I love the Vitamin Shoppe! This is a super convenient location right in front of Arrowhead mall. I can come here and buy my favorite protein brownies (Eat me guilt free) and not have to commit to a whole box of 1 flavor like I do online. I love their selection of protein bars and chips to take care of my junk food cravings. The employees are always super friendly and they have nice sales every now and then on the goods I buy. I like the products and prices of this company. I love the option to pick up in store, which I had been nagging GNC of something they need. Especially since GNC requires a $45 online purchase for free shipping whereas Vitamin Shoppe only requires $25. The only downfall of this specific location is the in-store customer service. I've walked in twice for two different online pick ups. First time, they forgot to include one of the three items ordered. I only figured it out when I got home and slightly my fault for judging by the weight of the bag and not checking inside before I left the store. The second visit I walked in just behind an older gentleman. He was acknowledged, I wasn't. At first, I figured workers assumed we were together. However, I stood in the exact same spot as the one worker went to help him. There was another lady to my left who continued stocking shelves for about 3 more minutes. Then, finally, from the back of the store Joshua walks up and asks if I have been helped. I thanked him for being the only one in the store to acknowledge me after standing in the same spot for about 10 minutes. He helped me with my pickup, and I was on my way after about 2 mins of his help. I still appreciate the fact that they do the in store pick up that GNC doesn't, and I don't really have problems with other locations when I am travelling to CA and NV. But this place deserves it, I've been going here and continue to come back (even though it's a farther drive than most nutrition shops/GNC to my house ) due to the friendly service I always receive from Nick ! he is always so kind and down to earth to my boyfriend and I. He is very knowledgeable about the products, and he is honest about them and will redirect me to something that would better fit what I'm looking for(opposed to just agreeing to make a sale !! Ask for Nick and his recommendations!! They're always 10/10!!) when we come into the store he greets us and he lets me know about all the sales and promotions going on too ! It just nice to come into a store and feel welcomed by him and his manager Dylan who both have phenomenal customer service (without a annoying juice head with a big ego trying to bullshit me and make sales . *eyeroll* ....) This is my go-to location when I am in town from L.A. They have an abundant selection of all supplements and vitamins, and the store is incredibly well-organized and clean. More importantly, the staff and management are very helpful and competent regarding knowledge of their supplements. Particularly, Josh was incredibly helpful to my dad and me when we visited last Friday night. Josh is the powerlifter with the stellar beard who has excellent people skills and knowledge of what Vitamin Shoppe's products do. Wow, I am very impressed. The store is very big, and they seem to have it all - even the hard to find, odd items. It looks like everyone can shop here. The store is mapped out and sectioned nicely too. Finding things is easy, and if you can't (or don't want to) the very friendly staff are there to help. It looks like they employ people who know a thing or two about the supplements also... so whether you are looking for: digestive health, immune support, weight loss, muscle building, herbs, beauty or whatever; they have it, and they can tell you about it! Pretty Good! You can even get a customer rewards card and build up bonus points to get discounts and stuff. And they can track your purchases with it should you ever (like me) loose your receipt! What I am really impressed with though is their customer service and return policy. I did not expect them to accept a return and refund my money on 2 items that I purchased there because I lost the receipt. Especially, since I did not purchase it on a member card so they could not track my purchase either. I thought I would try my luck with it anyway and was hoping for an exchange. Well, the clerk was so nice to me. She said that it was no problem and would gladly refund my money (I didn't even ask for a refund)... and I had opened one product. I was speechless and felt a little guilty about it too - since it was almost a month that had passed (I really didn't think they'd take them back). Anyway, I told her that an exchange would be more than appreciated, and she said, "No problem:-)" again! So I very guiltily walked over to get some of the items I needed. I usually go to this location or the one off of 7th in North PHX. Both locations always have what I'm looking for---seems like they're always stocked well (or I'm the only one buying these particular supplements! lol). Service is great---the guys that work there can answer any question--even after all my research online, I still quiz and ask a million questions sometimes- they're on their game. I feel comfortable purchasing from these locations. Extra plus for the large real estate both stores have--never too crowded, and its a supplement queen's dream to stay and peruse the shelves looking for a new antioxidant blend to try....:) AND, you accrue points! Every month for the last 4 months they are out of stock. This month they were out again so I was told to order online. I did that needed to confirm my email twice that is fine, after ordering and paying extra for shipping I needed to confirm my email again. I did that and the next day I received an email saying my order was cancelled. They are the worst company for keeping stock and the ecommerce site is even a bigger joke. Beware of the Vitamin Shoppe!! Do not sign up for their auto ship program. I was a regular shopper and constantly buying the same product, a lady that worked there suggested we sign up to have the product auto shipped to our home , I loved the idea and you save money doing this also. The first time my delivery was supposed to happen I checked the tracking and it said damage reported, which accidents happen so no big deal I figured they would immediately ship out my product again because they already charged me for it. Well I was wrong! I had to call them a couple days later as no one reached out to me! It's not my problem that ups broke the product! Once I called in I threatened to cancel auto ship and the last talked me into keeping it. So a few days later I received my product finally! So the next date rolls around for my auto ship , again the product shows up broken! I told UPS to keep it! Why would I accept a broken product! I immediately called the store told them to cancel any future auto shipments. I of course had to call the 1-800 number to get a refund, for a product I did not receive! I asked them if I could just use my receipt and go into the store and pick the product up and of course they said no, they will do store credit or refund . I told them I wanted a full refund. Well here we are 7 business days later and I STILL do not have my money back for a product I did not receive!!!!! Andvto mske matters worse, I went to the vitamin shoppe and repurchased the product thinking that vitamin shoppe was a company with integrity and they would be refunding my money quickly so I would still shop there. I will never ever step foot in their stores again nor will I be purchasing anything from them online! I like the Vitamin Shoppe, because it is easy to return items. I returned J. Robb's whey protein when I realized that it contained soy lecithin--which means that there is a 93% chance that it is a genetically modified organism(GMOs). I wrote to the company, and they said that they were in the process of changing to sunflower seed lecithin because of the GMO issue. GMOs have never been studied for safety in humans. In animal studies, they have been shown to cause organ damage and infertility. Theoretically, it is possible for GMOs to cause the good bacteria in your intestines to produce pesticides. At present GMOs are most soy, corn, canola, zucchini, breakneck squash and Hawaiian papaya. You should buy these items only if they're organic. The Vitamin Shoppe also let me return Organic Bee Farms manuka honey. I just found out that bees that are allowed to go on plants that are GMO do transfer the GMOs to the honey. Organic Bee Farms manuka honey is not organic. Organic food cannot contain GMOs. I bought Wedderspoon Organic Manuka Honey instead. Manuka honey is a very strong antibiotic that is used in hospitals in Australia and New Zealand. It will also heal an ulcer and kill MRSA and other antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria. I use it on cuts and also if I have a sore throat etc. The Vitamin Shoppe has good sales. I always price compare The Vitamin Shoppe with online Swanson Vitamins, because it's hard to beat the prices at Swansons. Swansons also has all of their products tested for purity and potency at 3 independant labs. read more

A guy named Jim or something like tat works at this location and gives me the worst customer service each time I'm in there , always on his phone and acts like a jerk every time I ask a simple question .
