Few customers and waited only 1 minute. The staff was very professional and quick. Scanned my item for shipping and provided a tracking slip without asking. I am traveling from Florida to France with my dog. Both airline requirements and customs regulations require a USDA-endorsed health certificate. I took my dog to the veterinarian so they could examine him and submit all the required documentation to the United States Department of Agriculture. Once the application is reviewed, the USDA mails the endorsed health certificate back to me. For that reason, I needed to provide a prepaid overnight shipping label. My veterinary clinic recommended that I obtain this label through UPS or FedEx to ensure I receive the certificate on time, as it must be issued within 10 days prior to travel. I visited this UPS Store where I was first assisted by the owner "Paul" the the day after by an employee named Torres. Unfortunately, both refused to help and insisted that what I was requesting could not be done. Despite explaining that other UPS locations regularly provide this service and even showing him an example label. He remained dismissive and did not offer any alternative solution. Instead, he focused on unrelated explanations about surcharges rather than trying to assist. This was not my first disappointing experience at this location. On a previous visit last year, I was told I would be charged simply to have tape applied to my package. That kind of nickel-and-diming, combined with the lack of willingness to help, reflects poorly on the store. (This store clearly needs a new owner/management customer oriented) I then went to another UPS location nearby (1856 N Nob Hill Rd, Plantation, FL). The owner there, Juan, was extremely helpful. He immediately understood the request, created the shipping label within minutes, and even scanned and emailed it to me so I could forward it to my veterinarian. This experience clearly highlighted the difference in customer service. While one location was unhelpful and dismissive, the other was efficient, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented. I highly recommend the Plantation location for anyone needing assistance. read more

Walked into UPS, came into drop off a package. A guy Looks to be of Indian decent didn't greet us. He took the package from us scanned it. Printed out a receipt and gave it to us with no instructions. I asked him where the tracking number was and he said it's on the receipt with an attitude. I asked him to show me and he didn't show me. Any time I have needed to come here to mail a package or to return an Amazon item, I have only had good experiences. Everyone I have encountered here has been pleasant and friendly, but not in a fake way. They are quick, so if you happen to have to wait, it is 99.9% of the time the fault of the person they are waiting on, hahaha. Their prices for shipping are reasonable, and each time I have shipped something it has arrived on time, if not early. When I needed their help with packaging an abnormally shaped item, they did so quickly and without costing me an arm and a leg. Parking can be a pain because of the other businesses in the plaza, so if you can, back into a space to be able to get out easier. I confirmed with UPS and my account rep that this service is supposed to be free. My package was eight dollars, but they tried to tack on another three just to print a label. Completely unacceptable. I reported it because this isn't normal practice. I went to another UPS Store two miles away and the label print was free, exactly as listed on the UPS website. I used to enjoy coming to this UPS location. The staff used to be helpful, kind, and genuinely made an effort to assist customers. That's no longer the case. Over my last two visits, I've had consistently negative experiences. There's one staff member in particular whose attitude is completely unprofessional. It's not what he says, it's how he says it. There's no kindness, no patience, no effort to help. Just attitude. If you work in customer service, you need to know how to speak to people. You see the public every day, that's part of the job. This is my go to UPS store. When I go during the week to drop off packages, it's pretty quick and simple. There's hardly a wait and I'm usually in and out. Employees are friendly for the most part. They print out a receipt for me and I'm on my way out in a few minutes. They also accept Amazon returns. The downfall is the parking lot, there's quite a bit of a blind spot and people drive fast through there. If you're able to back into a spot, I highly recommend it. The store itself is small and clean. They have a computer you can use if you need to print out documents if you need to. Overall, a standard UPS for all your shipping and receiving needs. read more

This is the worst ups ever. The customer service is terrible. They are not there to be at service or hear your concerns. I would definitely try another ups. Everytime I go there and it is usually for a simple task I leave annoyed. They dont greet you when you walk in as well and I think that is important as well. Then they have a minimum of $10 for using a credit card which is extremely weird for such a large corporation. Then they charged me $3 to print the amazon mail slip for my return. I'm pretty upset because I was here at this location on Monday to send out a time sensitive item. I stressed to the cashier that this item needed to go quickly. I went with 3-day mail to have a guaranteed delivery for Thursday already feeling stressed about that. Well, when I check the tracking the next day it says FRIDAY delivery. My package didn't even get on the truck until the next day... so I paid extra money for an even later delivery date and extreme anxiety all week. I'm beyond upset. I have no idea if the items are still good and if not I'll owe my customers money and maybe even lose them. UPS has really screwed me over here. A purchase I made at Gap gave me the option (on the website) to have it shipped to the store for safety. When I went to pick up my package, the manager decided he would charge me $5 just to pick it up! I had done this before with no issues, but today, he just decided to make up a fee! His reasoning is that I don't have a PO Box. Nooooo, if Gap offers this service for FREE, you cannot just MAKE UP A FEE. Actually, he said they were returning the package. The older gentleman is rude, completely not customer oriented. He should probably work in the back. I went to the store on Saturday to mail 2 boxes. On Monday, I checked UPS tracking. There was nothing. It was as if I had not paid nearly $100 to ship those 2 boxes. So I decided to go back to the store. I was quickly told that they don't actually ship on Saturday. They take your boxes and your money, but nothing ships until the following Monday evening at the 6:30pm pickup. Had to drop some packages off on Christmas eve that needed to go out that day. And by go out I mean picked up by a UPS driver. After our UPS driver called to say they weren't coming and the local UPS depot said they weren't taking in shipments we started calling around. Most of the UPS stores said they were closing early (at 2pm) and weren't getting a pick up, except these guys. They were staying open until the official early closing time and were able to accept my packages. The store was clean and the employees very friendly. I wish I could give zero stars. I went here on 3/23/23 to scan and email a document. I usually go to Office Depot where it is only a couple bucks for this self-service task, so it never occurred to me to ask how much it would be. First of all, it would be nice to get a hello, what can I do for you, but I didn't even get that. A 14-page document cost me almost $15 for something that took this guy about a minute to do! That's unconscionable. I told the guy how expensive that was, not that he can do anything about it, but he could have at least said thank you or acknowledged that I said something. He didn't say anything, but how many pages is this, go over here, go over there. That's it. Not even a thank you. Their customer service is the absolute worst, and yes, how you greet and interact with a customer is one of the most important things you can do for your business. Generally no line or waiting. I'm in and out. I use them to ship everything instead of the post office as the post loses things and provides little customer service. With UPS, I always get a tracking number and have never needed to contact customer service. It's slightly more expensive, but my time and peace of mind are worth it. read more
