I work at South Shore Hospital using Allstate Courier for approx. 95% of our courier needs. We are a very high volume healthcare facility with multiple off-site locations and very specific transportation needs. Allstate has never let us down, in spite of increasing volume with many different types of requests. Since South Shore Health encompasses South Shore Hospital as well as South Shore Medical Center and various Health Express sites, the courier requests are numerous and often need to be timely. Allstate is always accommodating and performs their duties professionally and many times delivery is much sooner than expected. Allstate Couriers was supposed to deliver a dining set and only delivered the chairs because they lost the table. It took them two weeks to find the table, then it took another week to call to set up delivery for a week later - one month after original delivery date. Not one step went forward without me calling daily to try to get some answers. When I questioned why delivery would take an additional week they said I was lucky to get it at all next week because of the holidays. Lucky that they could deliver my furniture that they lost a month late. So now the delivery day comes and they are supposed to deliver between 3 and 7. I call at 7 and ask where they are and they tell me the driver is running late (I should have gotten a call about that) but I am still getting the delivery. Of course, the delivery never showed up, I got no call and they are not answering the phones, even though their website says open 24 hours. They have my payment and my item, so I think this should be considered theft at this point. read more

No wonder this place has no reviews... Abysmal! Can u give a place half a star, or no stars..? I was given a 4 hour window during which my delivery would be made. It's now 4hours PAST that window and nothing has arrived yet. I did get some sob story about a truck breaking down but only after I called them - they never called me. I am still waiting... For a simple delivery... Horrid horrific awful! The better business bureau will hear about this! read more

Allstate courier has provided me the worst service ever! First of all, they only deliver my purchased items on a certain day of the week, so if you are not home, you are screwed. In addition, when they delivered my package, they left it in main door of the apartment complex and not in my door as they advertised. read more

Our Overstock.com order was sent through this service. They scheduled us for last Friday, but cancelled the day of because the truck broke down. They tried to reschedule for a day that wouldn't work for us claiming they were no longer delivering for Overstock past last week. Not sure how that would be my problem since they already had the package and cancelled on ME. Almost had to beg to get delivery on another Friday. They called yesterday and gave a window of 1-5. They called today at 3 and told me they'd be here at 4. By 5:30, I called to complain and the woman on the phone was awful to me. Yelled at me for complaining and wanting to know where my package was. After being screamed at for a few minutes I hung up on her. Really hope my stuff shows up. Luckily, Overstock has already told me that they'll take care of it if the never makes it. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...TERRIBLE SERVICE...Julie from this company called me on Tuesday and scheduled a delivery for today being Thursday. I took the day off of work to be here for my couch delivery. I did not get a call a call from them. I called Julie Thursday afternoon and she put me on the line with a guy claiming to be the owner named Stewart. He said they messed up and didn't get the furniture out for delivery. I asked if he could come later today or tomorrow and he said NO. He did not care that I took off of work so I could be here for delivery. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are extremely rude and could care less about customers they make money off of.m Now the couch I need is rescheduled for two weeks out on April 28th...I will update my experience when the couches get delivered read more

This is the worst delivery (or should I say non-delivery) experience I've ever had. I got a call a month ago that my table was waiting to be delivered. We scheduled a date - that day came and went with no delivery. No one contacted me. After I had to call them, they couldn't figure out what was going on, finally telling me I had to wait another week. A week goes by, once again I have to call them - no call to me to say what's going on - and, big surprise, ANOTHER issue, they still wouldn't deliver my item. After promising to call me back with an update each time I call, I get nothing but silence. When I call them it's always some excuse why they can't bring the item which, by the way, IS SITTING RIGHT IN THEIR WAREHOUSE. I've now been waiting a month for delivery of this item and they're still "trying to confirm they can deliver to my address" because they "can't find the paperwork". Clearly there was paperwork that accompanied the product to their warehouse, it didn't show up there by fairy dust and wishes. Never never never use this service if you can help it. read more

This company has provided courier service for us for the last two years, transporting medical specimens from our customer's locations to our laboratory on a daily basis. Although they have provided us consistent excellent service since day one, I was particularly impressed with how they responded to an incident this week that could have been detrimental to our business. In short, the couriers specimen count was off. It turns out that a new technician on our team had actually misplaced the specimen. However, when we reported the missing specimen to Allstate, they immediately had their driver do a recount, search their vehicle, and return to the location to compare counts again. They did not stop until the situation was resolved to our satisfaction. Meanwhile, they dispatched another courier to finish this drivers route so that our service was not affected. I am not one to usually write reviews but I have been so impressed by this company and their extremely helpful staff that I just had to put this out there. Would highly recommend this company and their very caring staff. read more
