I return items weekly to this location , I believe a middle aged couple owns it . It's always been a good experience with the family members . Today I went in and the old white guy was so rude , barked at me because I didn't put tape on my pkg in my defense Bloomingdale's said no printer needed and gave me a code to scan I assumed they tape it up and put label on for me . So guess I was wrong instead of saying nicely we typically don't tape it up for future info he was rude and nasty ! Come on it's a piece of tape . I don't ship packages often but during this visit i was shipping a return to Amazon. It was a very easy process. Amazon supplied me with a QR Code which was scanned at the UPS Store. They printed the label, gave me a receipt and I was on my way. read more

A few times I've had to send packages out that, for whatever reason, I didn't want to pack myself. It's usually the only reason I go with UPS honestly. It's not that their delivery service isn't great, because I have no problem with it. But the post office is closer to where I live, and I really love my post office. However, my post office won't package items for me and guarantee they'll arrive without breaking. On those occasions, I drive to the UPS Store. I'm pretty sure this is a franchise or some kind of locally-owned place. Not that that has any bearing on my review. It's just an observation. These folks have always been very friendly and have gone out of their way to help me out. One time I left my purse locked in a friend's vehicle about two tons away (oops). I had no cash and I had a package that NEEDED to be delivered. Luckily for me, the UPS store would take a check and my passport as ID, both of which were fortunately not locked in my friend's car. I do think the prices are a little high. I don't really have much to compare them to, though, because I usually save my boxes and reuse them when I need to mail something out, packing my own stuff. Still, it seems a bit pricey to mail some of the items I've mailed from there, but I guess I've always operated under the​ assumption that things cost what they cost. When you want to send something from Buffalo to some other city, you want it boxed up neatly and packaged securely, and you want it to arrive yesterday, you pay what you have to pay without question. This is a very small UPS store, but I've only had positive experiences here! The store is conveniently located in a big plaza, so I never had problems with parking. I will say, some people park RIGHT in front of the store and block the entrance sometimes, which is quite annoying. The service is great. The employees are super nice and even though there's a long-ish line every time I go, they get things done pretty quickly. Given the small size of the store, they don't have much variety in their greeting card selection or packing items (e.g. wrapping paper, envelopes), but they have all the basics. read more

I had made a delicate wood item for my sister and brother in law for Christmas, who live in East Machias Maine, 13 hours away. Not only did it arrive in three day, it was in perfect shape. This Ups store assured me they'd package in right packaging materials. They were so helpful and friendly. BEWARE!!! This store is not for simply shipping via UPS. Their goal is to upsell. I run a small business that embellishes various items with crystals, and I ship all the time. I had a box of items delivered that morning via UPS in a box. They are then embellished and shipped out. I went in to that store to to send it out to my customer in the same box, and they refused to take my box. I was close to the deadline for overnight delivery so she had me over a barrel. I was forced to spend another $15 for her to repackage my items in a new box. I contacted UPS and they said they have no restrictions on boxes. Her exact quote to me is that boxes are only meant to be used once. Apparently UPS is not a green company if it affects the bottom line. Also when quoting the price for overnight shipping she gave me the most expensive price as the only option (meaning it would be delivered before 10:30 am). Since I am well aware of prices I knew there was another option. Don't bother going here! read more
