I came to this place with high expectations based upon the positive reviews. My expectation were kinda sort of met. The place is very neat and professional looking. Everyone treated me very kindly. The exam process was a bit of a pain. They have this test that they blow air into your eyes that I did not like. Because I kept blinking during this process, they red flagged me as possibly having glaucoma and immediately wanted me to see a specialist. Dr. Valdez wanted me to see a specialist immediately, but NV Eye Surgery said it could wait a day. Her response to that was, "Well, it's their problem now!", and laughed. That along with being consulted on new glasses by someone who clearly wasn't properly trained yet, and trying to sell me extremely expensive glasses and then later telling me they had more affordable options "in the back" makes me hesitant to come back here. I'm actually considering going elsewhere to get my glasses after this experience, especially after NV Eye Surgery completely cleared me of having glaucoma. What a bad first experience. Two stars only because I was at least happy with how clean and professional the place looked overall. read more

I had the best experience at Optic Gallery Horizon Ridge! The medical assistants and Dr. Anne Valdez were all amazing super kind, patient, and really took their time with me. Dr. Valdez made sure I understood everything and made me feel so comfortable. They even went above and beyond helping me choose my new glasses, even though at the time I had no idea what to pick! Honestly, I couldn't have asked for better care. Today I went to pick up my glasses 10 minutes before closing time , and the provider didn't leave before making sure I was assisted, she was literally walking out the door and still took the time to make sure I was okay. I also appreciate the medical assistants that made sure I was comfortable with my new glasses. It really meant a lot. Highly recommend! read more

Ok I didn't think the service could get any better, but it just did. My baby boy smashed my face with my glasses on leaving my glasses looking like it was doing a yoga downward dog. I called to ask if I needed to make an appointment to fix it & was told it was okay to just come in. As I was getting my glasses adjusted by Nasim, she noticed there were plenty of scratches on my lens. She looked up when I purchased my glasses & saw it was November of 2022 - my year scratch warranty was almost up. She recommended that I use it before it expires. That's exactly what I did! I also brought up that the part of the glue lining to my glasses stuck out a bit. She notified me that she would ask the lab to cut it since it was bothering me. The conscientious inspection blew me away & I'm truly impressed. I then spoke to Dr. Valdez about the Maui Jim sunglasses I was eyeing months back. It's insane how she remembered which ones they were! She even remembered that it was just sold last month. She was able to order me a pair so easily! I'm am so pleasantly surprised with this impromptu walk in. I would give Dr Valdez a zero if I could. In my opinion I was not treated and taken care of in a professional manner. In all my years of doctor appointments this was the worst! I DO NOT recommend this Optical Gallery on Horizon Ridge and definitely will not refer anyone I know to Dr. Valdez. Caring in my opion is important which goes hand in hand with taking care of a patient's optical needs. Mine were NOT! read more

I followed Dr. Valdez to her new office. The new office is clean, spacious, and well-built. The new office is surrounded by other medical professionals in the plaza. Dr. Valdez has always been thorough, informational, and professional with her exams. Nasim, the optician, helped me get out of my comfort zone of only selecting black frames, to a new color. Dr Valdez was great and so is the staff. I guess this is a new spot but luckily they have their act together. They were able to pull up both mine and my husbands insurance and use one for contacts and the other for new glasses. Glasses came in within a week! The front desk was very thorough and clearly communicated all the necessary steps for me to complete my New Patient paperwork. Everything was seamless and easy from beginning to end.
