We were able to achieve a modern yet simple backyard - it looked pretty close to the inspo pics I sent to them! I highly recommend Dream Reality Landscape for all your landscaping needs!

We couldn't be more grateful for Octavio and his team. Our backyard has a notoriously difficult…read moreslope that many other contractors refused to touch. Octavio was the only one who figured out the logistics of getting a Bobcat on-site and offered a clear path forward. While we worked with a separate landscape designer, Octavio's on-the-ground expertise actually improved the final result. He suggested practical modifications to the original terrace and retaining wall plans that better suited our terrain, which saved us significant costs. Beyond the major earth-moving, he handled: - Full Front Yard Renovation: High-quality work at a very fair price. - ADU Infrastructure: Trenching and installation for electric, water, and sewer lines. - Finishing Touches: Expert irrigation, lighting, and planting. What truly sets him apart is his character. When raccoons tore up our new sod, Octavio offered to repair it under warranty, even though it wasn't his fault. If you have a 'impossible' yard or just want someone honest and highly skilled, Octavio is your guy.

This is an update review now that we have used Octavio and Pacific Premier Landscaping once again…read moreto complete our homes landscaping all around! Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping is STILL incredible! Extremely professional, responsive and just an all around really nice guy! We had a very large project that included our Front, Side, and sloping back yard. My wife and I, like a lot of couples I'm certain, have design paralysis with that "I don't know, what do you want?" going back and forth with each other endlessly. Octavio has a great eye, and countless times he broke our deadlock saying, "How about this? I think this would look really nice" and when we followed his suggestions we ended up being incredibly happy with the result! That's a huge benefit that you can't put value on, because it keeps a project moving forward with minimal stress. Whenever we had questions, he always replied to our texts instantly, and one of the things I really appreciated about his company is that we never had to line up any of our own specialty contractors (electrical, plumbing etc) to do work. He has every discipline covered and coordinates the scheduling of all of that. I've worked with contractors before where they would inform you they didn't do a type of work and we would have to contract that effort separately. Octavio is not like that and he'll coordinate it all according to how you'd like it to look, or be done. Big thumbs up on that! Payment schedules are very clearly explained and documented. Our project included payments in "phases of work" down payment, forms completed, rebar completed, Completed concrete, electrical and irrigation/plants completed, final approval completed etc. and there was flexibility in the schedule if we wished, which made it much easier at one point while we were travelling. He's very open to discussing whatever makes things go smoothly. We loved how he gave us a lot of help particularly with trees/plants (types, locations) Octavio is very knowledgeable in that area and we were very pleased when he met us at the nursery multiple times to show and help us select plants and trees. His work crews were always very friendly, hard working and meticulous, and he checked in on them constantly to make sure everything was going according to plan. It's very obvious that he wants to make sure there are no surprises, and that work is progressing according to schedule and plans. It was a great pleasure having Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping transform our home! We would use him again without question and in fact have several other projects in the immediate future that we're in the process of discussing. A lot of people will search hard for the lowest price (I would estimate that Octavio's prices are not the "cheapest", but they are much more than fair, and I would argue that there is a HUGE difference between "lowest price" and "value"; that being the quality and experience of the work done for the money spent, and with that in mind, Pacific Premiere is a tremendous value! You get a ton for your Money!
