Have been there several times and get the sense that the person who works there doesn't really want to do their job. I am disappointed in their customer service. One time I asked for a receipt when leaving a package and was told "we don't do that" .....really???? Went again to ship something overnight and was told I would be better off going to Hyannis to ship it....because that is where the real Fedex office is.....really??? I will be using UPS in East Falmouth for all things in the future. The UPS staff seem to have a really positive, can do attitude! read more

We requested that they package and ship some clothing for us from Cape Cod to Utah. We brought the items in and paid for the packing and shipping. We did not see them pack the items, but felt it was straight forward. Upon receiving the package in Utah, we were presented with a mangled and taped up box. The box they utilized was a box from a sleeping bag (think of a box off of a Walmart shelf). This box was never designed for or intended to shipped across country via UPS. CCPS responded: "It does look like a reused box was used for your shipment, and also definitely looks like the box was improperly handled. We do accept and reuse boxes of good condition, and for items of clothes or other non fragile items, sometimes a reused box fits the items better." Why go to a store that specializes in shipping if they aren't going to put your stuff in a real shipping box? I would never use this business or recommend it to anyone again. Poor service, poor quality and poor value - Stay away and go to the real UPS Store! read more

Check this out! We dropped off a large (and expensive) piece of art to be delivered to NY (our daughter's wedding present). The owner then decided it was too risky to trust it to FedEx or UPS. So -- without charging us anything extra -- Andrew DROVE the piece to NY and hand-delivered it to our daughter. Who does that these days? So grateful for that kind of extraordinary service! I received excellent and friendly service while awaiting a fax from the CA DMV for a lost licence. The kind staff took my number and offered to call me so i wouldn't have to waste a trip there and considering it was only a $2 charge i was very impressed with how they made sure i was well taken care of. Always ask if there is a less expensive shipping cost of these folks. The quoted price was so crazy I started to walk out - and then they called me back and said there was a less expensive way! (UPS versus Fed ex) Also, there was glass breakage on a picture I sent...so just be aware? read more

These guys are great. We spend the winter in the southwest and ship photo gear and other fragile or unwieldy items every year. They have always done a super safe job of packing and everything always arrives in perfect shape, even when the outer box clearly took a beating. They do a much better job than the big name stores. read more

I needed a FedEx label printed and Shaw's Fedex pick-up recommended going to CAPE COD PACK& SHIP. They charged me $2.63 to create a label and as the young man attached it to my box I asked for a receipt. He said don't worry it'll get scanned we don't give receipts.I was in a rush and didn't ask why, I just trusted him. After my package never reached the store for a $150 item, I called the store and found out the store gave the package to Fedex who is supposed to scan it. You are pretty much leaving your item in a box and get no proof of return unless the FEDEX DRIVER IS HONEST AND SCANS IT!! That's why they couldn't give me a receipt! YOU HAVE AND GET NO PROOF and are at the mercy of the store and Fedex driver. MY PACKAGE IS MISSING .. never leave anything at this store.. they didn't tell me any of this or I would have gone back to Shaw's where they do scan your package and give you a receipt! This WAS AN EXPENSIVE LESSON !! SOMEONE STOLE MY PACKAGE AND THE STORE SAID.. oh well .. IM SURE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT DIDNT KNOW THIS LITTLE TRICK.. IM WARNING YOU ALL! read more
