This is an ordinary post office, and the staff here have been overwhelmingly great. But like most…read moreother post offices, wareham PO is understaffed. They only really have one person working at any given time, which makes for long (30-45min) wait times in the afternoon when people get off of work. My advice is to go in the morning before other people are out because I've never had to wait in the morning but consistently have a long wait if I go in the afternoon.

Firstly half of their machines are currently out of order. I put my clothes in to the dryers for 45 minutes each and leave. When I come back one load is perfectly dry while the other is cold and wet. Not thinking I just added more time to the load that wasn't dry and started folding. When the time was up my clothes still weren't dry! I alerted the attendant and she said to switch my clothes to a different machine and she would grab some quarters. I asked if I could use two machines to split the load for a quicker dry since I've already been waiting an hour. No problem. She tests the dryer we used and says I'm getting heat so I can't refund you. Are you sure you put money in. You must have used the wrong heat setting. You overloaded it. Now mind you my other dryer (same amount of clothes & less time!) is already dry! She called her manager then begrudgingly gave me some quarters back but made sure to tell me that they get a lot of scammers which is why she gave me such a hard time and she's new. This could have been solved with a little common sense and instead of putting an out of order sign on the machine like she said she was going to she let other patrons use the machine. I already don't like coming here even when I'm not being yelled at like a child so from now on I am going across town to do my laundry. Almost all the machines are older than dirt. I put my clothes in a top loading washer and the attendant stopped my wash about 3 minutes in and told me I had to use two machines because one (one single piece) of clothing wasn't completely wet yet and that meant I overloaded the machine. Now I don't have enough quarters to dry my clothes here. Dryers are also very old they have no indication anywhere in the place of how many minutes a quarter gets you on any of the dryers. I've driven by their location many time and never realized how many trucks they really had on site. There were at least a dozen trucks of various sizes.
