The experience with this store was an absolute cluster!!! I had a high value auction shipment scheduled through them, based on the auction house's recommendation. The early part went well - getting a quote. From there, it was downhill. I had specifically instructed the assistant store manager Alex S and paid for the item to be shipped only via UPS! They shipped via FedEx because it was cheaper for them. When they attempted a recall they lost track of it "in the FedEx network". I would absolutely NOT recommend them for anything of value or importance. They are the textbook definition of a logistics disaster. In a country with at-will employment that rewards merit, how such incompetent people keep their job is a mystery. But worse yet, is the owner of this store that cared neither about his customer nor his employees. He let an employee that had failed in the first place continue to muddle along while not having the courtesy to contact the customer to fix things. Sadly, Yelp does not allow less than one star. In summary, there is nothing "Qwik" about them when it comes to "ship". UPS eventually delivered the package on June 16 after FedEx trucked it coast to coast 4 times since May 11. The long logistics nightmare is finally over for an item I purchased in April. read more

Went to ship out a DHL package with a prepaid label. The young man working said I had to pay a $5.00 service fee. I then remembered this was the place people wrote scathing reviews about how they were charging customers for erroneous fees. It feels very scammy. FYI I called DHL and they frown upon places charging customers for a handling.service fee. They told me next time to call them and they will pick up at your house for free. I was very happy with the service at the Forestdale Qwik Pack and Ship. Tracking information was available that evening with an estimated delivery time. I received notice when it was delivered earlier than predicted and in time for the recipient's birthday. The woman helping was pleasant and efficient. All in all an excellent experience. read more

Qwik Pack & Ship in Forestdale has always done a terrific job packing and shipping to my out of state family. They really do a great job packing everything perfectly. They go out of their way to find the most cost effective means of shipping. Today,they saved me $10.00 by shipping book separately from the rest of the items I had. That is outstanding customer service. The store is bright,clean,and very organized. Alex gave me a quote of $279.50 to ship some artwork I purchased at Elders. I approved this amount, but when it was picked up to ship, he sent me an invoice for $667.00. I would NEVER recommend using QP&S. read more

I purchased a FedEx shipping label online to ship some golf clubs. This was all prepaid and I already had the shipping label. Went to Qwik Pack & Ship to just drop the box off. I was told there's a $5 handling fee to do this. I asked why this is the case as it wasn't mentioned when I paid for the shipping already online. They said it's the locations fee. This makes no sense to me. They make money off FedEx, I have to pay for handling also? I brought the box in myself and placed it on the pile of boxes awaiting the driver to take them. There's no handling. Seems underhanded. Will never use this service again. read more

The businesses name is obviously "Quick Pack & Ship" which would suggest they package items for Customers, yet they DO NOT. Well, I will qualify that. They will not pack your item unless you allow them to ship it. Why is that? Because they are inflating the cost of shipping? Yes, definitely. read more

My sister and I went here today for help in shipping. She had picked up some antiques during her Cape Cod stay. Alex was awesome! He was able to help us with our needs and was so kind to my sister, who needs a hip replacement. Even though they don't have a customer lobby, he immediately asked her if she'd like a chair and he provided her a place to sit while we worked. As I looked around I noticed that they had quite a few delicate items to ship. It turns out that they ship for several antique dealers and auction houses. Jeff and his staff have, since day one, been exceedingly pleasant to deal with, as well as helpful, efficient, and generous. They are not only great at packing and shipping, they are nice! I have always been very please with QP&S's courteous and professional service. However today I stopped by with a question about a box that I had received thinking it was sent from them. I approached the counter and was greeted by a man and a woman both in their 30's or 40's. I explained the situation and the man kindly and courteously explained that the box hadn't been shipped from that store. However, the woman was much less gracious and snapped, "That isn't our tape, that's not our box... Didn't you read the return address?". It was most disappointing to to be spoken to in such a curt manner. I will continue to do business with this outfit but make it a point to avoid dealing with that one individual. I write this, not to disparage the company, but in the hope that the woman with the so little patience can be given some pointers on how to treat customers more courteously. read more
