My iPhone was completely stuck in an update. I had to use the echo device to call. I described the problem and Chris said bring it in. It is conveniently located on Main Street, Hyannis. He knew exactly how to fix the phone and said it would take an hour or so. He did say it would have be reset back to a new phone. No problem iPhones are easy enough to set up. I picked it up the next day, did a restore from iCloud and my phone is as good as new. Highly recommend. The big box store first appointment was four days later. Fast and convenient. He was done replacing iPhone battery in 30 min. Fair price. Only thing you might be aware of is because he isn't an Apple authorized repair provider the settings will always show non compliant battery installed. No problem with phone operation and functions since battery was replaced. Be careful to make sure your settings are what you normally use after. I found that the WIFi was off and I was using data when I was home and should have been on my home network. My bad! read more

Apple and Assurian both quoted 500 l+ to replaced the screen on my iPad Pro 11 inch (1st Gen). You can get a refurbished one for less almost anywhere. It didn't make any sense to fix it with apple , but since it's a perfectly good device I took it to MDM and he quoted me 250. I came here to have a shattered front screen repaired but ended up leaving with a cracked back screen. He took pliers to the phone and cracked the back glass, which was unscathed when I arrived, and then said he didn't repair the back glass. He then made me pay for the work which he had done on the front screen. So the front screen is fixed, but I now have MORE DAMAGE done to the phone than when I arrived, and can never sell it. Chris was great. My iPhone 11pro was very finicky trying to charge it, i.e. sometimes it would and sometimes wouldn't. finally decided it wouldn't charge anymore. Took it in, he took one quick diagnostic, said for $90 and an hours time he could fix it. that was a no brainer for me. Left it in his good hands, went and had a coffee, came back, all fixed. Excellent mobile phone repair shop. Owner was very nice and quick. Had the iPhone 5 battery in stock and it only took 15 minutes to install. Petted the collie dog Zero for a few minutes and relaxed and waited. Another shop was going to take 1 hour to install and they did not even have any of the 5 batteries in stock, they were holding one for someone else. Old place, but quaint and very reasonably priced. Excellent! My son left his iPhone 6se on top of the car and it fell off on the highway. We tracked it with Find My Friends. It was on the highway for 16 hours, run over by cars who knows how many times. The screen was shattered, but it would still charge and Siri kind of worked. After reading other YELP reviews, I decided to stop in with my iPhone 5 that had started acting crazy. Chris was in and busy working on multiple devices. I was told my new screen would be on in less than an hour. It was. You pay when you pick up... and after you test the phone in a variety of ways to make sure the LCD is working properly. I noticed a small crack on the bottom of the new screen. Chris seemed surprised and disappointed. The work had been done by a young guy working with him. He immediately offered several solutions. He would discount the replacement screen if it was acceptable to me... Or replace it and have it ready in 20 minutes. I chose the replaced screen with no crack. $90 was the cost. I've replaced a screen previously on my own for about $40, but having it done right and quickly made it all worthwhile for me. Fixed my phone screen very quickly for $85. Not a terrible price but not cheap. My only real complaint is that Touch ID doesn't work after the repair. I'm not sure whether this comes with the territory of getting your phone fixed by a third party, but I just wish he had told me. I guess I got this guy on an off day. In texting, I told him what kind of phone I needed to have repaired. I get there after an hour drive and am greeted with a note on the front door that reads, "please don't tell me you spoke to me on the phone...". I go in and I tell what I had told him via text. He said he would open the phone and know exactly what kind of screen I would need and it would be ready in 40 minutes. So I ran a couple of errands and I get a text from him saying he's waiting on fedex as he didn't have the right screens available. "Sounds good" I replied. So now I go to lunch to kill more time. I fell asleep in the car and three hours later, I get a text from him telling me the screens are coming in the next day...that he would repair it ASAP, which I can appreciate, but I'm not going to drive and your home and turn around and drive back and forth the next day. So I told him I would pick It up and take it to the kiosk in the mall. I get back to the shop and he's on the Computer scrolling for parts, I imagine, and I stand there and he holds up his finger to tell me to wait...at this point, I'm pretty upset. He gets up and asks me who I am and then tells me what phone I had (after I had texted him 3 hours before with the information) and says "you have a 10xs, not a 10x and I couldn't work on it today".
