So I bought one and went back the following week. When I arrived a different man was working but he agreed to do it for the same price. He said come back in 30 min. I ended up shopping at Walmart for a bit and the went back. It was all set! The phone works great. My phone screen also freezes with black and green lines going vertical. This means the motherboard was damaged or there is now water inside the phone. The guy wanted me to leave my iPad without any receipt of dropping it off. When I refused he then said I could order the glass ahead of time. About 25% of the screen does not work for the touch features in a large strip across the screen after repair. When I called the guy who "fixed" my devices, he didn't even offer a refund. He just said the parts are not genuine Apple parts. Now I'm wondering if this can even be fixed at the Apple Store. Hundreds of dollars paid to damage my devices. You've been warned.

Call these people up and tell them I have a Samsung 7 with a broken display screen and want to surprise my guy by fixing his phone. Guy on the phone (the smaller one of the 2) tells me "oh yes, come down it will be 40 minutes!" GREAT! Go down an hour later, just the one guy there. He looks at the phone and sees cracks in the plastic backing of the phone and tells me I HAVE to replace both. Uh. Ok. I guess. Then he quotes me $200. The same price as the deductible on our insurance. He's already got the phone and I'm a little anxious but I agree. Screw it, I think, I just want it done quick. THEN he tells me, without looking anywhere, that they don't have the parts and he can have them in the morning ..."early". He asks for a down payment of $100 plus tax. I don't feel good about it but I pay it. I tell him I'm taking the phone back home and will bring it back in the morning so my guy didn't notice anything missing and spoil the surprise. Day 2. 11am I drop the phone off, the parts still hadn't arrived. He is already acting weird and over-explain-y but I think nothing of it. I told him no worries and just call me later when it's ready. No call ever comes. I call just before 5 worried they'd closed and forgotten me. Same guy answers "yeah the delivery did not come. Maybe tomorrow." No apology. Seems annoyed that I'm disappointed. I say ok, knowing my surprise was ruined but at least the phone would be fixed. Shit happens, right? I tell him ok and hang up. Day 3. No calls. I call again later in the afternoon and he says "yeah, the delivery did not come." NO APOLOGY. "Monday morning, 8am it will be here" he lies. Sorry did I spoil the suspense? Day 4 is Sunday and they are closed. Day 5. No calls. Now my guy is involved and HE calls. They tell us it will be ready at 8 PM(!). 8pm comes and goes, no call. Then they call us at 8:30 and rudely tell me to come get the phone. We didn't plan on going out at 8pm, but to just pick it up the next morning. But again, whatever, it's fixed! Walk in to two men this time. They show me, careful not to hand me, the phone. The display screen is fixed, the back plastic is completely missing, exposed phone guts and all. We look at them confused. I ask why he told me it was done on the phone. They begin what would become an hour of saying the same things to me, except slower and slower like I was an idiot. He says "you pay now (the remaining $100 of my $200 quote) and bring phone back in 2 days and I fix the back." I say "no, Ill pay the balance when the job is done." I explain calmly to him that this is atrocious customer service, that I've been told something different every day and now they had just demanded I come get the phone at night and pay in full and just hope the back comes in. I say I will bring the phone back and pay the 2nd half when the 2nd half of the job was done. Obviously we want the back. And what if something happens to it? He then tells me I'm robbing him because he paid $170 for the screen on the front and only $30 for the back. So I owe him $70 if I want the phone. That's right folks. He said his cost of goods totaled $200. So this is a no-profit business? I'm a business owner, I tell him, that makes no sense. They start shouting at us to leave the store, that their landlord makes them close at 8, "YOU WANT YOUR PHONE I WANT MY MONEY" he yells. So I tell him calmly I'm not leaving and he can argue with the police and we will honor what they say. I start filming as they're getting hostile until an officer shows up. He listened patiently and after a few minutes, he told the guys to just give the property back and settle it in court if they want. They argue with him too, "we spent $200 and the boss (who is not in the country they said) would charge HIM" and all this bullshit. The cop clearly put together that no business would charge zero profit and he asked us to go outside. A few minutes later he came out with our backless phone. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Con artists!

Brought my phone in to have a cracked screen replaced. Once completed, the new screen they had…read moreinstalled was coming off in one of the corners and the side. I then brought the phone back four separate times to have this problem repaired. Throughout the process, it became evident Mr. Fix really didn't want to keep trying to fix his flawed screen installation. Instead he tried to sell me a protective case b/c as he stated, "the new screen was not likely to ever adhere properly". Mr. Fix then told me that they have not been able properly install new screens on Motorola phones and that the manufacturer uses some laser guided gluing process that could not be done by him. I then asked for a refund and he refused. So, I called the owner (Agil) of Mr. Fix & Customize. After some heated verbal debate, he offered to refund my money only if I allowed them to take the screen they improperly installed off my phone leaving me with a disassembled phone to have repaired by someone else who could fix this phone properly. I offered instead to bring the screen that he installed back once I had the screen replaced by someone who knew what they were doing, but he refused this as well. There is a reason why they offer only a 90-day warrantee on their screen repair - it is going to fail. The service manager knew Mr. Fix could not properly fix Motorola phone screens (and probably many other brands too), yet he never once mentioned this when I brought the phone in for repair and paid him up front. The botched repair and refusal to refund my money is bad customer service. The fact that he took my money for a service he knew he could not provide constitutes fraud. "Broken screen replacement" is the first thing listed on their business card leading one to think they could successfully do this. Perhaps the screen that is now peeling off my phone is considered the "Customization" by Mr. Fix & Customize. Better yet, maybe Mr. Fix should stick to "Customizing" phones by selling protective cases and leave the "Fixing" to someone who actually knows how to do it.

Also I wasn't provided receipt after service. I was also charged an " Express service" type of fee for a repair that was not only "mis-re-paired" but also wasn't done properly within the obligated amount of time for "said spectacular" service to payment. I now have paid multiple times for a phone "repair: that results in me having a dysfunctional phone that likes to have a phone that likes to freeze and go to go black screen on me, I will go to the store tomorrow 3/6 and update my experience but at this point im less than optimistic about it going well with dewlaign with expenisvie gadgets that thewy apparently arent as savy as claimed about and having given no receipt. I attempted to pick the shipment up four different times, each time when the business was supposed to be open, but found the store was closed. Twice, I attempted to contact the number that was posted on the door, but was not able to get assistance or information regarding when the store would reopen. My shipment ended up being returned to the sender. The second time a different package was delivered there, the business open. I handed the staff person the UPS delivery notice, they looked for the package, but were not able to find it. I was told it would probably arrive soon, later in the day. I contacted UPS, gave them them the number on the delivery notice, and was able to confirm that the package had been delivered days before. Why the staff person did not use the same number to confirm receipt is not clear to me. The same day, I returned to the store, and the staff member handed me the package, explaining that the UPS driver had covered my name with the corner of a label. I was able to easily peel back the sticker, and my name right there. While I did finally receive one package, the amount of lost time and energy left me wanting to avoid having UPS deliver future packages to this location.
