There's nothing like moving into a new home where your absolute FAVORITE thing was the yard, and then finding out that the irrigation is completely broken! It was literally a scramble drill to manually water every day until we could move in - not exactly the home-coming we were hoping for. Gerardo and his team restored our faith in contractors. I can't say this with near the emphasis I'd like to right now, but it's important. So I'll try. This crew truly takes pride in what they do. They really care. They were meticulous, respectful, prompt with scheduling and work ethic. Every day, (my wife reports) they busted their butts! So let me back up. Day one when we moved in, we found a blowout on the first manifold of our irrigation system. No water to any of the 12 irrigation zones. Beyond that, we came to learn that tree roots and other problems had completely taken 2 zones offline, and there were an assortment of other problems all over the yard. The wasted water (and bill) must have been enormous for the sellers. Gerardo promised me that he would fix our manifolds (all five of them), plumb them into nice underground vaults, and then ensure every plant on the property had water. He did exactly what he said he would do! In some cases, I had to laugh... If I could complain about anything, the watering efficiency is more targeted than I expected. We literally have little spouts from multiple drip lines directly INSIDE several bushes. ZERO waste. I've been running this thing daily to try and coax what were dying plants back to life. But I think my water bill may still be less than my prior home. Our previously dying plants are greening up. Gerardo fixed all the wiring, programmed my controller, and set us up with a VERY automated yard. The work is beautiful! FAR better than any irrigation system I've had before. Gone are our multiple PVC towers. Now we have beautiful, invisible, underground access panels. Our yard NOW does what we thought it was going to from day 1. Do yourself a favor. It's been about a month since Gerardo came to my home to fix a leak in my water pipe. It appeared that it was fixed, but unfortunately, it started leaking again. I called yesterday to tell him what was going on. He said he would be here this morning at 9:00am. He was a NO SHOW. It's 3 hours later. Not even a phone call. Obviously, this company doesn't honor its work. This is a warning to anyone wanting to use this company. I gave him a good review the first time. Obviously, he didn't know what he was doing. read more

Gerardo and his crew did a great job taking care of a neglected yard, including tree work, pruning/mowing, and cleanup. After struggling to find a local contractor to pave a new concrete area in our backyard, where our former shed stood, we luckily stumbled upon Geraldo from Rosales Landscaping. Geraldo exceeded our expectations by responding immediately to our request. He inspected our backyard and provided a very reasonable quote with a quick turnaround time within a few days. Beyond the great price, Geraldo won us over with his professionalism, punctuality, honesty, and deep knowledge of the job. He and his crew completed the work efficiently, kept the job site clean, and left us with an excellent concrete pad that will serve us for many years. Highly recommended Geraldo for any of your landscaping! read more

I requested a quote through Yelp and received an immediate response. They scheduled a property review the very next day, and after getting several quotes from different providers, Rosales Landscaping stood out. They were able to stay within my budget while delivering the best overall solution. The team showed up on time, were cordial and professional, and worked very efficiently. What would have taken me several days to clear myself was completed in just a few hours--and at a level of quality I wouldn't have been able to achieve. Highly recommend! read more

He was gracious and explained the work he was planning to do and what he had done. I highly recommend him and his company. read more

He and his team worked very hard, were professional, and had great attention to detail. We worked with Gerardo for our irrigation problems at our meditation center at Fremont. The work by Gerardo and his team was pretty good with not much back and forth needed, even though I was coordinating this from San Jose. We had issues with all 8 of our irrigation zones, but Gerardo was able to address them without making a big hole in our pocket. His quote was reasonable and his service was even better. We plan to work with him on future projects at the center, and also recommend him to anyone needing any landscaping work. read more

Gerardo and his crew did an outstanding job bringing our backyard back to life! Our yard hadn't been maintained for over four months and had become pretty messy with overgrown trees, shrubs, and weeds everywhere. Gerardo came out and did a careful assessment of the yard and walked us through a clear game plan to get everything cleaned up and under control. The scope of work included trimming overgrown trees and shrubs, removing weeds, taking out a few unwanted trees, and spraying for bugs. The crew worked tirelessly for about 9 hours straight to complete the job, and their work ethic was seriously impressive. I really appreciated how professional and thorough they were. They made multiple truck trips to haul away and properly dispose/compost all of the material they removed, which was a lot. Just as important, they did a great job picking up after themselves and left the space looking clean and organized when they finished. Our backyard looks completely transformed now. If you're looking for a hardworking, reliable landscaping team that takes pride in their work, I would absolutely recommend the team at Rosales. read more

