    Shipped my item without notice which did not allow me to insure. When i called to ask for tracking, i was hung up on! unprofessional.

    Well I had to send something out today...I went here. I gotta say I left happy!…read more Now I wasn't sure what to expect here when I first walked in. Any how it was 12:30 during mu lunch time. So I had a limited amount of time to get this done. I was at work. So I walk in to find the place with 2-3 people here. I was greeting by one of their employees. Asking how they may help and they just LISTENED. It was great! I had a frame I wanted sent out and they did just that. They kept it simple and easy. I had them pack it with me there. It didn't take them that long to pack it. Now I hate packing...So Id rather make them do it. Plus if it brakes I could blame them! So its win win for me! Also wanna add if its under $100 item they will cover for free with no fee in-case its lost or damaged. I was out of there in no time! Now when you being them something to pack for you...Be ready to pay for it! It cost me $25 to ship something a few pounds. Now that does include them boxing it for me and making sure its packed right. Plus the cost of 3-5 day ground shipping. So over all its not that bad. I do however think it will get there with no damage by letting them do it. So the price didn't really bother me. Over all it was great. They are fast, friendly and pack fragile items very well! They are a good option if you dont wanna deal with packing your own stuff. Let them. Plus its their business and they seem to do it well! Solid 4/5 stars...I going to be going here for any shipping needs from now on if I dont wanna deal with our local post office.

    The absolute worst customer service. Front line staff was rude, combative, and sarcastic. To be…read morehonest, I stopped going here years ago in favor of Compass Printing in Saranac Lake. However, I was running errands in Lake Placid on Saturday and had a simple printing job to do (digital download I purchased from Etsy) which was 9 x 11 on paper. When I stopped in during the morning shift, I was told that their graphics person was off until Monday but it was simple enough that they could get it done quickly on Monday. I ask for an estimate, because I have no idea what it costs. They agree. Great, I thought. I followed their directions and emailed the file along with specs and my phone number. I received an email that same day asking for the size. I responded immediately. Monday comes and I don't hear anything, so I reach out. Nothing. So that evening, I go to the store. I wait in line, and when it's my turn, I give my name and the woman starts looking everywhere. Nothing. I'm patiently waiting, and no one knows anything. Finally, the graphics woman says that she told someone to do it, but they never did. Could I come back in a bit and they'll get them done? Sure, I say. I go to the grocery and run some errands and come back. When I come back, she has an envelope and tells me the print is terrible. Super pixelated. They tell me my file is way too small. I'm shocked because no one called me or mentioned it all the times I emailed or stopped in (remember they have my cell phone and email since I requested a quote, which I never received either). So I say that I have a higher resolution but I just sent it small since I was originally hoping for a quote. And that I can resend. At this point everyone walks away from the desk because the UPS driver has walked in and they all start sarcastically talking about how terrible all of their customers are and how angrier that are by all of them. And keep going on and on about how much people suck. Needless to say, I simply left at that point. 0 out of 5 stars. Would not recommend. Sorry I gave them a 2nd chance. Compass printing, I adore you!! For reference, I sent them a work order for a 16 page color annual report the other week. 800 copies, and they had it done in 24 hours and helped me carry the boxes to my car. Win!!

    Friendly staff, but beware of the "insurance" they push if you are shipping anything. It…read morepurportedly allow a higher declared value, but it's no insurance whatsoever. We had damaged items. Went through a lengthy claim process. The added "insurance" didn't help whatsoever. It's the UPS gimmick to add to cash revenue without assuming any additional risk. Granted it's not this particular store's unique issue, but the practice misleading at the best.
