Even though I had insurance to fix my Iphone I wasn't the primary on the account so I couldn't get…read moreinsurance to agree to fix without getting wife to jump through hoops etc which wasn't working out on phone. It was a huge hassle with Xfinity to add me to the Xfinity account plus then they want you to send the phone to Assurant for repair or replacement.. that takes a couple few days.. thought well for $150 this guy says he can replace the screen in 20 minutes. Great worth the convenience. Well no this is start of possible nightmare. Non apple parts not recognized and makes trade in a big problem. Face ID now doesn't work, which for me is a huge problem as all my apps are set up with that only. Can't reset my Apple ID on it etc..and only solution is to drive 1-1/2 hours to maybe get it done same day.. or mail it and hope it doesn't take many days.. and you still will end up with non OEM phone parts and this gets logged in the service history. The guy there is nice enough even said they send your old screen parts to make new aftermarket parts in NJ. Perhaps the harvest to make more valuable parts is the point of this place. Maybe not as will see what happens tomorrow as he's going to call owner and find out what he can do to help fix this terrible situation. He will See if going to try and charge me more to fix Face ID with non OEM parts in far off location. My life is all messed up bc of this decision. Will update once resolved

They don't use Apple parts. I didn't know and this was my first time having screens fixed. My…read moreiPhone had a dark glass and it was replaced with a white one that makes everything look pink. My phone screen also freezes with black and green lines going vertical. This means the motherboard was damaged or there is now water inside the phone. The guy wanted me to leave my iPad without any receipt of dropping it off. When I refused he then said I could order the glass ahead of time. About 25% of the screen does not work for the touch features in a large strip across the screen after repair. When I called the guy who "fixed" my devices, he didn't even offer a refund. He just said the parts are not genuine Apple parts. Now I'm wondering if this can even be fixed at the Apple Store. Hundreds of dollars paid to damage my devices. You've been warned.

You'll be emailed back a code you input when you Print on the self printers. You can self pay on the printers with credit / staples card. I got a card from customer service (no name on it) and keep about $5 on it for my occasional needs 2. They're Open on Sunday. 3. They have 4 or 5 self print machines and a table in the middle where you can organize things easily 3. Easy parking in the plaza 4. You can recycle your electronics while here (laptops, cell phones..etc)! 5. There's a Fedex drop-off box outside. Yesterday I dropped off a box that was about ~8" X 16" by 16" and that seemed to just fit 6. UPS counter inside Cons: 1. Expensive. Was in yesterday and a single black and white copy cost .30 which seems like very little but used to be .25 and even that was more expensive than other local printers (further away from me) 2. No pricing posted for size & weights of print options, at least none that I saw but I may have to double check that -- you go through the process and then find out the price (if I am correct). If the counter isn't busy then you could probably ask someone but they're usually very busy. 3. Service is definitely hit or miss when I've had to actually visit the counter. In all, since I've long decided that personal printers and ink are a very poor investment, this suits my needs and offers enough benefits to keep me coming back.

When I opened the package at home I found there were only nine boards and that one of them had scrawled in pencil "LET GO MARINI". It was ok for my purposes but for anyone who needed to use poster board, there would have only been 8 useable sheets and a trip back to the store to exchange the product would have been required I thought it was pretty odd.

The guys here are absolutely amazing!…read more Keith and Ben are some of the nicest guys around, and I would recommend going here to anyone at all, from one nerd to another! I brought my laptop in as it was having issues overheating, so we thought. They fixed up a few issues I DID have with the laptop, but a few weeks later I noticed the issue hasn't been resolved. In the end, I brought it in again, and they looked it over for about a week trying to figure out what was wrong, only to find out it was a manufacturer's error. They still tried to fix it after this, Ben especially, but could not, as the company's error made it too risky for them to keep trying without possibly resetting my computer. These two did all they could, and on top of that, to go above and beyond, they offered to loan me a laptop I could use if I had to send mine to the manufacturer to be repaired. Being a college student, if I had to send my computer out to the manufacturer, and be without a computer for some time, I would have some issues doing my classwork. So, these two offering to loan me a laptop means the world to me, and truly shows how dedicated to the customer these guys at Nerds To Go are! Keith and Ben are exceptional employees of Nerds To Go. They will definitely have my business as long as they are here, and I'll be sure to recommend them to all my friends!

Recently on 10.6.22, I went back from having an initial good experience with them and had the…read moretotally opposite one. I went in to see about getting a virus removed from my computer. I paid $59 to them upfront for the diagnoses and removal, then another $40 after job was completed. Then when I picked it up and brought it home, the computer continued to not operate properly by having the same issues I originally brought it in for. So, I went back and they looked at it again, but it showed no operational problem. But when I brought it home, after awhile, it started malfunctioning again. Very frustrating. So, I brought it back for the third time, and the technician said "the keyboard might be thee problem," and took a few minutes to show me why, which I appreciated. Then I went and bought a new keyboard for $40 and it fixed the real problem. So, then I called them today to ask about getting a partial refund for the virus removal because they didn't have to remove any virus even though they acted as if they did. I told them I'm ok with paying the initial $59 they charged me for their labor and time, but that I would at least like to get the final $40 I paid refunded back to me because they never had to remove any virus as they claimed they did. Never said any word to me that there was no virus. That's like going to a mechanic and they diagnose that you need a tune-up, then they do it and charge you for it, when it wasn't needed, even though they acted like it needed it. Then come to find out, it was just the advice that it may be a new oil filter is all that you needed. They showed no fairness in my opinion. They charged me for unnecessary work they did because they diagnosed it wrong, and wanted to cover up for their mistake. Then I paid even more money to buy a new keyboard because of their incompetence. When if they diagnosed it properly the first time, all I would have had to pay for was the $59 and a $40 keyboard for a total of $99. But instead, I ended up paying a total of $139 because their incompetence. I guess this is what they consider is doing good business at a time in our economy were people are struggling to afford the cost of living. They've lost my repeat business forever over $40 and I will NEVER recommend anyone else to them. I'm a small business owner myself, so I know how important treating the customer with fairness is. We'll I hope the $40 was worth it to them. So disappointing. I really thought they were a good local business to do business with. Maybe I expected too much from them after my original positive experience with them. It even appears that you can't leave any more Google reviews with them. Interesting.
