No GPS to get to the doctors (I'm old) and no way to call or text anyone. Nick ordered the part late on Wednesday - and it was fixed by 1pm on Friday. He spent almost a half hour patiently answering every question I had, helped me set up my thumbprint, waited while I went through all my settings and showed me there is a lifetime warranty printed right on the receipt. It's hard to put a price on technology you depend on, but it's even harder to put a price on a technician you trust who loves his work. I'm really happy that so many people have reviewed NEPW since I did, means that yelp really works:)…read moreMy laptop suddenly started blacking out last week, and my first call was to NEPW. Although I'd done some diagnosis on my own, they walked me through all the steps I needed to ascertain what the problem was, via phone. At no charge. Then they looked for the part and called manufacturers to see if it could be replaced or fixed. At no charge. When we determined that it could not be fixed and a new machine was needed, they did the research based on what I needed and made recommendations to me. At no charge (and no commission, no links, etc.. just, here's what we'd order, from where, when you're ready, on your own). I'm pretty sure they've put in a few hours of time helping me out so far, all via phone, at no charge. Of course, I'm sure they know that they'll be servicing the product anytime it needs it, but that's now twice that NEPW has saved my ass and not charged me one red cent. Thanks, guys.

Absolute scum. Should be called Simple Scammore, if your business is involving in scams then good…read morejob cause you're doing really good. A few years ago I came to resolve an issue with one of my laptop drives to check if they would fix, come to find out that my laptop had over 300 VIRUSES of all kinds and not to mention that they rolled back from Windows 10 to Windows 7, basically they already grabbed an infected hard drive with Windows 7 installed and replaced it with my old drive. Years later and I came in to fix a phone because it wasn't charging, it was plain and simple, all you had to do was plug in the cable back due to all the drops that happened which ended up disconnecting the cable connection that allows the phone to charge. So the guy decided to make up this story about how the battery was BLOWN or EXPANDED which is why it wasn't charging... they would be able to fix it by switching the batteries on another phone I had with me, the cost would be [$40] just for this simple fix, he then proceeds to say that it will take about an HOUR to switch batteries... 1 hour later and I came back with a person that said: "So we found out that nothing was wrong and that your charger plug was just simply disconnected, normally we would charge [$60] but since the fix was just to plug it back in we'll just charge you [$20]" Well that's quite hilarious I must say, $20 just to plug a cord back in. What was all the work for the $20? A simple detachment of the back cover, and just plug in the wire/cord, yep fork over those $20 now. At most I'd give $10 for a simple fix as that and at minimum $5. But to figure out they were going to uproot the price from $40 to $60 is just a plain scam. I'll also mention the fact that they decided to take out the magnet and try to keep it to themselves or perhaps even throw away because it wouldn't STICK BACK into the phone's back cover. The only thing I'll say about this place, thank you to the guy who was chill when handing over the phone, compared to the guy that took me in who seemed like he was arguing/yelling at me. Do I recommend this place for anyone? HELL NO, there's better places out there. 8/100
