When I arrived at the store I went to the cash register. There was a short line, and when I explained I was here for a pick-up, they told me my order is ready. The table was quite heavy, so a store associate helped me by bringing it on a cart to my car and then helped me put the table into my trunk and secure it. I needed some string, and they sold me a spool of string, which worked out great. I would order on line and pick-up merchandise at this store again in the future.

When I was doing business with a European organization, I needed to get my hands on A4 paper. Where can you find A4 paper in America? Apparently, right here in good ol' Lockport, NY! It's remarkable! It's so great having a store you can depend on. I definitely recommend Ideal Office Products Inc. for all your office needs!

Typewriters. Yep, they still exist. And people still use them. Some anyway. One of those…read morepeople is in my family. And the typewriters get used a lot. Daily. Often for a few hours. I've been known to scour eBay looking for ribbons. And then one broke. The backup was immediately put in its place. And then that stopped working too. And then the search started for a repairman. The place one had been repaired in the past was long gone. So we called a bunch of places. No luck. We stopped by one. Didn't look open. And then we got a call. Someone used their caller id and saw we called. And called us back. And said they could take a look at the machine and let us know what they thought. So off to Myron street we went. A street off Kenmore. We dropped off the machines and a few days later got a call back. One was fixed and the other would take a little longer. Fine. We picked up the one. The other came a week or so later. The price was reasonable, at least for something that requires real specialized knowledge. These types of skills are disappearing with the actual typewriters. So if you ever need a typewriter repairman, I'd try here first. But call ahead, he's not open all the time, this isn't a store, it's a repair shop. So call ahead and find a time that works for you both.

I simply replied that I was trying to match paper and he told me if I wanted paper I had to buy it in aisle seven. I replied with you used to be able to take the paper here to make copies and he said get out and go buy it in aisle seven. And I told him that you used to be able to do it and he said never! Never ever! and I said how long have you been working here and he replied eight weeks so his memory isn't that long and I have been a customer there for over 20 years. At that point, my husband got very upset at the way he spoke to me and told him "don't speak to her that way" and then he grabbed his little microphone and called for back up stating I'm being abused. Armed with paperwork and a prepaid printed label,I went there for a FedEx envelope. No need for a FedEx envelope anymore ! The associate used an Office Max box( very reminiscent of a shirt box) for my paperwork and taped it up. Let me first say this associate was an absolutely wonderful person. Cheerful and courteous. But I can't say I've seen anything taped quite that way before. When it arrived at its destination, the recipient said it was held together by one piece of tape. FedEx delivery said that box should not have been sent that way. Not sure why FedEx didn't say anything to Office Max.... Not sure why associate wrapped it that way. Not sure why I didn't step in and tape it myself. Moral of the story , you don't need FedEx envelopes anymore. Tape your packages yourself.
