This is an update review now that we have used Octavio and Pacific Premier Landscaping once again to complete our homes landscaping all around! Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping is STILL incredible! Extremely professional, responsive and just an all around really nice guy! We had a very large project that included our Front, Side, and sloping back yard. My wife and I, like a lot of couples I'm certain, have design paralysis with that "I don't know, what do you want?" going back and forth with each other endlessly. Octavio has a great eye, and countless times he broke our deadlock saying, "How about this? I think this would look really nice" and when we followed his suggestions we ended up being incredibly happy with the result! That's a huge benefit that you can't put value on, because it keeps a project moving forward with minimal stress. Whenever we had questions, he always replied to our texts instantly, and one of the things I really appreciated about his company is that we never had to line up any of our own specialty contractors (electrical, plumbing etc) to do work. He has every discipline covered and coordinates the scheduling of all of that. I've worked with contractors before where they would inform you they didn't do a type of work and we would have to contract that effort separately. Octavio is not like that and he'll coordinate it all according to how you'd like it to look, or be done. Big thumbs up on that! Payment schedules are very clearly explained and documented. Our project included payments in "phases of work" down payment, forms completed, rebar completed, Completed concrete, electrical and irrigation/plants completed, final approval completed etc. and there was flexibility in the schedule if we wished, which made it much easier at one point while we were travelling. He's very open to discussing whatever makes things go smoothly. We loved how he gave us a lot of help particularly with trees/plants (types, locations) Octavio is very knowledgeable in that area and we were very pleased when he met us at the nursery multiple times to show and help us select plants and trees. His work crews were always very friendly, hard working and meticulous, and he checked in on them constantly to make sure everything was going according to plan. It's very obvious that he wants to make sure there are no surprises, and that work is progressing according to schedule and plans. It was a great pleasure having Octavio and Pacific Premiere Landscaping transform our home! We would use him again without question and in fact have several other projects in the immediate future that we're in the process of discussing. A lot of people will search hard for the lowest price (I would estimate that Octavio's prices are not the "cheapest", but they are much more than fair, and I would argue that there is a HUGE difference between "lowest price" and "value"; that being the quality and experience of the work done for the money spent, and with that in mind, Pacific Premiere is a tremendous value! I contacted them for a quote to resurface our deck. I was contacted by their landscape designer who said that I needed to pay thousands of dollars to him for a plan to be drawn for the deck. I was confused because it's preexisting and I don't want to change it. He then told me that this was required by the city and I would need a permit! I was astounded because that's a lie! It's not my first deck project so I knew repairs and maintenance do not require a permit. I also received several other quotes from licensed and bonded contractors and no one thought I needed a permit. read more

Octavio was the only one who figured out the logistics of getting a Bobcat on-site and offered a clear path forward. We have a tiny backyard area that seems home to every possible weed you can find in our area, and this year we decided we needed professional help removing the explosive weed overgrowth. We had a big pile of dirt and they cleared it off put down some beautiful grass, and Octavio worked with me answering my questions about which grass to buy. He was very communicative and helpful. We can't say enough good things about Pacific Premier Landscape. Octavio and his crew take great pride in their work. Their skills and communication go above and beyond. Although they are not the cheapest, they are licensed, very experienced, and only use high-quality materials. We definitely got what we paid for. Another company installed our back yard landscaping in 2021. Unfortunately, the irrigation was all wrong, so the plants struggled. Octavio and his crew designed and installed a new irrigation system and replaced a lot of failing plants. It works perfectly, and everything is now thriving! Wow! Pacific Premiere Landscape Inc. was a dream to work with. We had a few companies come out for quotes and we are so glad that we went with this team. We had Octavio and his crew completely redo our back yard and front yard and we could not be happier. The final result of our outdoor spaces surpassed our expectations. We worked with Sean (their designer) who helped design our backyard oasis. As a designer myself (not landscape) I was so impressed with his work -- he turned our space from "this is a nice renovation" to "this is a luxury OASIS (on a budget)". The crew was top notch and so kind-- we had changed our mind on a few things and it was no problem to update the layout. The craftsmanship and service was unparalleled. One morning, we saw the crew scooping out pebbles from between pavers because they must have felt it looked "too full". We were wondering what they were doing but later in the afternoon realized that it was to add more depth and dimension to the design and made it look even more elevated! We didn't even ask them to do that! We even noticed them patching up our sidewalk