I drove out of my way to go to this ups store because they have the means to scan a code from your phone to make the label to send my Amazon return back (my printer is broke otherwise I would have printed it at home). The rude woman said she couldn't scan it and would charge $3.50 to print a label. I'm sorry but I'm am done with corporations overcharging for every damn thing. It's robbery and I refuse to shop at stores that are pleased to rip me off. Don't shop at this store. read more

When things go smooth, they are really good. But when an issue shows, this is when you will see that they are not the greatest. They will try to help you, but you need to keep asking and bothering to get things straight. On July 27 I ordered from the Best Buy in Dartmouth; it was to be delivered to the UPS in Fairhaven. I was to be notified when it arrived. It was due to arrive August 3. On August 7 I went to UPS and asked about the package and was told it has not arrived yet. On August 11, I call Best Buy to see where it is and was told it had been returned. I NEVER GOT NOTIFIED THAT THE PACKAGE WAS THERE! They sent the package back after how many days? At the least, they were suppose to hold it for 7 days. I still don't have my package. read more

If I could give a rating of ten million stars instead of five I would. Kevin Kris and Becky were there to help me send my package. Becky was a pleasure and as I'm leaving the store I realized I made a grave mistake where I got the address wrong for the package I was sending. As I sprinted back into the store I tell Becky my dilemma and without hesitation she leaps into action and scoured the UPS truck looking for my package. She comes back a true hero and helps me fix my error. They all made me feel less dumb for messing up and I hope they all have a wonderful life and am very grateful for them. read more

Awful example of UPS . Lady was extremely rude and attempted to over charge me on a 9 pound item. I've shipped at this location many times with items that weighed way more in larger boxes. I wonder if it had to do with the fact I was wearing a Bernie sanders t shirt ? haha either way I know for a fact she was trying to over charge me because I went to another ups location and wasn't charged nearly as much. lol pathetic. I LOVE this location and I will never go anywhere else. Becky and Sarah have been incredibly helpful and the owner is an amazing woman, as well. They are sweet, fast, inexpensive, and they will treat you like family. You walk in and they know your name and are eager to help. Becky always has a great attitude no matter how much time of hers I take up!! I once shipped a very fragile mirror to my mom and Sarah packed it up so well and it made it to Chicago safely. They are great with Amazon returns and just customer service in general. I have also printed here and have had things notarized. Every single piece of business I have had with them has gone smoothly. TL;DR: Go elsewhere! Owner is rude from the get-go, and price gouging is alive and well here. When I told owner I'd complain to UPS and post on Yelp, she said, "Call UPS and tell them; they won't care, and I don't care about Yelp." Long version: Price gouging is alive and well at this store, and the owner does not care about customer service. In fact, her attitude is one of, "This is my place; don't like it? Get out." We hear about that attitude from time to time -- restaurant owners who get in Yelp wars with patrons; bakeries that refuse to serve certain customers. I like to think that in the long run, that anti-customer-service attitude will make these people fail. But only we--the paying customer--can make these people fail. The owner of this UPS Store does not deserve to succeed in this business. She's rude. She charges too much. And she's arrogant. She also gives other UPS Store franchises a bad name. Ultimately, I hope that will be her downfall. Here's my story: I had three boxes to return to online shopping places and needed to print labels for them. Having done this somewhere between 50 and 100 times in my life, I figured I knew what to expect. A small charge for computer time and maybe 5 to 10 cents per page printed. Wrong. I walked in and was ignored by a gruff woman at a cash register, who was helping someone else. I put my boxes down to wait; she looked up at me with a "why the $#&* are you here?" look, and I said, "Can I use the computer to print labels?" "No!" she barked, and I kind of stood there stunned. Beat, two, three, and she said, "I need to log you on as a different user and then you can print, but you have to wait." Okay, I thought. This is one disgruntled employee, but whatever. I need to send these boxes off today. Another woman who'd been on the phone finished her call and came over to set me up to print. She was pleasant and said, "There's a charge to use the computer." I said, "That's fine. I need to print." She said, "Well, I've been yelled at for that before." That should have been my first clue that something was up, but I thought, well some people are really cheap and don't want to spend a couple of bucks on anything. After taking about 10 minutes on the computer to print six pages, I struggled to tape up my boxes using tape my husband had purchased at this store the week prior. Once I finally got my boxes together, I brought them to the desk. Gruff Woman scanned the labels and gave me a receipt, then said, "It'll be 15 for the labels." I said, "What?!" She said, "It's 15 dollars, 5 per box." I expressed extreme dismay, told her I'd been to UPS Stores across the country, had used computers and printers in many businesses, and never had I been charged that much for so little. She said many things (keep in mind that everything she said was with a f- you tone to her voice): "I have to maintain that computer and that printer. How much do you *think* it should cost you?" "A couple of bucks, max," I said, pointing out, again, that I'd done this same thing in UPS Stores across the country and had never been charged so much. "Well, that's what it costs in Fairhaven," she said. "We're independently owned and we can set our own prices." I continued to protest. "People come in here all day to drop off boxes and we get nothing for that." I said, "You should be ashamed of yourself for charging as much as you do." She replied, "I'm just ashamed we ever let people do it for free." I asked if she was the owner. She said she was and that her name was Cathy ***. I told her I'd be calling UPS and writing on Yelp once I got home, and she said: "Call UPS and tell them; they won't care, and I don't care about Yelp." She might not care about Yelp, but I did call the UPS Store franchise, and they did (at least seem to) care. The woman I spoke to at UPS Store's corporate HQ said customer service is part of the franchise agreement and that the regional manager would be contacting this store's owner to discuss the incident with her. The HQ woman also offered to send me my $15 back. She said that to her, as a consumer and as someone who used to run a UPS store, that was an outrageous amount to charge for the service provided. Here's what bothers me: If you look at Cathy's LinkedIn profile, you'll see that she has owned and run UPS Stores since 1991. If you read the reviews that Yelp has hidden, you will see that my experience is not singular. My husband had been there the week prior to me, and after I told him my story he said, "Oh yeah, she was awful to me, too." He just let it go. That says to me that many people have a bad experience there and just let it go. But people! This woman will then *stay in business* and she shouldn't. I hope the UPS Store corporate HQ actually does something about this. I just read that Cathy used to own the Westport UPS Store, too. (Similar reviews.) But that store apparently has a new owner. It's time for the Fairhaven store to have a new owner, too. read more

