This location usually has a pretty long line so the self service machine is your best bet at getting in and out quickly. If you need last minute packing materials, greeting cards or gift cards this location has some for sale which is convenient. When I have had to speak with someone here in the past the staff has been helpful and were able to answer any questions I had with ease. Staff is wearing masks and following covid protocols.

A charge bill payment and electric bill payment, both mailed together in OP on the same day, did not get to their destinations. I only found out when the electric co. sent a notice to turn off my power and the Visa co. charged me interest. 2. Three separate checks were sent together on the same day and not one of them got to their destination. 3. This month an obvious birthday card with lottery tickets inside was mailed inside the OP post office. It hasn't been seen since. 4. Another card with lottery tix was sent this month and also disappeared. I now have to send special cards in the large cardboard envelopes which can be tracked. Cost more for postage than the card is worth. Ridiculous!! Thieves in the post office and nobody seems to care.

And what makes our little post office exceptional are the people that work there. Every time I have ever needed to ship something out - I tend to leave UPS and FEDEX for other folks and I head right to my little post office down the street. I know that they will find the best way possible for my package at the very best price. Most of the time beating out the cost of the other two already mentioned. They have gone out of their way to take care of my shipping needs and they carry everything at the location I've ever needed. So - they are well stocked - professional and friendly and their hours I have found to be as good or better then most. The staff moves extremely slow, and recently their outdoor post office drop off boxes got robbed. Several people were affected by this robbery. Just before Christmas a bunch of checks and parcels were stolen. My mother had a check stolen from here, washed and rewrote to be cashed for $1500. It's been a battle back and forth. The Blasdell police told her to contact Lackawanna police despite this happening in Blasdell, and the Post Office itself admitted that this happens frequently, and their own workers are to blame. They advised her never to send checks or gift cards, because the staff and random citizens open mail and steal.
