    I've had a mailbox at this UPS store for the last 10 years, and I can't thank the staff enough for their exceptional service. They truly go above and beyond by checking my mail, forwarding packages to wherever I am in the world, and even locating my packages when there were issues. A few tips for sending a package to the UPS store address: 1. Open a package/mailbox account to use the address to receive your package. 2. If you have an account with My Choice, you can also use the address to send packages. 3. Alternatively, ask for permission in advance to use their address for your package (this may incur a fee). If you don't use any of these methods, your package will be returned to the sender by default. I hope my experience helps others who want to use The UPS Store for receiving packages. I felt compelled to write this because I witnessed a woman harassing the staff, making unreasonable demands and using her race to unjustly criticize them.

    This store is conveniently located downtown which is the main reason that I came in here this morning. Little did I know that I wasn't the only person with the same idea, because there was a line of about four customers. I needed to send out a package and also print out a document from my thumb drive. The single copier machine that was available didn't appear to have a jack to insert the USB thumb drive, so I patiently waited to ask the employee for assistance. While I was waiting, I then noticed the self serve computer that they rent by the minute. The instructions indicated that the customer should utilize the copier at their own risk, that there are no refunds, and if you need assistance there would be a service charge for that. Right off the bat I could see that the price to use the computer was outrageous. I figured that if I had a question a out the copier that they would want to charge me for that as well. I got tired of standing in line, and there didn't appear to be much progress with the employee so I bolted.

    I use this UPS store often. I've never had any problems with them. Good customer service. I will say sometimes i think they could use more staff. I've been in a few times where there was a long line and only 1 person working.

Even printing a single black and white page document will run you close to $2.00. I came here to this location this morning so that I could use one of their self-serve computers in order to print out an expensive one page document. There was no such luck here at this location because those computers don't exist. When I asked the sole employee who was working behind the counter the person was quite short with me and didn't bother to offer any other suggestions or help. Also the music was blaring, and the place definitely seemed like a very casual work environment and not that professional at all. I guess that this location is in business to serve their employees.

Got there at 4:58 PM... the same time as a UPS driver who was walking through the door. I asked him if I could just drop off the box since he had the door open and was already walking in. He asked me if it had the sticker on it already and I said yes. Right as I was about to walk in, a man from behind the counter aggressively shouted "WE'RE CLOSED. STOP HER", prompting the UPS driver to give me a guilty look and close the door. Really incredible how I'm standing there panting at the door and the employee inside didn't even have the customer service skills to walk over and say something. I also arrived BEFORE they closed. It's really not that hard to be polite, especially when you've been working inside a room with air conditioning. Won't be going back to this store again.

    On April 30th, I had an appointment at the UPS Store located at 1100 New Jersey Ave., S.E., WDC for…read morea passport photo only to be informed by (2) young ladies and I use the term (ladies) very loosely; their machine was not working. I inquired as to why I was not informed since I had a scheduled appointment. I was informed, they aren't notified when an appointment was made. I didn't understand because the statement didn't make sense, I told them, This is a system that is set up on their direct website. I needed a replacement passport photo to replace a photo taken their that was rejected due to the error of the photographer. All this lady said was the machine was broken and had no ETA as to when it would be repaired. These ladies were nasty in tone and ignorant in display. If you don't like your job, find something else to do, but customer service is clearly out of their purview. I phoned a complaint and was told I would receive a call from the manager/proprietor within 2-days. I received a third party call from a UPS operator today reading from a letter from said store apologizing and advising me the machine continues to be non-functioning. UPS has always been a hot mess in my experience. This location really needs to upgrade it's staff. They are clearly disorganized based on previous visits and I guess just anyone can get a job. There are clearly no qualifications needed to get hired at this location. Well UPS, You don't have to ever, ever, EVER, worry about me darkening your door AGAIN!
