Why would anyone review a post office you say?? Well if you ever came to this little post office…read morethat sits in my backyard that is Bristol, you would know why! The clerks are so personable and friendly. especially Tom. Every time I come here, we make some small talk, and as I leave we shake hands and extend our good days. what other post office has that kind of personal touch? and if I come here with my wife and/or daughter, they get candy. What really makes this post office stands out is that they know their customers by name and address. My wife one XMas was waiting on a package in the mail as it was going to be a XMas gift. Well it's XMas Eve and my wife is thinking she will not have the package. Well Tom from the post office calls my wife and tells her she has a package there and thought that seeing it was XMas eve she would need it. What post office does these kind of things anymore?!?! Call me silly, but it's places like this is what makes me love living in Bristol.

Usually a lot of foot traffic in this area so be aware while driving. Inside is adequate. Some employees are great, others not too great. Sometimes they have their priority mail supplies stocked, sometimes not. But they seem to know their regulars which is nice. I'll probably be a regular there too eventually since I've only been living here a short time! I'd probably like it better if they said "Hey Shanon, how are you today??" when I walk in! I mainly mailed…read morestuff from outside, but every once in awhile I had to go inside, either to mail a package, or occasionally because I had an issue with a package that I didn't get or something like that. It was fine, the staff were friendly and helpful enough (not overly so, though). There was often a line to get help from the window, but the staff were pretty timely - I never felt my wait was longer than appropriate for the number of people ahead of me. This post office is on the small side - there is a sizeable area for PO boxes, but I'd say the inside area where the front counter is is actually pretty small. Also, the parking lot is really awkward and for a bunch of the parking spaces you are often backing out into the path of traffic who are entering the lot. For me this often adds stress to the visit, but the convenience(for me) of the location led me to use this post office exclusively, instead of the others in town.

AVOID POST ALL if you want your package to be shipped via the service you paid for…read more Mine was not. I paid $130 to ship a package FedEx Priority Overnight for Saturday delivery but the employee created the shipping label incorrectly. As a result, delivery was/is scheduled for Monday. It is a high value package going to a large apartment building in Manhattan. I arranged for the recipient to be there all day on Saturday. Since it will now be delivered on a work day, the package could very easily get lost sitting in a hallway for 10 hours. I spoke to Bill (owner) Saturday morning. This was his response: First thing he said -- "I don't like being bothered on a Saturday morning". He showed absolutely no willingness to even discuss, which added to my frustration. He told me he didn't like my tone. And when I said my husband (a regular customer also) wasn't happy either, Bill said "I'm sure he isn't, he has to listen to you" and hung up the phone. No apology. No attempt to rectify. No refund. Save yourself aggravation and money. Go to the FedEx store around the corner. They are professional, efficient and understand the value of customer service -- everything Post All is not.