I visited the store yesterday afternoon for the first time and last. I was dropping off a package to be shipped out via UPS. The owner was working the desk and she was extremely unprofessional and rude. She told me she makes no money from people dropping off packages and that I should take it to Staples. When I asked for her name she said don't bother calling complaining she is the owner. I have never seen such horrible customer service in my life. I will take my packages as she suggested to Staples which is only a block away and any printing, packing or other business I have. I will never go to the UPS Store in Fairhaven again. I suggest you do the same since I've always received excellent customer service from Staples. read more

I have used the UPS Store in Fairhaven two times recently. The first time I went I was just mailing a package and the second time I had a large 42"X32" picture to be packed. Becky was polite and helpful. It was packed so well that when the person who I mailed the picture to received it, he could not stop talking about the quality of the packing job! I used my AAA card for a discount on packaging, which helped me save some money. read more

I had a nightmare experience with this store. I had to ship a fragile object to California, so rather than packing it myself I took it to the store to be packed. The object was also a one-of-a-kind art piece, so I took extra insurance. In all I I ended paying something like $130. The object got broken so I contacted UPS to pick it up and waited for my insurance refund. Three months went by and I never heard from anyone. Finally I called UPS again and was told that they had sent the object back to the store along with my refund check. I called the store several times and the clerks said that they would have the owner contact me. She never did.and when I made appointments to go in to talk with her she would not be in. I found out that she had another store in Westport and called there. She said that she had sent me a check, but had to stop payment for some reason, but would have a check for me the next day at the store. When I went there there was no check. I called UPS again, they said they could do nothing. At this point, I called her and threatened to take her to court. Finally, after almost four months she sent me the insurance refund. I have to say that the employees were very nice--courteous and understanding. I could see that they were embarrassed. By chance, I also found out that another customer had the same problem at the same time as sometimes they thought I was the the other person. read more