with concrete which wasn't even part of the job. The crew really was so fantastic... we were sad when the job was done because it was a pleasure having them around . Octavio's expertise and patience made this process effortless. For example, I couldn't decide on plants and he offered to take me to the nursery to help pick some out. This was so incredibly helpful and for him to take time out of his busy schedule meant a lot. He also dealt with my many texts and questions . All in all, this team is the best and I feel so lucky to have found them. Octavio is dedicated to customer satisfaction and I very much appreciated his communication style and consistency. I am likely not the easiest client and I had pretty half baked design drawings. Octavio and his team were disappointing and I had to discontinue their regular service. They charged $300 a month for biweekly visits. They wouldn't commit to a consistent schedule (specific weekday and time) and sometimes skipped a week so I received only one visit a month. When they were here, they left leaves and debris on the corners of the yard. Although I was promised it was included in the service, they didn't do basic trimming even if a bush started to grow onto a walkway or a trees branches grow low enough to get in the way. read more

Octavio and company just finished installing a new front yard for us in San Ramon working from a design I had made. I'm not a landscape designer, so I relied on Octavio's knowledge to help me avoid problems. We wanted to get rid of our water-hungry lawn and replace it with more water efficient (but not California native) plants and avoid introducing drainage problems. We hired the Pacific Premier team to complete our front yard landscaping this Spring and are very happy with both the results and the experience! There were hardscaping components, a new sprinkler system, and several varieties of plants installed. From the get go, Octavio stood out from other providers due to his responsiveness and honest nature - and he and the team upheld this impression from our first quote to the last correspondence. The estimate was appropriately detailed and straightforward. Pricing was reasonable, and there were no surprises or hidden adjustments along the way. Octavio demonstrated flexibility in re-scoping and reestimating the project with us to better align with our budget, while maintaining the most critical aspects of our original digital design, which we had developed before engaging him. He was happy to adapt to our changing needs and did not apply pressure in any way to push out outside of our financial comfort zone. Ultimately, the team was able to execute to the design, while providing expert advice on adjustments needed to bring the vision to life. For instance, the digital design did not fully capture the sloping of the yard, creating some challenges in positioning of some hardscaping components. We have been wanting to build a deck for a long time. It was quite a challenge finding a landscaping company that specializes in Trex decks, and when we did, we received insanely expensive quotes. I reached out to Pacific Premier Landscape via text message after seeing their beautiful and impressive portfolio on Yelp. Trex is a composite material that is low maintenance, but can be challenging to work with, and they did a phenomenal job. This project was a long time coming as my wife and I have been talking about redoing both our front and back yard since we moved in. We had some general ideas of what we wanted but didn't really know what the best use for our space would be.   We began looking for and talking to landscape designers and contractors in 2022 and it was so hard to get someone who would even reply. Those who did, would come to us with an exorbitant price and that was with making large amounts of cuts to our overall project. Thankfully, we found Pacific Premier Landscape who helped us with the design aspect and the construction portion. They were quick to reply and start the process. From day 1, Sean gave us the confidence that what we wanted could be accomplished and that they could help us create the vision for it, all for a reasonable budget considering the size of the project. He was extremely professional and patient with us as we went back and forth until we landed on a final design. I am one to always second guess, so I am sure we were not his easiest clients, but he let us go through the process that we needed to, to feel comfortable moving forward. As soon as we saw the vision and design, we knew we made the right choice.   As far as the construction of it, Octavio and his crew were phenomenal. They were courteous, professional and thoughtful with the implementation of our design, even finding creative solutions for things we did not even know we needed to address. And while we had a bit of a delay on the demo side of things due to a PG&E issue, Octavio was always understanding while we sorted everything out. In the end, that all translated to a beautiful space that we could not even have imagined. From the concrete to the driveway design, to pavers, new fence, artificial grass, plants selection and installation, the quality, craftsmanship and care that Octavio and his crew demonstrated can been seen throughout. They even came back weeks after the job was complete after we changed our minds one last time on an area of our backyard to make a change we wanted. And while the before pictures don't show the true condition of our space with all the cracks and unevenness of the concrete and sinking areas throughout the yard, it was something that we could barely use and not something our toddler could actually spend time in. Now, she loves the space and has spent every day discovering and playing in her new safe yard. We could not have asked for a better implementation and result.
