My wife dropped off two returns and only one was scanned TWICE, while the other package was never scanned and showed never dropped off. One of my items still showed "awaiting drop-off" on my amazon account and when I looked at the two receipts she had from this store, they were both for the same package, not for -both- packages left there. I went back to the store with the duplicate receipts plus the shipping label that was also attached to the unscanned box they had in their possession. It was major fight to get them to look for the package they missed scanning and they wanted me to assume it would be scanned somewhere along the way, but, at over $50 for the refund of this item, I wasn't going to gamble nor assume that. So I stood my ground and demanded they find it and scan it to give me a receipt and proof it was dropped off. It took the guy less than 30 seconds to find it. They scanned it and gave me a receipt. 5 minutes later, Amazon issued me an update it was dropped off and gave me a prompt refund as well. This wasn't my fault at all, yet, I felt I had to fight and stand my ground just to get them to fix their error. NOT the treatment I would expect from a UPS store and the 3 star rating here is perhaps a star better then deserved. The moral of the story is, ....be sure to check your receipt carefully BEFORE leaving this store and be certain you have a receipt and proof of everything you dropped off there. If they mess up, at least you are right there to catch it immediately. I'll avoid this store for now and use another pickup/drop-off location!

I especially like the fact that no pre-registration is required, even for USPS shipments. Open 7 days is also a must for me. The $5 flat rate per package received per week is reasonable. I was greeted with very friendly and courteous staff during my last two visits recently. I would recommend the package receiving service for any Canadian planning on buying and importing goods themselves.

I got impatient and almost cried, and told her she enter the information wrong, multiple time too and I know she was doing it on purpose, and she kept slamming everything she get in front of me. This man decided to use his white superiority ego, to tell me that I have an attitude for telling the cashier she entered the wrong information impatiently. Proceed to tell me that I am banned from his store, all the store around Vermont, that he has my name and my information. Then call the police to kick me out to serve me a trespassing order against me. So I guess any customer unhappy because of crappy services deserve a trespassing order. However, I was running errands in Lake Placid on Saturday and had a simple printing job to do (digital download I purchased from Etsy) which was 9 x 11 on paper. When I stopped in during the morning shift, I was told that their graphics person was off until Monday but it was simple enough that they could get it done quickly on Monday. I ask for an estimate, because I have no idea what it costs. They agree. Great, I thought. I followed their directions and emailed the file along with specs and my phone number. I received an email that same day asking for the size. I responded immediately. Monday comes and I don't hear anything, so I reach out. Nothing. So that evening, I go to the store. I wait in line, and when it's my turn, I give my name and the woman starts looking everywhere. Nothing. I'm patiently waiting, and no one knows anything. Finally, the graphics woman says that she told someone to do it, but they never did. Could I come back in a bit and they'll get them done? Sure, I say. I go to the grocery and run some errands and come back. When I come back, she has an envelope and tells me the print is terrible. Super pixelated. They tell me my file is way too small. I'm shocked because no one called me or mentioned it all the times I emailed or stopped in (remember they have my cell phone and email since I requested a quote, which I never received either). So I say that I have a higher resolution but I just sent it small since I was originally hoping for a quote. And that I can resend. At this point everyone walks away from the desk because the UPS driver has walked in and they all start sarcastically talking about how terrible all of their customers are and how angrier that are by all of them. And keep going on and on about how much people suck. Needless to say, I simply left at that point. 0 out of 5 stars. Would not recommend. Sorry I gave them a 2nd chance. Compass printing, I adore you!! For reference, I sent them a work order for a 16 page color annual report the other week. 800 copies, and they had it done in 24 hours and helped me carry the boxes to my car. Win!!

Went through a lengthy claim process. The added "insurance" didn't help whatsoever. It's the UPS gimmick to add to cash revenue without assuming any additional risk. Granted it's not this particular store's unique issue, but the practice misleading at the best.
