I've been a customer here for at least 15 years. First, the doctors are great. However, I have never had the same doctor. Seems like they go through staff quite a bit. I made the mistake of buying a pair of glasses there after my eye exam. With my insurance, it was 1200 out of pocket. I quickly learned the hard way to just take my prescription to Target, get Oakley or Ray Ban frames, with every extra they offer and it cost me about 200 out of pocket. So to save a $1000 bucks and drive down the street is a no brainer. Last few times, the front desk staff makes you feel treasonous as for some reason I should just shell out an extra grand to get the same product. Their attitude absolutely sucks when I simply asked for my prescription so I can go to a more reasonable place. Lastly, there high pressure telemarketing style phone calls are so annoying. I have no idea why they feel the need to bug the hell out of me with calls. I explained that I am a long time repeat customer, I don't need the constant calls. I even asked them to put me on a "do not call list" and they just won't stop. Although I have always liked the doctors there - I feel forced to find a different place. When I placed the order for another pair of safety glasses, I was assured I'd have them within 7-10 days. 12 days later I called to check on the status, and was told it's 7-10 business days. I called the following week, and was told the glasses were in the finishing stages and would be mailed the following week. it's been over a month now, and still no glasses. The front desk staff was so helpful that, when I changed insurance, they pointed me to a company that had a child vision plan included in the health insurance, thus saving me money. The doctor had us in and out in under 30 minutes with a new lens prescription on order. The floor was clean and the workspace, although cramped, had state of the art equipment, including an eye mapping machine which unfortunately is not covered by insurance. They are very sure to inform you of that fact and offer you the option to pay the $39.99 or use the older, less detailed methods. I wore glasses between the ages of 2-11, and contacts between the ages of 11-15, so I've been to quite a few eye doctors. Although I was told I'd wear glasses for my entire life because my condition was not reversible, God gave me a pass and I ended up with 20/25 vision out of the blue and I stopped going to eye doctors for a long time. New year means new insurance, so the whole family went in for a check up today (01/03/10.) The wait was a little bit but not too bad. The doctor and her assistants were nice and my appointment breezed on by. Turns out, my eyes are still perfectly fine. Apparently insurance covers sunglasses, even if they're not prescription, so the doctor told me to get a pair. The thing is, not one pair of sunglasses is priced to be completely covered by insurance, which I found annoying. When I found out that the Coach sunglasses I tried on would mean a $50 out of pocket payment and the Kate Spade sunglasses would be a $25 out of pocket payment, I skipped on sunglasses all together because I can get some for like, $5 at Forever 21. My sister had to get some legit prescription glasses and they only had 2 metal frames covered completely by insurance, and they were purple-ish. Ummm... whatever. They could definitely use some more selection of (sun)glasses in a lower price point. I'll probably be back. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! I purchased prescription glasses from them on July 24th 2017. They NEVER once called me for any updates. I finally called them on October 4th, 11am (70 days later) and spoke to their Optician "Maria" and asked for a refund. She was extremely rude to me because I wanted a refund. She confirmed by looking at her "notes" and said nobody called me for any updates. Maria wanted my debit card number for the refund and I asked her "Are you ready for the number?" They were very friendly & we got out of there sooner than we expected. Michelle at the front was awesome. After leaving here, I was going to give 5 stars. The reason I deducted a star was because my husband ordered new lens & he had to pick it up at a different location on Rainbow & he said the lady was very unpleasant. The lenses were dirty. I loved this place because I had amazing health insurance at the time so I happily paid $400 for 2 pairs of glasses which would have cost us $1500 out of pocket. I liked their frame selection because they carry Gucci, Dior, & Oliver People's but they are TERRIBLE at doing lenses. If you have bad eyesight and actually need glasses to do their job, do not come here. My husband and I both got the poly-carbonate lenses with anti-glare and I was so disappointed by the quality. I needed my glasses adjusted when I got them (as everybody does) and the crappy lab that these people send their glasses to put on a cheap layer of anti-glare so that when they're adjusted, they literally melt and smear!!! Who does that!? I've been wearing glasses for 10 years now and have never had to deal with something so ridiculous. After my first fitting and my lenses got smeared, they sent them back and received the second pair a week and a half later. Those got smeared during the adjustment process too. Those were sent back and on my 3rd pair, the people realized that they'll have to put a cloth over the lenses to not get them too hot so they won't smear. What a hassel! This place is so far from my house and every time I need adjustments, I have to come back here in hopes that my lenses won't smudge and I'll be screwed out of glasses. I've had those glasses since last February and about 6 months in, the anti-glare began rubbing off at the bottom and continued to do so until my frames snapped two nights ago. My husband's anti-glare actually got smudged because he left his glasses out in the car one day and then tried to clean them. This place offers a one year warranty on their lenses so they replaced them for free, but it was still an incredible inconvenience. I will never recommend anybody nor return here again. My father-in-law also purchased a pair of glasses here and had the same problem of the anti-glare wearing after a couple of months. So cheap. Go across the street to Lenscrafters where you pay a little more but you only have to wait one hour instead of 1 month to get a pair of working glasses. read more

The Vision Center in Henderson is the worst I have been to. The doctor was kind and generous of his time, but the staff lie about their timeline. Before I availed of their service, I was told that I would be able to get my glasses in one week and that I will receive an email. I never received an email so I called them after a week only to be told that I will need to wait for one and a half week more to get the lenses. And they also told me that it would take another week for my lenses to be attached on the frame. Had I been told of all these things before I signed up for their service, I would have never availed of it. read more

I highly recommend this office. I went in for a much needed exam this morning as I'd not had one for a few years. Dr. Coker is very personable, and patient with a a patient that asks many questions. Melissa took a lot of time with me on shopping for new frames and answering a zillion questions as well, she made it a lot of fun! They also made sure they understood my particular needs as an artist and heavy computer user, and they worked with me on my budget and timing constraints since I don't have insurance. Staff are very friendly and pleasant. Doctor genuinely cared and did not rush through the appointment . Great eye ware selection, a little pricy, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend doing business with Seven Hills Vision Center. The office is clean and inviting. I have only one suggestion, and that is to repair or replace the carpet behind the front desk, this is the first thing I noticed when walking in the front door. I went out of town around the 4th of July--and I think my mailbox filled to the brim--I believe my delivered contacts (along with everything else) was dumped by the post office worker because I had no more room for mail. This optometrist office is ok. Been going here for the past 4 years & haven't had any major problems. They seem to go through different employees every time we have our annual visits though. Dr. Guerrero (sp?) is really nice. Hubsand & I like her a lot. Although, we have no idea why her name isn't even posted anywhere. Except on the business cards that's @ the front desk. Selections of glasses aren't too great I must say. They have a lot of high end brands so if you're on a budget, I don't know what to tell ya. I guess, hopefully you got vision insurance. =) We've always experienced quick visits. Never a long long wait.