Rosales Landscaping Services = 10/10 Gerardo and his team were fantastic. The price was very fair, they went above and beyond with the work (cleaning out a drainage pipe and installing a new grate, and even taking care of a few small tree branches), and were very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend and use again for many different types of jobs. read more

My dad saw what a great job they did on our yard so he asked for a quote to cut three trees at their house. The work was done to my satisfaction and I highly recommend this company. They reviewed work after done." Thanks again, Gerardo! read more

I have worked with Gerardo and his team for the last couple years for many of my property needs (landscaping, repairs, installations of things like storm doors, clearing junk/trash out of hoarding situations, and more). They are honest, friendly, humble, and do high quality work. I was connected to them through a colleague and have never looked back. I hold them in high regard and appreciate how Gerardo will always take the time to explain things to me, never making me feel like my question is stupid or beneath him to answer. Work with them! Rosales Landscaping truck idled near our house 8 am this morning for 30+ minutes, scrolling his phone. Noisy, lots of diesel fumes, not attached to any equipment, not loading or unloading. I came out and asked "hey, sorry to bother you, but do you mind turning off the engine?" He said no, because if he did it wouldn't start again. I said I'd check with Rosales office about it. He got mad and stepped toward me and yelled that he was Rosales. I left. Others obviously have had positive experiences but I would not hire this company. read more

Gerardo came to our house and moved and replanted a couple plants in our backyard, and removed a couple dead boxwood plants, and planed new boxwoods in their place, all with new soil. He was professional, kind, very thorough and left all 3 work areas very clean, with no sign of soil anywhere in our courtyard. We're very happy with his work, and have saved his contact information for future work. Thank you, Gerardo. read more

Gerardo's crew goes above and beyond every time. We've had them for bi-weekly maintenance of a very large yard area for years, and also for annual pruning of our trees, and they just do a great job. They do much more than I ever expected. It's NOT just a mow-and-blow service, as you'll see if you check out their website. And they seem to enjoy what they're doing, which is nice. Gerardo is calm and friendly, and responsive with special project estimates and scheduling. I really reccommend this company! read more

Gerardo is professional and got the job done lightning fast. His bid for irrigation repair was more than fair and he knew what was wrong with the system and got it working immediately. I've had other landscapers come out to look at the sprinkler and timer and they didn't really know how to fix it. So then I hired them again to fill in a pond and plant a tree and plants and within 2 days, they came out, got it done and it's beautiful!!!! I am hiring him again to haul away yard debris and remaining garbage in and around the house. That work hasn't been done yet. But I'll update this after. I would recommend Rosales landscaping. He's fair, honest, hardworking, shows up and does a great job. read more

These guys were amazing! They gave me a really good quote that was neither too high nor suspiciously low, they did a great job of assessing the work that needed to be done (an irrigation restoration + installation), and found several things that others I requested quotes from did not, and which could've become a problem. During the installation, they found that there were some serious issues with my plumbing, which I was partly aware of, and were very good at communicating with me about what the implications were, how much it might cost to fix, and what my options were for proceeding. They even offered a discounted price for doing the work, since they acknowledged it wasn't part of the original plan. It was even stuff that they had checked, in front of me, but that only started showing itself after time had passed (water pressure was great for a bit but if you left it running for a while, it would peter out--not a thing that would've been spotted during an estimate visit). In the end, they spent a bit longer to fix genuine issues with an 80 year old house that had since very sloppy work on it done in the past that had been causing problems for years and I had just taken for granted! Now I have a very nice irrigation installation exactly how I wanted it, more modern pipes under my house, and I actually have reasonable water pressure for the first time since I moved in! Overall, I think these folks are good, honest, hardworking people who take great pride in their work and are very adaptable when unexpected situations and scheduling things come up. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend them to anyone doing any kind of garden or plumbing or any such work in their house. I look forward to working with them again next time I have a relevant project for them! read more

I had called Rosales Landscaping Services, interested in a monthly yard maintenance service. Gerardo came out with two of his team members a few days later and did an outstanding job in my yard. Nothing was missed, every detail was attended to and the finished yard was immaculate. They operated like a smooth-oiled machine, each focused on different aspects of the job, working together. Even spider webs near the front door were taken care of! They are hard workers and obviously take great pride in their work. These are the sort of people we need more of. Gerardo and Ramon from Rosales Landscaping Services have been maintaining my yard weekly for the last eight years. They do a wonderful job . Their price is reasonable and they always clean up nicely. When I talk to them, they always ask if there's anything else that I feel needs trimmed, yet they always seem to know exactly what needs trimming because they do this weekly, always to my satisfaction.. They also came out once when one of the trees fell in our yard and they removed it that same day. I plan on having them redo our lawn this spring. I have referred two others to this team and they have also been pleased. read more
