2 years later and our front yard still looks GREAT. We hired Luis and his team to remove the ugly weedy grass in our front yard and replace it with tanbark and drought tolerant plants and a big shade tree. We had Lozano's replace our backyard lawns with new sod and I highly recommend Luis and his crew! From his first visit to estimate through the installation, service was exceptional. They were on time, efficient and did beautiful work. The old lawn had to be removed, the ground rototilled and I wanted gopher wire installed before the new sod. I never write reviews, but Luis and his team deserve a stellar review. Not only did he give the best price, and he always responded to my countless texts promptly. As a first time homeowner, there were a lot of things I didn't know, but Luis was very patient with me, answering all of my questions and concerns. After the job was done, there was a problem with our pipe that's connected to the drip irrigation (not Luis' fault), and I texted him at 9 PM and he responded right away and said he would take care of it. Can't comment on their work but in terms of communication - I would not bother reaching out to them. I contacted them twice now - once earlier in the year and again this week. Both times they sent a short automatic reply "Unable to Service, I'm booked for this time". I responded back and said I didn't have a timeline and had no problem waiting and that I was just looking for someone who does good work. No response whatsoever. As a context, I have a Yardzen design that is standard for landscape contractors: plants, irrigation, gravel, mulch, etc. It's also fairly decent sized -- so who knows! Maybe this business is no longer in operations, in which case, Yelp should probably remove them so that its customers do not reach out to out-of-business vendors. read more
